"I think I'm getting the hang of it now," Kevin said as he tried to keep his mind focused on levitating in the sky.
"It seems flying has to do a lot with being focused."
"If I suddenly lose my concentration while flying, I might end up crashing to the ground, and I don't want that."
"Not that it would hurt if I fall with my current strength, but it would be pretty annoying to fall constantly just because I keep getting distracted."
"Although, if that were to happen, I'm pretty sure it's the ground that would have a big crack if I suddenly fall from such a great height"
Kevin was currently floating above his house and he could see all the houses in his neighborhood.
He had been flying around for more than an hour now, so he had finally got the hang of it and was simply taking a final look at the houses below him.
He turned around and faced the direction of Winterfell Park where he and Dahlia first had s.e.x.
"Let's see how fast I can get there," Kevin propelled himself forward like a jet and arrived at the park within seconds.
"This skill is the best," He said excitedly to the system and with gratitude in his voice before slowly descending to the ground.
[I'm glad you like it, but it was you who spun the roulette. Besides, you deserve all the credit for adapting to this skill very quickly.]
"I guess you're right," Kevin chuckled at the system's words.
Of all the skills he had acquired, it was the [Flight] skill that he had been eager to try out the most. After all, who didn't wish to try flying?
"Flying around the neighborhood is the best feeling."
"And I still have about three hours until dawn, I can try flying using my [Demigod Mode] for an hour or so, and once I'm done with that, I could try out the remaining skills."
"But, before I do any of that, I'd like to get the Demonic Pet Summoning Card."
"It needs three hundred thousand evil points to obtain a card right?"
[Yes.]
[Would you like to purchase a card?]
"Yes."
Right after Kevin gave his response, ten cards materialized in front of him, each of them having the same image of a skull in front of the card.
The card shuffled itself in front of Kevin and once
it stopped, the parasite advised.
[You can pick a card to see what kind of demonic pet you can summon.]
Kevin picked one of the ten cards hovering in front of him and the remaining nine cards vanished into thin air.
Kevin turned the card around and the image of a demonic creature was displayed on it with its name written underneath.
"Shadow Hell Hound," He muttered and the card burst into red flames until it completely burned to a crisp. Then a glowing, red magic circle appeared a few meters in front of him with a huge dog spawning at the center of the circle.
The dog's body was ignited with flames and the inside of its mouth was no exception as well.
The huge dog bared its fangs and was ready to attack Kevin who was standing before it.
"What is it doing?" Kevin asked with a surprised look on his face.
[I believe the dog is trying to attack you.]
"Well, duh, I can see that. I'm asking why it is trying to attack me. Am I not its master or something?"
[Oh! You aren't its master yet. You'll have to prove yourself worthy of being its master or it will attack and burn you till there's nothing left.]
[It is a demonic creature spawned from the bottom of Tartarus, after all.]
"Oh, how refreshing to hear."
"Now, what do I need to do to make it worthy of calling me its master," Kevin muttered to himself as he slowly activated his [Demigod Mode].
[It is probably doing this because you're still in your mortal form.]
"That's what I thought as well," Kevin replied and activated both his [Aura Pressure] and [Berserker's Rage] skills while walking towards the huge demonic dog.
The huge demon dog trembled down to its very core. At first, it had been annoyed at how a weak human could summon it.
In fact, the human was no different from an appetizer for the demon dog, yet its own meal had the audacity to summon a predator, such as the demon dog, to be the demonic pet of a weak human.
What rubbish.
The demon dog had been planning to show the weak human its rightful place, which was in its belly.
But to its greatest surprise, the air around the dog became tense and an indescribable amount of rage was aimed towards it.
It could feel that the human standing before it had the urge to kill it because it could feel the rage aimed towards it and surprisingly, the rage was far more than what the dog previously had for the human.
But aside from just sensing Kevin's rage, the pressure being released from him was suffocating to the demonic dog.
'Was this man not a human?' The demonic dog thought to itself.
'How could a mere human release an aura akin to a g.o.d's'
'It was simply unheard of.'
'It was unimaginable.'
'It was impossible.'
'No human, in fact, no mortal should be able to release such an aura.'
'If such a person were to grow stronger in the future, he could even have the world grovelling at his feet.'
'Such a person is definitely worthy of being called my master.'
'Please! Master!! Let me serve you!!' The demonic dog bowed before Kevin in utter submission.
Kevin noticed how the demon dog bowed before him and he nodded in acknowledgement, accompanying it with a smile when he saw the notification that popped up in front of him.
[The Shadow Hell Hound would love to have you as its master.]
[Will you accept the Shadow Hell Hound as your pet/familiar?]
"Oh, this is great. I was worried I would have to go all out on you."
'What!! Master wasn't releasing his full aura on me?' The demonic dog thought with a mixture of awe and dread.
'But, I almost died just now.'
'If he had released his Aura completely, then I would have definitely died.'
