Chapter 241: Revenge
The Old Scorpion fired a few shots backward while trying to escape. Fortunately, Lao Cai dodged them.
Meanwhile, the Old Scorpion’s son, the Scorpion, was firing from behind the borderlines.
Lu Beixiao jumped off a tree and pushed Lao Cai down. At the same time, the Old Scorpion had tripped. Swiftly, he tried to get up to continue running.
Lu Beixiao took a big leap forward and stepped on his back. “Old b*stard! Run! F*cking run!”
“Lao Cai! It’s your show now! All the buyers are dead, and we got the goods! I will go assist Ye Cheng now!” Lu Beixiao shouted at Lao Cai, whose forehead was still dripping blood.
If he arrived a little later, would Lao Cai... He was suddenly reminded of the Morse code that he took as a prank.
“If you kill me, my son will never let you off!” The Old Scorpion continued to shout arrogantly.
Lu Beixiao snickered. Meanwhile, Lao Cai picked up his bloody knife and walked toward the Old Scorpion. The Old Scorpion tried to run but a painful scream echoed around the border!
“If you have balls, let your son enter the border. Don’t just f*cking fire from the outside! Coward!” Lao Cai said viciously.
The Old Scorpion’s body was jerking from the pain as Lao Cai dragged him towards the forest.
In the air, the helicopter continues to convince the enemy to surrender.
Lao Cai tried to use the Old Scorpion to lure his son, the Scorpion, in.
“Scorpion! What do we do? Should we go and save him?” The Scorpion’s subordinates asked the Scorpion, who was hiding behind a huge boulder.
“F*cking hell! If we go now, we will die!”
Lu Beixiao grabbed the loudspeaker.
“I didn’t know K2 is such a coward! Your leader is being tortured, and you don’t even dare to enter!” He tried to provoke them.
Within the border, all the ambushers were ready to attack once the Scorpion entered the border. However, the Scorpion would not fall for the trick!
“The Scorpion escaped!” Ye Cheng said in frustration as he was holding a telescope.
Meanwhile, the Old Scorpion had already stopped breathing. Lao Cai collapsed on the floor. His face was covered in blood as he stared into the blue sky.
Lu Beixiao was relieved to see that Lao Cai was fine.
“Lao Cai, is there an intelligence officer called ‘Queen’ in our intelligence unit?” Lu Beixiao sat down, took off his helmet, and poured a bottle of water over his head as he asked Lao Cai softly.
Queen?
“No.” Lao Cai answered calmly.
Even if it was an intelligence officer, how would the person know that Lao Cai would be in danger?!
Their missions had always been random. Nobody could predict who would be in danger. Anyone could be in danger, and anyone could be safe!
However, if he did not arrive in time today, Lao Cai would have lost his life for real! How strange!
He turned around and saw a teardrop roll down Lao Cai’s cheek. Lu Beixiao wanted to say something to comfort him, but his words were stuck in his throat.
What could he say anyway? Don’t dwell on the past, and learn to accept other women? If it were him, he would not accept it either!
Wait... his wifey would live a hundred years, so there was no need for him to worry!
When he looked toward Lao Cai again, Lao Cai’s face was pale and he stopped moving.
“Lao Cai?!” Lu Beixiao gasped; blood was oozing from Lao Cai’s abdomen.
Lu Beixiao took off Lao Cai’s uniform and saw a bleeding bullet hole in his stomach.
“Lao Cai is injured! Da Sha!” Lu Beixiao shouted.
“Lao Cai, don’t f*cking die. I still have things to tell you! F*cking stay alive! I’ll tell you more when we go for a drink next time!” Lu Beixiao patted Lao Cai’s pale cheeks and said. Although it was full of swearing, his words were genuine.
Lao Cai was not moving, but he was still breathing.
Da Sha ran over with a backpack and took out the first aid kid. They tried to stop the blood from flowing out of his body!
Soon, Lao Cai was carried into the first aid helicopter.
Each of the six Blood Wolves A crew members got their backpacks and were prepared to end the mission.
Lu Beixiao turned on his pager and looked at the Morse code again. He pondered for a while and asked someone for a phone. He walked to an empty place and made a call.
“Comrade Lu, help me check if there’s an intelligence officer called Queen!” Lao Cai would probably survive, but everything still felt strange to him. How could this officer predict the future?!
He did not believe in such things!
“What?”
Lu Beixiao was speechless by his response.
“It’s an English word; it means a female emperor! I don’t care if it’s confidential; I must know if this person exists!”
This rascal was speaking to his father so rudely. The man was a commander, and Lu Beixiao was just a soldier!
Just when he was about to speak back to him, this rascal already hung up!

On the training ground, the soldiers were high spirited as they sang the military song loudly.
The students were grouped into their respective classes and examined one by one. At 3 p.m. in the evening, J University’s new freshmen officially finished their military training.
Ye Qiao received the excellent Pacesetter Award as she wished, only ten out of the whole cohort were given this award! She stood on the podium with a big red flower pinned to her chest as she accepted the applause. The sun was shining on her face as she smiled.
She had never had such a glorious moment in her previous life. Too bad her instructor Lu could not arrive in time.
She wondered if their mission was successful this time. Did Lao Cai die? She had been very anxious about it over the past two days.
After being given a second chance, could she change some people’s fate? If so, would it cause a ripple effect?
For instance, Qin Lan and her daughter did not do much to her in their previous lives. However, now that she had become more successful, they tried to frame her and ended up in different situations...
Even if the reality may be different from her expectations, her biggest goal was to let Lu Beixiao live happily, be her hero, and let the good people live happily. Also, she wanted those who were evil to get a taste of their own medicine!
“Qiao! I knew you lied! Where’s Instructor Lu!? Hmph!” When they returned to the dorm to pack their luggage, Ou Yang complained.
“Do you guys not know what is group-based pride!? Aren’t you guys proud that our class was honored?! Did I say Instructor Lu was coming today? You will meet him eventually!” Ye Qiao said angrily and scolded this group of fangirls.
After all, she wanted to see him too!

Once Ye Qiao arrived at school with the other students, Uncle Du Jun came to pick her up. Chairman Jiang and his wife hosted a party that night and invited Du Jun and Ye Qiao to join.
