Song Jujing did not stop there instead, she took her time to continue explain how things were done.
"... The shareholders are the ones to vote and appoint someone from amongst them, to be part of a company's board of director."
Somehow, Zhang Liling began to question her first-class certificate. She was so embarrassed that she ducked under the table.
Fortunately, she didn't mention this to Fang Bingwen otherwise, the man would have given her a scrutinizing gaze capable of questioning her entire existence.
That would have been more embarrassing than this moment.
How could she have forgotten something as important as this?
It looks like her memories were friend somehow without her knowledge.
After washing up for the night, Zhang Liling carried her exhausted body to her bed.
Sighing to herself without a pout, she shut her eyes but right at that moment, the ringing sound form her phone, forced her eyes open.
"I can't even get some sleep," she muttered under her breath as she lazily sat up on the bed before reaching for her phone at the bedside table.
Glancing at her phone screen, she saw the caller ID before sliding her fingers across the screen to answer the call.
Placing the phone on her ear, she patiently listened to the person on the other end.
"A mail?"
"What does the person want?" She asked, and the listened for a few seconds before replying.
"I will check it now and get back to you."
As soon as the call ended, she got out of bed and went to her working desk to turn on her laptop.
In no time after she had settled on the comfy chair, the laptop was ready for use and without wasting time, she connected it to her internet before going straight to her private mail.
There was only a few unread mail in her in box, but ignoring the rest, she clicked open the most recent one to read it's content.
A few minutes later, she closed her laptop without any expression on her face.
Picking up her phone from the table, she phoned the same person who happened to be one of the staff in the HR department.
"I've seen the mail. Send an apology letter to him and ask for the address he wanted the package delivered to him."
Releasing a deep breath, she continued, "Before 7 AM tomorrow, the invitation package for the launch party should have reached his doorstep."
Listening for a while, she replied, "Make sure to give me a feedback after sending it out tomorrow."
"Good."
Giving her last reply, she took away from the phone from her ear and pressed on the red phone icon.
Sighing, she got back to her bed and laid down with her back against the sheets.
"Some people are really weird." She thought out loud while gazing at the POP ceiling above her head.
Zhang Liling was surprised with the mail she read a few minutes ago but more than that, she was surprised as to whom the person that sent it was.
Although she had a lot of questions in her head, she still went on to let her lashes flutter close and allow a deep sleep to carry her away.
She was far too tired to think of some things that were really not important to her at the moment.

~Tang Family Residence~
After using his laptop, Tang Enlai closed shut it down and equally closed the files on the desk.
When he was done putting everything away, he went down for dinner.
As usual, the dining area was calm as everyone ate in silence until his mother decided to bring up a topic for discussion.
A topic to spite Zhang Xiaoling of he was not mistaken.
Turning to her second daughters-in-law, she Mrs. Tang asked with a meek tone as a small smile graced her lips.
"Have you gotten your outfit for tomorrow's party ready? I was very busy and didn't even remember to shop."
"Ah... I will just pick something from my closet. There is no need to worry, Mother." The young woman said with an apologetic smile.
"No way. I won't let you go with your old clothes. This is a new brand that seems to be owned by a well-to-do businessman, we have to look our best."
Then stealing a glance at Zhang Xiaoling from her peripheral view, she noticed how she slowed down with her hand movements.
A triumphant smile spread across her face as she retracted her gaze from her.
'Serves you right to not know your place.'
Focusing on her second daughter-in-law, she continued with a smile.
"The event will start by noon and that is enough time for us to shoo and visit the beauty saloon. When last did I go with you to that place?"
The smile on the ground woman's face seemed to reduce to the lowest degree as her apprehensive voice replied.
"Mother, this will be the first time."
She seems to have been scared about reminding her mother-in-law that she had never taken out to the beauty saloon before.
She only hoped that telling the truth would not cause the old Lady's face to be slapped with shame.
But in contrast to her worry, Mrs. Tang's reaction was very different.
"Then, let's visit the beauty saloon more often," She said, as she shifted her gaze to rest on her third daughters-in-law's face to show that she was including her in the subject.
"Yes, mother," The two women replied with relieve.
Clearly observing her mother-in-law's actions by listening attentively even while pretending to be preoccupied with her food, Zhang Xiaoling scoffed inwardly.
'What a child!' She slammed the woman in her 60's who happened to be her husband's mother, in her head.
As far as she was concerned, the woman didn't deserve any ounce of respect from her.
Trying to rub salt to the wound she created on her body? That was a childish action.
Did she think that her petty silly actions were enough to make her regret her actions and plead for mercy?
If she thought so, then she must be joking.
Totally secluding herself from what was happening around her, she focuses on eating to her satisfaction so she could leave on time.
Tang Enlai who was tired of his mother's actions, peeled his gaze from her. Sparing the woman sitting beside him a glance, he saw how far-fetched she was from the discussion and sighed to himself before continuing with his food.
***
The next morning, around a few minutes past seven package arrived from a delivery company and a servant received it.
After signing the papers off since she had the power to do that, she carried the big box into the living room.
"What is that in your hands?" Mrs. Tang asked with furrowed brows as she put down the lifestyle magazine in her hands.
Every morning, she had a ritual of drinking tea and for this reason, she would always pair it up by reading her different kinds of magazines that interested her, or watched the TV.
And because she woke up on time today, she was able to see the servants get on with their daily task.
Receiving a question from her Mistress, the servant immediately walked up to her. "It's an express delivery for Sir Enlai."
"Enlai?" Mrs. Tang raised a questioning brow. "Bring it here," She instructed with a doubtful gaze.
Since when did Enlai start ordering things for home delivery?
Mrs. Tang doubted that her son was the one the package belonged to and immediately asked for it to be brought to her so she could check the item inside.
One mind was telling her that Zhang Xiaoling was the one behind this act.
'That girl must have done this using my son's name to stop people from tampering with it. But girl, look here, you can't get past me with this trick.'
As soon as the box was brought before her, she asked the servant to shake it.
"Shake it, let us see what might be inside," She said, guessing that it was either clothes her daughter-in-law must have ordered or shoes and bags.
The servant looked troubled, but proceeded to do as she was instructed.
Feeling that another box was inside after shaking the bigger one, she replied with a troubled expression on her face.
"Ma'am, another box seemed to be inside of it."
It was very obvious from the sound that was made when she shook the big brown box in her hands.
"Another box? Then I really must find out what is inside it. Put the box down and go get a knife for me." Mrs. Tang instructed immediately.
That there was another box inside, was not going to stop her from finding out whatever package landed in her home that morning.
At the same time, Tang Enlai who had just stepped out from the walk-in closet dressed in an ash-coloured suit while trying to fix his cufflinks, heard his phone ring and immediately rushed to pick it up.
"Hello, Mr. Tang, this is ***** from Glint, the package has been delivered to your doorstep."
