When I woke up, it was eight in the morning.

I wanted to make a breakthrough at the last night, but seeing how delicate my breakthroughs are, I decided not to.

I need to be as ready as possible. That means in mind too.

I use too many resources, far more than anymore else of the same level or those a level above me, but I don't mind seeing the benefits I get.

It's not just the high strength, but also the advancement of my core. Which gets better at every breakthrough, big and small.

Minutes passed, and my core kept absorbing the resources, before it finally, begin to slow down after an hour and nine minutes later.

It took a few more seconds before it had fully stopped spinning.

It didn't remain as such for long and, after a few seconds, started spinning again. This time pulling the energies I have prepared.

I have prepared seventeen types of energies. Every energy is chosen carefully after much research.

What we used in the breakthrough is extremely important. The more suitable the resources; the greater advantage one will have.

It is not just the strength one will gain after the breakthrough, but the process of the breakthrough itself could be smoothened further with the right resources.

I always focused on the resources, but I chose to climb the hard path with forbidden power. I focused even more on it.

Every resource is carefully chosen among thousands, that could work in its place.

The rigorous tests are done and studied before selecting that specific resource.

I love the process. I might hand everything to my clones, but I do this one myself.

The core started to spin faster and faster, absorbing more and more energy. In just got few minutes, a flood of them enters inside me and my core absorbed it all.

In many cores, I had leakage, but such a thing had never happened to me.

My core had been always tight and hungry. It will absorb everything I will throw at him without wasting even a second of it.

One hour and seven minutes passed, and my core came to a stop as the absorption was finished.

My heart begins to beat wildly. It is the most dangerous process and also the most painful

one.

I want it to go as smoothly as possible.

Seven seconds later, it begins. My body and soul begin to merge, and it is painful. It started low but went high pretty quickly.

I gritted my teeth to bear the pain, which was still climbing higher every second.

"Ahhhh!"

Finally, I couldn't bear it anymore and screamed loudly.

It's a good thing there are powerful protections in the abode. So strong, that if I had screamed with all my energy, I still wouldn't have been able to breach them.

I don't know, how long it had passed, but finally the pain began to lessen till it disappeared.

'The process had been smooth,' I thought.

People would look strangely at me if they heard those words after my screams. That aside, I felt everything smooth. There was not a slightest hiccup.

It seemed like, the nine pools helped.

A few seconds passed, and the consolidation began. I watched it worriedly but found

everything going smoothly.

In twelve minutes, the core had consolidated without a slight problem.

I was looking at my core, which had become more beautiful and world-like when runes came

out.

They spread into every part of my body, before my core buzzed and released the flood of

energy through them.

The energy entered inside my body, and it begin to absorb it hungrily.

My strength begins to rise fast. Faster than I had thought, seeing that, a smile couldn't help,

but appear on my face.

I am very sure that by the time I finished absorbing this energy. I wouldn't need to fear the powerhouse at the level of Hayat.

Minutes passed, and finally, my body absorbed the last drop of breakthrough energy and the aura of Peak Earth-Sovereign burst out of me.
