"Best of luck, Smith," he said Aymn. "Thank you for everything you did, Aymn," I said to the man.

It had been ten days since I had arrived in the city, and Aymn had helped a lot in making me understand the responsibilities.

"You would have been fine without me. It is clear you had the experience," he said, and I smiled. Yes, I had some practice in running the academy after the extermination of the Grimms, but I had unloaded that responsibility as soon as I saw my successor ready to handle the responsibilities.

I walked him to the front of the manor before he took the sky. I watched him till he disappeared before coming back inside.

A minute later, I entered the conference room, where fourteen people were sitting. These were the people who actually ran the borough. My job is to keep an eye on their work and direction.

A minute later, I entered the conference room, where fourteen people were sitting. These were the people who actually ran the borough. My job is to keep an eye on their work and direction.

"Everyone…" I begin with the meeting.

It lasted for one, and a half hours before everyone walked out of it. I look, at the elevator, when to the top floor, where no one is allowed in.

I looked at the borough and the city and couldn't help but sigh. Even now, I want to leave. It is a beautiful city, and I wouldn't have minded spending some time, but I couldn't afford to do that.

I have to keep progressing without stopping. It is the only way I would be able to meet my family and Marina. Unfortunately, I couldn't leave for at least a year; four max. Though most have to stay for three, leaving in two rare and only one person had been able to leave within a year in the past century.

I didn't want to stay, even a year either, but I couldn't simply leave. It is mandatory.

Though, if I found something fishy, I could go back to the organization. I met with the Prime Volsnorth, who told me they had found something going on in there but found no proof of it.

As long as I found even a hint, that led to proof; I would get out of here and they wouldn't send me on any administrative training until I had reached Sky Sovereign.

It will be extremely hard to find something here; there might not be something. Seeing Prime Volsnorth, said, they are only suspected; they are not sure about the fishiness.

I am sure I wouldn't be the only one searching for it among the Earth Sovereigns and there are also five Sky Sovereigns here, including the Governor.

If they couldn't find it, it would be extremely hard for me to find it as well, even with my abilities.

Still, I am going to try. It is the only way; I would be able to leave this place early.

I sat down in my office chair, while my soul sense covered the massive borough. It is huge enough that I had to use some of my special abilities and formations to spread my soul sense further, without compromising on quality.

The soul sense covered the borough and technically, I could see everything, but even the mind of Sovereign could process so much.

The sheer amount of data is too much, especially for me. All my clones are busy. Only one clone helps me, but for half a day every day; the rest of the time, it is busy doing its job.

I looked at the borough and could see hundreds of things, including some crimes.

I didn't stop them; direct intervention is not good unless it is absolutely necessary. I need to make forces of the borough capable enough to stop them.

They are stopping some, while some are happening. I noted down everything, as I do every day, but from today, I will be able to do something. Of course, I am taking the job seriously. I want to do it well enough that if I didn't find something fishy; I would like to be finished with this training within a year.

I continued to watch for an hour, before walking into the kitchen and cooking myself lunch.

I kept the soul sense active, while culinary needs a focus. I am good enough to cook, with my focus divided. It won't be as good as I, but with my complete focus, the difference isn't big.

An hour later, I was finished and ate alone.

Even now, I didn't get used to eating alone. I miss Nero and Ashlyn and couldn't help, but wonder about them.

Though not as much as my family and Marina. Not because I don't love them as much as I do my family and Marina, but because I know they are safe. I might not know what level Ashlyn is, but I know she is powerful enough to protect herself and Nero.

A few more hours passed, and it was time to hand over things to the clone. Who will not only take control of the soul sense, but will also review everything I have recorded.

I closed my eyes and entered my core; everything was nearly the same here. The plants are growing, and the clones are working.

There is one addition, which I added four days ago. I had started forging it for nearly three months and finished quickly, but soon the problem had occurred, and I needed some specific material.

I didn't have, nor the organization, and needed to wait for over two months before I got it and completed forging.

It is a purple-black thick metallic disk of three and a half meters and there are six small pools, or some might even holes. Four of them are equal in size half-meter in diameter, with the fifth one being a quarter of them.

The sixth one is smaller than my palm.

All six of them have been filled with colorful things. They are powerful energies; even a single drop from them could vaporize me.

The pools contain the energies from the branches; the artifact had broken their original form and converted into the form through which they could easily be utilized.

Till now, they haven't been utilized. The energies are too powerful, I wasn't able to use them either alchemy or artifice.

Though, I might use them within a year or two, depending on how things go.

I looked at the disk for a moment, especially the time and energy. It is for this, I had to wait for that specific material. Without that material, the disc wasn't able to process that tiny branch and store the energies from it.

Soon, I appeared at the door of the library and entered inside.

I glanced at the clones working on the establishment before sitting at the table and started working on the formation.

For the past eight days, I have been working on the most complex ancient rune formation yet. It will be a big leap for me if I am able to create it, but it is difficult.

If it had been easy, I wouldn't have been focusing on it this much, but I have to do it. It will make my inheritance more powerful.

Most importantly, I could use it as a base to create an even more powerful version of it for the Earth Sovereign inheritance.

I shook away those far-fetched thoughts and focused fully on the task ahead of it. Only after succeeding in, it, I would be able to do those things in the future.
