"I had heard about her death; didn't think she would be reincarnated," I said, looking at the energies of the realm core pouring into the bird.
Not a bird. A Titan.
"Homerias developed an excellent method. It gives one very faint chance for reincarnation, but it is too hard for most people."
"Even those who succeeded in practicing it; the chance of reincarnation is less than 1%," said the figure, covered in the mist.
I nodded.
I know about the method and was practicing myself before that incident. In my current state, I couldn't practice it. As the figure had said, the method is difficult and has strict conditions.
Still, if anyone had a chance, then it would be her.
She was like me, a second-generation titan. Her parents weren't overly powerful Titans and didn't even have a realm of their own, like most titans.
She was different. She had created her own realm from the base 9th; she took it to the 4th floor of the celestial tower and would have taken it, 3rdand above, if she hadn't died.
She had fought and killed the powerful abomination alone. That not even the realm lord of the 3rd-floor realm could do it.
Unfortunately, she died in battle with one of the most terrifying beings in the whole universe, killing her.
Now, she had reincarnated, and I wonder how the realms would react if they knew.
Which they don't.
The being sitting not far away from me had a cast, a karmic shield, that isolated the Titaness from karma. Just the ability to do that makes them far more powerful than I first imagined.
They are definitely someone who is at least as powerful as the realm lord on 3rd floor of the tower and might even be as strong as 2nd floor realm lord.
'Who are they?' I asked the question a million times but didn't dare to ask with my mouth.
…
I watched the blob consuming resource after resource and it, not just metals and ores, it is consuming, but also the crystals and herbs.
It is doing that in a large quantity.
I don't mind it consuming the resources. I have tons of it. What matters to me is that the result coming out of it will give me the thing I desire.
I watched the sword for a minute before appearing beside Ashlyn.
The silvery moon with purple edges is now shining even more brightly and pouring even denser energies into Ashlyn.
I watched her for a few minutes before walking away.
Before the breakthrough. My plan was to leave as soon as possible if I succeeded, but now, there is a minor change.
Something happening to Ashlyn, and I want to sort it out before leaving. I hope it will be finished soon; I want to know just what the hell is happening with her.
I hope it will also answer the questions about her sleep.
This definitely has some relation with that.
I looked at my sword and saw, it was absorbing the resources. I focused on the different things.
Now that I have made a breakthrough, there are many things I have to do. The first among them is to create a clone, but I don't think that would be wise when a strange thing is happening to Ashlyn.
Not to mention, it will make me black out and wholly defenseless.
While I was defenseless during the breakthrough. It was necessary; I couldn't escape without it. Creating an extra clone will not help with that.
The six clones I have would be enough to aid my escape.
They already started with the preparations, and I watched them for a couple of seconds before getting out of my core.
I opened my eyes and looked ahead.
Now that I have become a Sovereign, I can do many things. That I wasn't able to do before.
'Like this one,' I thought, and an extremely thin string came out of my hand. It was so thin that one couldn't see it. Even Earth Sovereign won't be able to see it.
I looked at it, controlling it.
It is like it used to be a few years ago and controlling it had become even easier, or rather, my control had increased even further.
A few minutes passed and another thing I had been waiting for had finished.
I opened my palm, and on it was a pink seal, another thing from the past.
It is far more complex than before and if one looks clearly, they will see some ancient runes on it.
Yes, I have used a few ancient rune formations on it.
It was a spur-of-the-moment a few months ago when I was stuck on the inheritance. So, I moved to the seal and started to change any formation I could with the formation of the ancient rune.
It had made it powerful and as for how power, even I don't know that.
So, I am going to check it.
The seal flew away from my hand and came out of the slime before moving the target. The target is none other than one of the three people working in a despicable place.
The Peak Sovereign man.
It is dangerous enough and the thing that makes it even more dangerous is that Earth Sovereign is present here.
He doesn't seem to have noticed it, despite reaching close to him, before seeping into the back of the Peak Sovereign.
Who is only a meter away from him.
I went to my core and saw the meta-scan appearing in it, and with every second, it was getting clearer and clearer.
"As expected," I said.
Looking at meta-scan; it is clear as day that he was able to make a Sovereign breakthrough and breakthrough above that due to external help.
He is pitifully weak, for a Peak Sovereign.
Though the Sovereigns were never a challenge to me Earth Sovereign being the biggest one.
I wanted to insert the seal into him, but I controlled myself. It is not time.
I looked at it for a few minutes, before stopping and appearing in front of a huge blob over a disk. It had finished consuming the resources and now started cleansing itself of any impurities.
The blackish mist had started to come out of it, and it had continued for a whole hour, turning the blob to grey, before it started to shrink.
Thud Thud Thud!
Half an hour later, it started to shit.
Sending out lumps, and with each lump, its size would reduce, and its color would turn pale.
A few minutes passed and over a hundred thumb-sized lumps came out of it and they are still coming out.
Hun!
I was watching it, when I noticed the movements and appeared beside Nero, who had just woken up and now looking at Ashlyn.
"What is happening to Ashlyn?" he asked. "I don't know," I shook my head.
"Did you ask the Mistress?" he asked. "Yes, there was no answer," I replied, and his expressions became serious.
"Though, the teacher, there is nothing to be worried about," I replied, which lighted up his face.
I sat beside him and took him in my arms and watched Ashlyn.
Hun!
Just as I did, the energy stopped coming out of the moon and it went inside Ashlyn, lighting her.
