"Fuck!" I cursed before my mouth froze over.
I had defeated it before its claw had touched me and raging cold bloodline energy had entered inside me.
It is bad, but I did not panic.
The first thing I did was to take the Snow Werewolf inside my core and landing on the ground safely.
Buzz Buzz Buzz!
As I did, three formations activated in my core one after another and their energies entered inside me and begin to fight against the icy-cold bloodline energy.
These three formations begin to whittle it down, but they are far from enough.
All my five clones work on creating the new formation and I entered my core to help them. I barely glanced at the struggling Grimm before focusing on creating new formations.
I have to do it fast.
As the energy is not freezing my body, but also my soul. If it spread too deeply, I wouldn't even be able to maintain my avatar.
Buzz!
It took five seconds for the fourth formation to activate, and it came with raging, fiery energy. It is powerful enough to harm me, but I will care about that later.
Currently, it needs to deal with bloodline energy, freezing me to death.
The fourth formation slowed down the freezing but was not enough to stop it, nor I had expected it to.
We are already working on the other formation and thank god; we have the resources we need and have enough data about the bloodline energy to quickly create the ways to destroy it.
Buzz Buzz!
Nine seconds later, the fifth formation activated, and it slowed down the freezing even further, but it was a sixth formation that came twenty-one second later, that brought the freezing to a standstill.
I did not create any more formations and improve the ones we have created on the data we have got.
Slowly, but surely, we pushed back against the cold.
Buzz!
As it was happening, the harvest finished, and the strengthening energy came out. I stopped the strengthening energy from healing my injuries and instead focused it on strengthening me.
I could heal my injuries with other things, but other things could not increase my strength fast as the strengthening energy.
Still, strengthening and healing are connected, and my injuries started to heal faster as more strengthening energy merged with me.
My clones continued to improve the formation, while I focused on directing the growth energy to the plants I want.
I have got a lot of resources, but I need to grow some truly rare ones. Which couldn't be found outside or in markets; they are very rare and usually end up in an organization's vaults.
The Snow Werewolf was really powerful. Even with all my preparation, it had come really close to killing me.
I am safe and now getting the benefits. The strengthening energy is more powerful than the one provided by the Lizardman yesterday and so is growth energy, which is helping me grow resources.
Soon, the growth energy is completely absorbed by my parched body.
It had helped me heal enough that I could sit down. I did without opening my eyes and once again focused on healing.
It took me forty-seven minutes to get rid of all the bloodline energy and then started to heal my injuries in earnest. It left my body and soul with injuries and formations have added to that.
Some of the formations were harmful and now, I will be healing from its effects.
I did not hesitate to bring out the tub with a healing solution and stepped inside it. This place is safe, not to mention Nero is keeping an eye on things. With him looking, not even Sovereign could sneak inside.
Three hours and eleven minutes later, I am completely healed.
ƥαṇdα- ηθνε|·ƈθm It took time and a lot of resources, but it did not matter. As I am fully healed and could use all my power.
Now that I did, it is time to open that door.
In these three hours, I had opened the Snow Werewolf's storage, and it had a lot of stuff. Four times more than what I had found in the storage of Lizardman, and it had a lot of things.
Sadly, there was no concrete info on this ruin or the malachite door in front of me.
I called Nero to me before walking toward the gate.
The gate had a keyhole, and the key was in my hand. I don't know what it is inside, and it could be dangerous. Seeing it is an Earth Sovereign-grade ruin, the danger inside could kill me.
The door looked like it was made of malachite, with beautiful carving on it.
I am interested in a text in the center. It is a language; I do not know.
Seeing how big the world is, there are hundreds of thousands of languages and nobody knows them all.
Thankfully, the universal language is known by almost everyone or it would have been a bitch to learn a new language in every new area I travel.
I looked at the crystalline key in my hand and put it in the hole, before twisting it.
Click!
The smooth clicking sound rang out, and I pushed the door open. I did not immediately enter inside and instead tried to look beyond the white screen covering the door.
I was unsuccessful.
Taking a deep breath and I took a step inside a moment later, I found myself in a vast hall, which was blocked by a wall made of runes.
It is a big wall, and the runes are smaller than the ants. These red runes are not made of energy but of metal.
Each of them has been crafted with such finesse that I couldn't help but get impressed by them. What is even more impressive is the complex formation carved on each ruin.
These carved runes are so small that even after using my ocular methods at full power, I couldn't see them, I couldn't see them.
So, I carefully looked at a single rune, and inside my core, my clones magnified it inside me, and there they found a complex formation carved into it.
It is so complex that they will need a lot of time to understand it.
As it is not a simple formation of common runes; there are also ancient runes mixed in it; it is a linked formation.
Which made understanding it even more difficult.
Though, after a few minutes of study, it had become clear. The formation carved on the metallic runes is part of something big.
If I am not wrong, then it is just one part colossal formation that is carved on every metallic rune.
I thought about it for a while before shaking my head and focusing on the wall of metallic runes. The wall did not look complex as the formation carved on the single metallic ruin of the wall.
I copied the wall and went inside my core to study it; it took me eleven minutes to realize what it is.
"A puzzle," I said, and not a common puzzle, but one that is exceedingly complex.
Seeing it, I couldn't help but feel excited. It had been a while since I had solved some good, runic puzzle.
