'Good job, Nero,' I said Nero as we stopped beside a well-hidden spot. A good spot is necessary, as we have crossed the territory of the Celub city.

We have now entered a buffer zone between Celub and Haln; the most dangerous part of travel.

96% of all fatalities occur here. Thankfully, this area is small. By tomorrow evening we will pass this region, and all will be safe again.

I put down my abode and walked inside.

After freshening up and showering, I started to cook dinner. I finished within an hour, before eating it alone.

Nero ate with me for two nights, but since then, he is living off the fruits and other things from the forest. He is out and scouting the path; it is due to him; I had not been attacked by a single monster.

I had asked him to come for dinner, but he declined.

He is loving the outside too much to come inside and I did not force him.

After finishing the dinner and washing the plates, I changed the small kitchen into a practice room and waved my hand. Immediately, an elaborate formation covered the whole floor of the small room.

I looked at the formation and the resources inside it before sitting in the center.

Buzz!

A moment later, the formation activated. I closed my eyes and entered the core. There are things I have to do while formation does its work on me.

In these past few days, the efficacy of the formation had increased by a lot. Now, it is equal to seven aurora waves.

It is all thanks to the data and resources I have got from the Ven.

In my core, I entered the workstation, where a couple of spherical formations are floating in front of me. All of them were designed by me, based on the red one at the center.

It is one I got from that little essence storage artifact.

I am not trying to replicate it. There is no use in doing that. My essence is roses are far more efficient than it. What I am trying to do is to upgrade my essence roses; I am making good progress there.

There have been many failures, but they are natural. Without failures, there is no success.

I worked for three hours before I stopped and opened my eyes. The formation is done, and I took it back into my storage, and in its place, came a tub filled with bluish liquid covered in grey formation.

Buzz!

I entered inside, and a moment later, closed my eyes. Once again, entering my core; this time, I did not go to the workstation, but instead to the library.

I sat at the table, where the books were already open, and my notes were out. I looked at them, before starting to study the ancient runes.

'Father!'

A little over two hours later, Nero's voice rang out in my mind.

'What is happening?' I asked, completely alert. Nero did not call me midst practice unless it was important.

' Twenty four Primary-III's under the lead of three sovereigns are surrounding the area you are in. You need to get out of there, immediately,' he said and a moment later, the position of Primary-III and Sovereigns become clear to me.

They are quite a distance away, but they are coming fast, surrounding the encampment, which is spread around ten square miles.

Once we entered the buffer zone, people erected the abode much closer. Only a few people, including me, maintained the distance like before.

The moment I saw what is happening. I opened my eyes and got out of the tub before.  ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom

A second later, I walked out of the abode with my stealth method active. There are a couple of soul senses around me, but I could avoid them.

I did not take my abode back. It will alert them. I could not afford to do that before my safety is guaranteed. I am moving fast toward the location Nero had shown me.

It is the safest spot he could find.

There are more, but I will have to cross the Primary's and Sovereigns coming toward me, and I don't think I will be able to avoid them.

One minute and twelve seconds later, I reach the location. It is good, but not as good as I like to be, considering I will be hiding from the Sovereigns.

Seeing there is no choice, I will have to make do with it.

As I reached the hiding spot, I took out the stealth formation and activated it, and only then, I heaved a small sigh of relief.

'It is time,' I said and a big smile couldn't help but appear on my face.

"We Are Surrounded. We Are Surrounded…"

A loud shout begins to ring out through the whole encampment. Alerting everywhere that immediately, the soul senses of hundreds of Primary-III spread far and wide.

At the same time, the Sovereigns, and Primary's reacted.

'Good one, father,' said Nero as he showed me one Sovereign cursing and moving fast toward the camp, while I watched with questions in my mind.

I don't know why sovereigns wanted to surround us. Three of them would have been more than enough to finish us all off. There must be something else, or they wouldn't have brought Primary-III with them.

I watched the Sovereigns who were moving at extremely fast speed, while people in camp panicked.

ραпdαn૦νel It took two and a half seconds for the Sovereigns to appear on three sides and this time; they did not hide their presence. Instead, they blazed like the sun, telling everyone they were here.

Though their auras are neutral, and their faces covered.

"Surrender and you will survive; try to run and we promise you, we will make it extremely painful," said the tallest Sovereign, who is as tall as Ven.

More than half of Primary-III immediately surrendered. They deactivated their armor and sat down.

It did not surprise me. The gulf between the Primary-III and Sovereign is huge. It is better to surrender to survive later.

"Why are you asking us to surrender?" asked one Primary III. "We are taking you to a wonderful place, where you will get a chance of a lifetime," the Sovereign replied.

"Why this abduction then? If you want people for the wonderful opportunity, you are speaking of, you just need to post on the guild and thousands of people will go for it," asked the same man, and many Primary-III nodded.

The Sovereign said nothing. Instead, a lance appeared in his hand, and he threw it.

Puch!

The lance disappeared, and a moment later; it appeared on the ground. Nailing the question, Primary-III to the ground through his stomach.

"Does anyone have any more questions?" he asked. Nobody said anything and started to surrender one after another, till all of them surrendered.

"Boss, there supposed to be one hundred and forty-three, but there are only one hundred and forty-two," said one masked Primary-III as they gathered everyone.

"It must be the bastard who shouted the warning. Find him," he commanded and soul sense spread widely. The other two sovereigns also spread their soul senses wide, while Primary-III minions moved around to find me.
