"This soil is unlike anything I had seen before," he said, with a voice barely above the whisper.

We have been trading for hours, and now it is past midnight.

I am very impressed by the things he brought out; some were downright shocking. It is not just things, but also the data.

It will be very helpful to me in crafting my inheritance.

"It is a thing your core need. It will upgrade that core of yours and its satellite, among many other things," I said with a smile.

He did not say anything for a whole minute before turning to me.

"What do you want for it?" he asked, and I smiled even more brightly. "Something you haven't shown me yet; something that will help me," I said.

His expression turned serious, and he waved his fingers. A couple of things appeared in the air, and I looked at them carefully before turning to him.

"You should be serious, seeing how precious the thing in your hand is," I said to him, and a frown appeared on his face.

He did not immediately bring the things out, instead, he looked at the soil in his hand. He wants it; it is clear in his eyes. The soil might be the lowest grade, but it will be able to help him tremendously.

Till now, I had only used the soil for my breakthrough formation and plants, where it had shown a shocking result.

I had tried for my breakthrough, but it did not accept.

It is not like it is not suitable for it, but more like, its level is too high. My core might be able to take it during my next breakthrough.

I really hope it does; it will increase the quality of my core, by a lot.

He remained silent for an entire minute before a grey-blue ball appeared in his hand. It is the size of a normal sports ball and made of metal. There are runes all over it, with some fractal design.

"This is what we use to store the harnessed essence of the spawns," he said and threw a ball at me.

His expressions did not look good. He clearly did not want to give me this, but he wants the bubbling tar soil, and I will not give it to him without him giving me something good.

He threw it at me, and a moment later; I caught it.

I closed my eyes and investigated them for a few minutes before opening them. "It is not efficient as my essence roses in storing the essence," I said, and his expression worsened further.

"No, it is not," he accepted bitterly, "But I will take it," I said and could see him taking a sigh of relief.

The value of this little artifact is far less than the soil, but when you think about the concept it is made of, its value increases by a lot.

At least for me.

If I am able to uncover its secrets, it will benefit me a lot, and it won't take me long to do it. Its formations are protected; they did not matter to me. I will have them in my hands very soon.

"The things you have shown me earlier are quite good," I said, mentioning the good things it brought out of exchange for the soul.

"What do have in mind?" he asked, and I took out a few things. We negotiated for a few minutes before being able to reach an agreement.

Finally, we finished up the trade, and it is looking at me, with his body language changing. He clearly wants to leave and is willing to fight for it, if I tried to stop him.

"You can leave, I am not stopping you," I said, and he relaxed a little.

"But there are a couple of soul senses around my abode that might discover you," I warned, but instead of being worried, a smile appeared on his face.

"You don't have to be worried about that," he said, and armor appeared on his face and a couple of stealth methods activated. The methods are good; I couldn't help but get surprised by them.

"Your methods are good enough to hide you from Primary-III, but be careful of Sovereign; there is one roaming around," I said.

"I will," he said and walked toward the door.

He was about to open it before he stopped and turned to me. "Thank you. You are the first native who had truly helped me," he said, with a voice heavy with emotions.

"Think nothing of it," I replied.

"You are going to Haln right?" he asked, to which I nodded. "Be careful. There is something strange going on there," he said and walked out of the door before I could ask him about it.

A frown couldn't help but appeared on my face hearing that.

From the intel I had brought said nothing strange, aside from the unusual peak, in murders, but now he had warned me. I will be careful.

I smoothened my emotions and sat down, before closing my eyes. A moment later, a view of Ven appeared in front of me; he is moving sneakily through the soul sense.

Nero is following him.

He woke up earlier when I was cooking. It truly surprised me, but I am happy. It is about what he had.

He had slept for over two months, and I could not wake him up. To be honest, it had started to worry me. If he hadn't woken up by the time I reached Haln, I might have tried something drastic.

Nearly an hour passed and when Ven suddenly stopped at a hidden spot and looked around.

He placed a formation around, which increased his better, but it did not affect Nero. He is seeing the same.

Ven sat down, and for a few minutes, nothing had happened, before finally the beautiful silvery fur begins to fall down on the ground, and a change begin to appear on his body.

It is painful to change seeing how muffled cries ring out of his mouth.

The change had lasted for nearly fifteen minutes, but when it ended, a completely different person sitting in a place where Ven had been.

He looked like a human, except for having long ears and a tail. If I am right, the handsome man belongs Ganam race. I immediately cross-reference data on the ganam race with data on Ven.

A smile appeared on my face a few seconds later.

The Grimm part of Ven came from the Foxman, but the native part come from the Ganam race.  He could transform into the Ganam race, which couldn't make me wonder whether he could do the same for the Foxman.

I wish I had my powerful seeds with me; I would have sneaked one inside Ven. It would have given me all the data I need about him.

He stayed in his hidden spot for a few minutes before he gets up and a completely different armor appeared on his body. This one did not have even a hint of Grimm energy in it.

No wonder he could move around. With such a card in hand, he wouldn't have a problem with traveling around the world.
