Buzz!
The dust of the Raxth hadn't settled down yet when the core buzzed, and strengthening energy came pouring down like a flood from the runes.
It instantly filled my body the moment it came out of my runes, and for the first time since I had entered the battlefield, my hungry body was slow to absorb it all.
It is not the fault of my body but of the strengthening energy, whose level is high enough that my body is having a problem absorbing it fast.
The energy is really powerful; within a second, it had healed all tiny injuries that had remained in my body before it began filling my body and soul with the power of my breathing.
The energy is so powerful that I could not explain it, and I am just glad my body is tightly sealed; before the world had sensed it, it would have brought down its suppression at me.
Whether it is Grimm or humans, the world does not bear anything that is above the limit; while I may not be above the limit, strengthening energy is.
The strengthening energy has not come alone; it brought powerful growth energy with it, which began to fill all the plants to the brim. I so much wanted to control it but could not.
My one clone is still busy managing the mutation in Rai, while the other is focused on Grimms with me.
I wanted to observe the strengthening and the growing energy, but there was no time; I just faintly glanced at it, controlled my shock, and focused on the work at hand.
I have less than nine seconds and have to finish it before that.
So, I am giving my all without caring whether Grimms sensed it; I have gone far too deep for them to do anything other than lashing out.
One Grimm had discovered my interference and now lashing out madly with full power; it had injured a couple of humans and, most importantly, Ashlyn, that I wanted to stop all and finish that bastard first, but I controlled my emotions.
I need to be rational; I need to take three of them together, and only then we will have a chance against the rest.
So, I drank all the anger and focused on work, no matter how many of its mad attacks clashed against Ashlyn.
"Three seconds," said mom, and I could feel shakiness in her voice and knew that she was barely holding on.
Now, she does not have to.
"I am finished," I said, and to the shock of all the humans and my mother, and most importantly, three Grimms.
They saw the exploding power of the three Grimms suddenly muted before those three Grimms froze up and disappeared, never to appear in the world again.
My core shook like never before as the three appeared, but a moment later, the shock began to slow down till all the shaking had stopped as the power of Nero filled a tiny spatial domain.
Without Nero, I could not hold these Grimms.
Ashlyn, too, disappeared into my core, and I turned to my mother, who was not in a good state.
"You should leave too, mom," I said, and she opened her mouth to say something before I stopped her as formation appeared in front of me.
"You have helped enough; we will be able to handle the rest," I said. She is in no condition to go; further, she could stand in the air, and the moment she stops her art, she will fall down.
"Kill these bastards, Micheal," she said finally, "Don't worry, mom, within an hour, not a single one of them will remain," I said, and she nodded; before stepping into the formation, as she did, the mist begin to clear.
I moved, and by the time I appeared beside Elina, the mist had been completely cleared, and the four Grimms were looking at me in shock.
We have surrounded the bastards; of the eight, only four have remained, and I, as I had said to my mother, these bastards too will die.
For nearly half a minute, nobody spoke before Grag spoke up as its eyes turned to me.
"You, Zaar, you have made them disappear, bring them out," it said loudly as its aura flared wildly.
"Rhaek had warned us about you; we should have listened to him," it added and came at me.
"Well, I will rectify that mistake immediately," it roared and attacked, but at that moment, Rai appeared in front of me.
"You will have to go through me to kill him," he said, and his aura, too, exploded as it moved its spear toward the coming claws of Grimm.
His strength increased a lot, especially in the past half minute, which the Grimms had given us. He was able to work with my clone, doing nearly five times the work in that short time.
CLANNNNNNG!
The power of the Grimm is nothing to scoff at; as their weapons clashed, the space exploded, and a powerful shockwave spread out, cracking the space as it spread.
The Grimm and Rai remained locked for a moment before Rai took a couple of steps back with the blood leaking from his mouth.
The power of the Golden Fire Werewolf is nothing to scoff at, especially when released power; even Rai, with its mutation boost, is not a full match for it yet.
"Kill Zaar; after we finish it, killing other humans wouldn't be a challenge," shouted Grag, and three Grimms, who were frozen in their places, reacted immediately.
The world-shaking auras exploded out of their bodies, and the bloodline phantoms appeared in the sky before merging with them, reinforcing their auras further.
"Die, you bastard!"
All three of them shouted in unison and came at me; the power the three emitted was huge, so much that my whole body began shaking as I was targeted by them, but like Grag, it wouldn't be easy for them to reach me.
The moment the three came at me, all the humans leaped at them; from Elina to Supreme Commander, everyone moved toward the Grimms without the slightest word.
I did not move but gripped my sword tighter; it was the only method I had to defend myself against the attacks of these bastards.
It is a huge risk I am taking, but what other choice I have?
Unlike Rai or me, these people who do not have something that could help them go for hours.
At most, they have an hour, and that is after the help, I am going to provide them.
They clashed against the Grimms and pushed back, but before they could come at me, another group moved, and when the group pushed, another group took their place.
We have ten people fighting against three Grimms, that is more than three times their number, which usually favors the Grimms.
They are not holding back but is pressing forward, especially the first group of Jill, Ellen, and Kevin; these three are very powerful, only weaker than Rai, who is a true Grand Lord, while these three are just High-Grandmasters.
If they had been a Grand Lords, then these eight Grimms that attacked us wouldn't have been able to survive, even for a minute.
