Chapter 2948 Clash Of Devine Energies

"What is happening to Lord Zaar?" asked Lord Whitmore in horror as he saw Grimm-like scales appearing on his body.

It is not only he who is horrified by such change, but others too; they have never seen something like this before, have even read about it.

"I don't know," said the projection of the Elder Lord, who had worry written all over his face and had horror hidden in his eyes.

Seeing what was happening to Michael had shaken him.

"I am summoning Lord Carmichael and Lady Charline," said Lord Whitmore, and nobody objected.

Usually, the information about the Grand Lord's battles is kept secret, but sometimes, they call the expert to take their view on the important situation, and this is an important situation.

It took a few seconds for them to appear.

"What happened?" asked Lord Carmichael, "This," replied Lord Whitmore and rewound the footage; as they saw it, their expressions couldn't help but change.

"Do you know anything about it?" asked Lord Whitmore. "It is the first time I have seen something like it," said Lady Charline.

"I think I know what is happening," said Lord Carmichael, and all the eyes turned on him. "What is it?" asked Lady Josephine before Lord Whitmore could ask.

"Swallowing," he said with a grave expression, "Swallowing!" said a few Grand Lords in alarm. "Yes, the old snake is trying to swallow Grandmaster Zaar," he added, shocking those who were listening.

"It is a very dangerous method; not many dares to use it, given the risk it possesses, but it also offers tremendous benefits."

"Though the failure would mean death, there is no surviving it," explained Lord Carmichael grimly.

"So, if old snake failed, Lord Zaar could be saved?" asked Lord Whitmore; he is confident in Lord Zaar, who survived even more dangerous conditions than this and not to mention his ability to perform the miracles.

So, he did not doubt Lord Zaar would survive it.

"Unfortunately, no," said Lord Carmichael, dousing his hopes.

"The failure means death, of both. I don't want to say it, but chances of Grandmaster Zaar's survival are very low," said Lord Carmichael, shaking everyone to their core, given how important Lord Zaar is.

He is as important as Matron Mavis, or even more, given his potential.

….

"Ahhhhhhhhh…."

The old snake screamed as three formations activated; a sticky dark blue energy created from the combination of three formations spread across the body, soul, and energy and stuck to the grains of blood-red dusk particles before pulling them out.

It seemed to be giving the old snake immense pain that it shouted through my body wrenchingly.

I am not surprised; every particle is part of it, and when I pull them off from their required position, it feels like I am tearing their soul apart, and I may be doing that just that.

Though I am not feeling any pleasure from its scream, its pain might be pleasing here, but I am focused on the particles it is made, and they seem to be welded into me; even with all the power of three formations, the progress is slow.

"Fuck it!"

I cursed and decided not to hold back and activated the formations at their full power, and immediately, I felt like I was boiling in the lava.

It is extremely painful that I am glad that I am being frozen, or I would have screamed loudly as the Grimms.

It is not just painful, the peak power of the formation is harming my body and soul, but with the condition, I am in, I could not bear to think about those things.

If I survived, I would be able to heal any damage I got.

"Little bastard, you are more difficult than I had thought but don't think this all I have," said the old snake through a scream, and immediately, the change occurred in all the particles of the old snake.

They lighted up and in divine energy; it shocked me.

I am not surprised by the divine energy; I knew it had it. It shouldn't have used all of it on me; what surprised me was the amount of it.

It is huge, much, many times more than it had used against me that time.

As the divine energy charged out, the particles of the old snake stopped in their tracks and began to retreat to the old place.

No matter how much I pulled, I wouldn't be able to pull them back; instead, they started seeping even deeper inside me.

Buzz!

"Do you think only you can use the divine energy?" I asked it, and immediately divine energy filled all three formations.

"This! How is it possible?" asked the old snake in shock the very next second as it had sensed the divine energy, and while it had changed a lot with a lot of things, I had mixed in it. The old snake could still sense the divine energy which used to belong to it.

The divine energy is purified to the first layer, and after that, I mix a lot of resources in it, including a large number of divine crystals.

Increasing its quantity and power by many times, most importantly, I had designed it in such a way that it will anti-thesis to the divine energy of the Grimm.

Ahhhhh…

I screamed as the divine energy filled the runes and began to pull against the particles; while the energy was powerful, it was also harming me tremendously.

But I did not care.

As I had said before, as long as I survive this, I will have more than enough time to heal from the damage the Grimm had brough on me; even if the damage is immense, I will find a way to heal it.

The only thing I will need to do is survive.

The tug of war began against the two energies; both seemed to be equal in power as the particle would swing toward both sides.

Seeing that, I had stopped holding back and released the energy as much as possible, not caring how is frying up my soul and body.

If Michael had time to look outside, he would find huge smoke of wasted divine energy coming out of its scaly body.

My reckless move seemed to work, as now I had gained the edge to the shock of the old snake. As I had done that using my own energy.

The old snake is very angry; since it is inside me, I can feel the anger radiating and feel that I want to laugh, laugh so loudly that tears begin to stream out of my eyes, but unfortunately, I cannot.

BANNNG!

My body hit the ground finally, and I did not feel as shocked as I thought I would feel after falling from such a height.

Not even a crack had appeared, which should have; it is likely because of the scales covering me. they might look thin but are highly defensive, especially against blunt blows like this.

"Zaar, your methods are really shocking; no wonder you have forced us Grimms to this level," said the old snake.

"But don't think I am without means." It said, and I could feel deep unwillingly from the Grimm; sensing that, I couldn't help shuddering through my soul.

If it is an option that even the old snake is unwilling to use, then it would be really something powerful.

A second later, it had used that option, and horror dawned on my soul as the scream came out through my frozen body.
