Thud!

Elder Lord fell onto the ground as he appeared, not even having the energy to stand on his two feet; he was only able to fight till now through sheer will.

"You will be fine, Elder Lord," I said to him, despite knowing he had fallen unconscious, before taking him to the center of cube formation, which was floating in the air.

I have prepared it beforehand to utilize it the moment he appears.

I and my clones begin healing him immediately, without wasting even a second of time. It would have been great if he had come earlier; they have taken nearly an hour to send him to me, but still, he can be saved.

This time, I did not even cast a glance at the battle and even asked Lord Whitmore not to disturb till something really important was happening or the old snake had appeared.

Time passed as the sweat began to fill up my temple, and veins began to pop out; the curse had spread too wide across the body of Elder Lord, and it was taking a colossal amount of effort to deal with it.

I rarely had a hard time dealing with any curse, even if it was a level above me; I had healed the curses of Tyrant Grade while still being Emperor. So, in that sense, I should be able to deal with this curse with relative ease, too, since it also levels above me, but things are not that simple.

The three stages of primary class are different from than other stages; even though the curse is only a level above me, it is extremely powerful, not to mention the limit of the world, making things even more complicated.

I need to treat the curse with extreme caution, not only because it is dangerous but also because I could not let the world sense it. The moment it did, it brought down its power at it, which could suppress the Grand Lord to his place to blast him to pieces, which is likely to happen.

The world tends to destroy things that are above the level.

An hour passed, and I was still healing the Elder Lord; only Rai and the Supreme commander had taken over an hour to heal, while Patriarch and others took about fifty minutes.

Even after an hour, I was not even reached halfway into healing, but I am close, and once I am dealing with an important hurdle, the rest of healing with be much easier to handle.

Things must be going well, or at least not become worse, since Lord Whitmore hadn't disturbed me, nor have I received any visuals from Ashlyn. I couldn't help but feel grateful at that; the condition of the Elder Lord is very critical; if he had been even half an hour later, I wouldn't been able to save him.

The curse begins to change characteristics after spreading 75%, and the body of the Elder Lord is something that the curse seems to like, seeing the way it is spreading.

Another hour passed, and I had finally done away with the most dangerous work; it took me more time than I had thought, but I finally finished. There is still quite a lot of healing I have to do, but it would not even be quarter stressful as that complicated part had been.

The slightest mistake, and I would have called the wrath of the world on the Elder Lord.

Forty-two minutes later, I finally stopped and slumped back on the chair once again, tired, but there was a relieved smile on my face.

I have silenced the curse and even done some extensive healing, but despite that, his condition is quite delicate. He had been injured his very core; his vitality had been damaged and his soul injured; while I have cast healing on him and used resources without holding back, it would still take him two to three days to recover fully.

Even to join the battle, he will need to rest for at least one and a half days.

"It did not matter; it is already a miracle that you have been able to save the Elder Lords' life, Lord Zaar," said Lord Whitmore as I conveyed the condition of the Elder Lord to him.

I nodded and closed my eyes; soon, I was in my core, watching the battles with my badge's connections to the pyramid while my clones worked.

I had thought the two clones would be enough for me for things I will require at this level; I had planned to keep one always on the inheritance while the other for the stuff that came in, but after I walked out of the thing, my clones have immediately got busy into a curse.

I want to finish this curse business as soon as possible and start work on my Inheritance, which I felt imperative after what I have experienced since I came out.

Especially the curse, which had scared the hell out of me.

I need to be at Grand Lord's class as soon as possible, as an even bigger danger exists, we are not seeing it, but it has made its presence abundantly clear.

For something of that power, wiping any resistance from us is easy as breathing; the only reason we are safe is due to the limit, but one thing I have learned through my experiences, is that there are ways into anything, and the books have already told me, with enough preparations and desperation, one could pass the limit too.

I shook my head of the thoughts; we need to think about the current dangers before thinking about that.

I looked at the battles, and there was no change; no new Grand Lord had popped out of the thing, and the old snake still hadn't shown itself despite every Grand Lord fighting.

I have no doubt that it will, and this time it will be better prepared to deal with me, so I also need to be better prepared to deal with it. I shouldn't be overconfident; the old bastard like it has hundreds of its arsenal, and who knows, one of them may be the bane me of mine.

The moment the bastard thinks it found that it will make itself appear.

Seconds passed and turned into minutes, and soon an hour passed. Things remained unchanged; the only thing that changed was the battles, which became even more intense.

Both sides are trying to kill each other, using their most powerful moves, but they are getting either countered or defended. It is very hard for the Grand Lord with the sheer number of abilities they possess, and unless someone possesses a great difference in power, at struck right at with great luck, there is no chance they will be able to kill the Grand Lord.

I am only able to do this because of the rule-bending power and the inheritance I have designed to use that power with maximum efficiency.

"Lord Zaar, the old snake, had appeared," informed Lord Whitmore suddenly, with some hesitation in his voice; a moment later, I understood the hesitation as I saw the old snake alone, away from all the battles.

"I will be fine," I said as I got up, and teleportation formation materialized beneath my feet, and the next second, I disappeared from the Pyramid.
