"Your six arrows are quite useful," I said as I took out the last arrow from the eye of the Ratman. It had taken us less than five minutes to beat, and now it was nearly dead, and I could not do anything as I removed the arrows from its eyes.
"Without you entertaining it, I wouldn't be able to take a shot at its eyes," she said. To that, I smiled and handed her the arrows and sat on the boulder, not before placing a thick cloth on it.
Everything is hot here, and if I dared to sit on the boulder, it would cook my ass, and I don't want that. I am already quite yucky with blood and other stuff and just want to shower up, but I will have to wait for a little reward before I reach its backpack and shower.
Though my mood was not as bad early when I had removed the arrows from the Apeman's eyes. From the Ratman, I have got a good weapon, the longsword.
The halberd is a good weapon, but the sword would be better, especially the long sword, given the abilities of the weapon here, which could cut through anything. So, weapons with large blades are the best choice in this place.

"Take it," said Rachel, and I did not hesitate; I removed my shoes and began to ware them, careful to not let hot sand touch my feet. It is very hot; if my feet stay on it for too long, it will burn them.
Soon, I finished wearing the shoes, and immediately their information appeared in my mind putting a bright smile on my face.
There is no name for these shoes, so I named them the force shoes; what they do is really simple. They increse the force of my jump to double and absorb half a force when jumping, which means through them, I could jump up twice a distance and jump down from the Grimms without breaking my bones.
"They are good, I assume?" she asked, "Very much," I replied; they will help me a lot in my battle against the Grimms.
About ten minutes, we reached the backpack of the Grimms, where I had done the quick but thorough scrub under the water from the Grimms bottle.
A few minutes after that, we resumed our travel.
A few hours passed, and the sky began to darken; after the ratman, we did not come across any enemies, which was a kind of relief. Fighting the Grimm here comes with immense danger; it only needs to land a single move to kill us, and no defensive move or any other magical thing to save us.
"The moon is making things quite difficult," said Rachel as it again hit the clouds, clouding the whole in the darkness.
The sky is cloudy, dawning not only on the sky but also on the stars, which makes it difficult to see around. While we have a flashlight, it is not enough. We cant use it now, especially when we are so close to the point where our enemies will notice us easily.
"It is fine; I don't think we will have any problem reaching the day-point; we are very close to it," I said. If my calculation is right, then we will be able to reach it in an hour.
"Still, if it keeps hiding, it will make us late," she said, looking at the moon hidden in the clouds.
I did not say anything but led her quietly; we would not get lost, I am confident of it, even when we could not see much in this utter darkness.
The map this place has provided is accurate to minute detail, and I have seen the big map of Grimm, and it had been copied in my core. My clone had done some simple calculations, and with it, even without the moon, if I simply followed the directions provided by my clone, I would reach my destination.
Hun!
We were walking when suddenly, Rachel placed a hand in front of me and slowly ducked down. I did not question her and slowly ducked down.
"I am hearing something," She whispered in my ear; I nodded and stayed down while straining my ears to hear what she was hearing.
For a couple of seconds, I did not hear anything before finally, I heard something. It took me a couple of seconds more to hear what it was; it was the sound of steps and its sounds of talking, and it belonged to Grimms, three of them, to be exact.
They are walking very close to us, barely two hundred meters of distance between us, which is considered a personal range of powerhouses, and it is extremly hard to enter inside that range without being detected by them.
We pressed ourselves against the cold sand and watched with bated breaths as the three Grimms walked without a care in the world. They are talking in loud voices, flashing a huge flashlight on the map around as they move.
Thankfully, we were hidden behind the dune that obstructed the lights they flashed; still, my heart couldn't help but beat faster when a light flashed over the dune.
The three Grimms are too much for us; even two are more in this dark light. Unlike Grimms, who could survive from attack, they only need a single attack to kill us, and in such a dark environment, they have the advantage, as they would be able to kill us, even if they hit up by accident.
We remained hidden for nearly ten minutes till we could not hear their sounds anymore; only then we dared to come out.
"How the mighty had fallen," said Rachel as she looked at me, and all I could be a smile.
If it had been outside, I would not have hidden like this; even if those three had been a quasi Grand Lord, I would have still not hidden. I had full confidence to fight them, and if things got hard, there were the shields that could protect me, even in any danger.
With such a close shave with Grimms, we have become even more careful and even slowed down our paces. It is fine if we reach our destinate late, but we need to reach it safely.
Half an hour passed, and we stopped as we could see the point at a distance; it was glowing brightly enough that anyone could see it from a distance.
We began to move toward it, but within a few minutes, we had to stop and hide as Grimm walked not far away from us. It is not just the Grimms we encountered but humans; we have encountered a group of four humans, the first one in this place.
We did not move to greet them; there was no hurry; we would meet them soon enough since we were going to the same place.
