Chapter 2614: Clash Of Grand Lords I

"You Batard!"

The mighty Grand Lord roared behind me, and I sensed a killing intent so vast that it had threatened to break my mind despite the immunity I have.

I have never sensed such mighty killing intent; it is so vast and dense that it overwhelmed me in an instant but also made me understand so many things at once that my killing rule advanced in an instant and which helped me get out of the sanguine world, I had found myself in.

I had thought the overwhelming killing intent was worse; the Grimm Grand Lord wanted to break my mind, but I was wrong. It had something more planned for me, something against which I have no chance of defense; an attack.

Behind me, I saw a huge scaly green claw made of energy coming at me; the claw was huge, and it was over a hundred meters long, coming at me with a speed that I would not outrun if I had burned all the essence in my body, for the one final burst.

"We should have killed you last time; it was a mistake on our part, which I will correct now," said the all-encompassing voice behind me as the claw moved closer and closer to me.

Fear and horror in my heart reached the point that I could not even think, but still, I reacted. This attack is going to kill me if landed on me, and I don't want to die while frozen in fear; it would be the great shame of my life if I died like that.

So, I gathered my will to resist this mountainous fear in my heart and pushed; at first, I was barely able to twitch my body, but soon I was able to shake before slowly taking a step ahead. Seeing that, a small smile couldn't help but appear on my face.

The moment I took the step, the giant claw appeared behind me and began to envelop me as if wanting to crush me inside the fist.

It is really a gruesome way to die, but I did not have a choice considering the vast difference in strength that exists between us.

KRRRRRR…

Soon, the gigantic hand covered me and was bout to crush me to a pulp when suddenly it stopped in its tracks, by something invisible which became visible as it had stopped the attack, and when I looked at what had stopped it, I couldn't help but shock.

In shock, I did not even notice that the aura of the Grand Lord enveloping me had also disappeared, releasing my thoughts and body from its grip.

"Lord of Glass! How can you be alive? We have killed you," asked the voice in shock; it was so shocking that it had ended up revealing itself. It is Chagr of Amethyst, a Grand Lord from the Amethyst Scale Crockman tribe, looking at the empty spot with deep shock.

It is not the only one who is shocked; every human aside from the Grand Commander is shocked seeing those mirrors.

Only those who practiced the grand art Fortress Of Mirrors could bring out these mirrors and see how powerful the attack was; only the Lord of Glass could have stopped it, but the lord of glass is dead, only his soul is alive, and he could not cast such powerful attack.

Even with the aid of a ring, he would not be able to cast such a powerful attack, while the other known person who had comprehended the Fortress Of Glass did not have such powerful comprehension.

Lady Vivian's comprehension in the Fortress Of Mirrors is a step away from the Grand Lord class, and the mirrors are definitely in the Grand Lord class; otherwise, they wouldn't have been able to stop this powerful attack.

"Lord of Glass is just a title; if one died, then another shall take their place," said the familiar voice, and Lady Vivian revealed herself.

'A Grand Lord,' I said in shock.

Lady Vivian is not hiding her aura, and it is not of the Grand Lord; it is not of the High Grandmaster either. It is something in between, but it does not matter, as when it comes to a host of grand arts, the only thing matters is their comprehension of the grand art.

It seemed like Lady Vivian's comprehension of Fortress Of Mirrors had broken through the Grand Lord class.

Still, it is hard to believe, as just five days ago, her comprehension was at the edge of Grand Lord, and now it is at the Grand Lord. No matter how much I thought, I just couldn't wrap my brain around it.

"It is a good thing; you have revealed yourself, the new lord of the glass. I will kill you just like I killed the last lord of glass, and then, I massacre all the humans here, including your sister," It said, and it looked at me with a warning, which made me shudder on my spot.

Its intentions are clear; it is warning me against doing anything to the Apeman; unfortunately for it, the threat of enemies doesn't work on me.

So, under its threatening glare, I stretched my lips with all my willpower and put up a smile, and at that very moment, Apeman had disappeared, and it was not the only one that had disappeared; a crimson-horned Ratman fighting against Grandmaster Muske had also disappeared.

"You Wretched Human; I Will Kill You!" Roared the Grand Lord Crockman; its raging roar had such power that it had nearly fainted me, but the very next moment, I fainted for a second when I saw its fury.

Scaled hands like the one still covering me began to materialize, and soon their numbers reached thousands; they had covered the whole sky that not even stars above could be seen.

A couple of seconds later, the hands stopped appearing, but numbers had already reached a whopping ten thousand. It is clear that it did not want to target me alone but all the Grandmasters and High-Grandmasters, and it chose the most visible way to show its might.

"Die, Humans!"

It shouted, and all the hands came toward us, bearing the aura that nobody would be able to or even defend, including the Grand Commander; the only one who could stand against it was Lady Vivian.

"You should keep your focus on me, or you will end up losing your life before you even know it," said Lady Vivian and moved her fingers, and the mirrors materialized between us and the attack.

These mirrors are different compared to the mirror that is protecting me; these new mirrors looked like they were made of molten glass. I feel like if I moved my hand through them, I could scoop some of the glass.

I did not have much time to think about whether the mirrors would be able to defend against such a mighty attack as the giant scaly hand reached the mirrors and moved to crush them.

Hun!

Seeing the momentum of the Grimm Grand Lords' attack, I thought these thousands of hands would splatter the liquid glass mirrors before coming at us, but instead, something shocking happened.

These gigantic scary hands begin to seep inside the mirrors as they touch them without making the slightest sound or producing any clashing aura.

It shocked all of us, including the Grand Lord of Grimms. Even it didn't seem to expect something like this would happen to its attack.
