Chapter 2563: Eilidh
I watched the breakthrough for a few minutes before I flew toward the group of Master who was watching over everything, mainly humans who were just liberated.
The breakthrough of the Grandmaster Atkins is still going, and it will be a little slow; the ever essence is good in many things, but it did not work fast, which is good, seeing how comprehensive its uses are.
"Lord Zaar," the Masters greeted and bowed as I appeared in front of them. "Is everything well? How are these people reacting?" I asked.
Before we have left, we have left behind the strict instruction, and one that is most important that be gentle if they create trouble. As long as they do not do anything to harm, they will also not do anything, no matter how frustrating it might come to be.
"No, Lord Zaar, there was no problem; aside from asking us a few questions, they have been quiet," replied Johanson.
The answer is not surprising; these people are still reeling from the shock of what had happened. A day or two would not be enough to process such a drastic change; we have even requested for the shrinks; their help would invaluable to these pools.
Tap!
"Good, I want…." I gave him some instructions, and hearing that, he seemed surprised, nodded, and flew down toward the liberated humans while I tapped on the ground.
Green and silver energy burst out from my leg and began to spread around, and a minute later, a small but beautiful gazebo with silvery walls and a green plant design appeared in the air.
The construct has surprised those watching, but creating such things is not big a thing for a High Grandmaster.
We have the energy and the control needed to create such things; any talented person of the Tyrant class could achieve this feat, but the detailed work could be done by someone with immense control, which only High Grandmasters have.
The gazebo is small but not that small; ten to fifteen people could easily sit inside it. I sat on the head chair and waited for my guest to arrive.
Soon Johanson came back, and with him, he brought a young woman with him. "Thank you, Johanson," I said; he understood the cue and left the room with the bow.
"Please take a seat," I offered to the young woman who was staring at me. It took a while before she registered my words and opened her mouth to speak.
"Have the humans have truly not been defeated by the Grimms?" she asked in a thick accent, which was faintly similar to Grimms. Still, one could easily tell it is from the human and not from the Grimm Monster.
Her voice is soft, but I could feel the steel in it; if she spoke, the whole world became silent. My mother has this quality, which I had very much wished to inherit, but was not so lucky. Though, I still have the ability to make the people silent with my words.
I did not immediately answer the question, instead looked directly into her eyes and smiled.
"Why, do you not believe us?" I asked, and to that, she remained silent. Seeing that smile on my face had brightened up even more.
"No, we have never been fully defeated by the Grimm ever," I replied. "We have come close to that several times and nearly defeated the Grimms one time, but alas, they had that troublesome thing, though it did give us a few centuries of peace, before Grimms came at us at force again," I added.
She did not say anything hearing that; instead silently took a seat in front of me.
"What do you want from me?" She asked a minute, finally later. "We will talk about that later, but first, we should talk about you," I said to her, and she seemed a little surprised by that, but she instantly schooled her emotions as if that flickr had never appeared.
Once again, silence descended between us, though it was not uncomfortable, no to me, at least.
"We should start by ourselves; I am Micheal Zaar," I said, "98605 Eilidh," She replied. They don't have surnames; the Grimms give each human a number, like a product. The name they have is not even official; only the number is.
"What is your level?" She asked when I was about to ask her another question; "I am a High Grandmaster," I replied with a smile, and I could see her widening in surprise. She quickly tried to control her emotions, but it still took her time.
"You are very powerful. Are there more High Grandmaster among the humans than you three?" She asked slowly; I could feel unsureness and hopefulness in her question.
"Yes, we have more; we have a few more that are a level above them and a handful to true limit powerhouses who are out aegis against the shield," I replied.
What I told her is not common knowledge, but it is not a secret either; people with enough access and power know these things.
She did not react as much as the last time, but I could see a faint reaction before it hid deep in her eyes. This information is earthshaking for someone like her, who had lived her whole life believing the humans were being defeated.
She stayed silent for more than a minute, and I did not say anything, let her digest what she had just heard.
"What do you want from me?" She asked.
Finally, her eyes became clear when she asked the question. There was no shock or confusion have remained in her eyes.
"What I want is you," I said and could see her eyes becoming guarded instantly, which again made me smile, even when I did not want to.
"Don't misunderstand me miss Eilidh," I said, seeing the guarded look appear on her, which was made worse by my smile.
"What I mean to say is I am interested in your constitution, more so in your tenacity; not everyone has a will to do what you have done with your constitution," I added with a smile.
