Monarch of Darkness, Arsene

Chapter 1110 Lucifer - Fallen Heaven

"Will you go check?" Amara asked, star gazing alongside me.

"I hate going to the Heavens," I replied with unmasked contempt.

"But your curious, who is cleaning House? All those falling are those that corrupted themselves with Raziel Law of Concordance."

"True." came my reply. "But… I'd like to wait until my brethren all fall."

"Brethren? I swear you, angels, truly disgust me." Amara addressed with scorn in her voice. "You still see them as a family? Lucifer… are you still a fool? Do you still not understand? Your real family is the Fallen, the Demons, and the Devils."

"Silence!" I demanded.

"You think me a woman that will hold her tongue?" She replied, snorting as she stood to her feet. She stood over me, beneath this endless winter, with eyes burning a deep shade of red. "Forget your former ties. So many of your fellow Fallen already have."

"Do not test me, Amara. You'll lose." I warned, narrowing my eyes as the world stilled: The fallen stars froze, the winds and the moonlight hitting against my flesh. All stood frozen to my will.

Amara, however, did not seem phased, much less impressed. "You still seek some form of forgiveness, don't you? You know what you are, Lucifer? You're a whore who keeps spreading her legs because she doesn't know what else to do."

"Woman…" I began.

"No! You will listen because I'm tired of it! You all are not a family! You are not. We are family! I am your family! It's I who stands by your side every single day. It is I who holds you when you are down or on the verge of falling into madness. It's I who…."

"Enough." I barked, storming to my feet with a sullen expression. "Fucking devils. Your kind surely knows how to get under someone's skin."

"You bet your ass I do," Amara remarked with a cheeky grin. "But you know what I'm saying is correct. You've been debating this shit for multiple Hell Cycles. Possibly longer."

"I lost to my brother. I lost my army. I lost everything." I said to her, allowing the flow of time to resume. "I lost it all. For a long time, I was angry, vengeful even. But there is peace now."

"My god, how could the Mother of Demons deal with this shit? No wonder Mephisto killed her. She was making you a bitch."

Snatching me by the head, blood gushed from my nose, withering all life within a billion parsecs, as Amara's head-butted me in the face shattering my nose, to my surprise.

"WHAT THE FUCK!!!"

Licking the blood off her forehead, Amara sneered and flicked me off. "Fuck peace! Your Lucifer Morningstar! Have you been so broken? That you want to stand in the background? Playing with children like a woman at home? Why don't we get little jin so he can suck at your tit? Is your pussy also hurting too?"

… Fuck… she's mad. God, I hate angry Amara.

"You think your first wife will accept this husk you've grown into? Where the fuck is that Lord of Temptation that smitten her off her feet?"

Mending my broken nose and blood, I stood frozen as her words stabbed deep into my heart. Ash filled my mouth, bringing about a shame I'd not felt since the Fall.

"The Angels aren't your family. No matter how much you consider, them to be? Aurelia, your daughter, is a Nephilim." She claimed. " That is the closes you'll ever be to an angel. And she's not even one."

Feeling exposed for a long wild, as the stars in the skies struck against the surface of Iluthath, I teleported.

Appearing at the Silver Gates of Heaven, the beautiful image of blood stretched over my eyes like a painting on a canvas. To angels stood gripping their throats as blood pooled over the clouds upon which we stood.

"Lucifer!" A dark voice called to me as he emerged, blazing brighter than light; a being of seraphic might emerged with long golden hair mirroring my own. Strapped in golden armor with the crest of a sun and a lion, Uriel stood with a blade pointed at me.

"You can't be here. You were banished."

"We've never committed genocide," I told him, unphased by his blazing sword. I walked passed him. "Not to our brothers and sisters. There was not even a tribunal of judgment."

Uriel lowered his blade. "What do you think happened to the Fallen? What do you think we did to the stragglers that begged for a second chance? Although, look who I'm talking to. How many of our brothers and sister did you kill?"

Standing wordlessly, I merely watched as smoke seemed to cloud the heavens alongside the scent of blood.

"Does it bring back memories?" Uriel asked grimly, assuming the attack stance. His blade poised for combat as he smiled. "Lucifer… Times are changing. And with it. So too must we."

"Seems like Amara was right… Mephisto to for what he did." I mused, sucking a dry breath as evil began to seeth from my pores. A regalness I had kept hidden these past few cycles emerged as I slid my gaze to Uriel.

"Attack me… And I'll kill you." I warned, heading deeper into the Seven Realms of Heaven.

Journeying, I watched as bodies lined the streets by the hundreds piling up one after the other as shouts and screams filled my ears. I moved with indifference pressing against me, recalling memories of a few sights from this false realm.

'Mephisto really mirrored it all, didn't he." I said to myself, sensing the killing intent spiking the further I wandered through this seemingly familiar yet foreign land.

Uriel had seemed to be the only Arch-Angel present, and he wasn't a threat. Not to me, at least. My brother was, without a doubt, powerful. More so than most, but never once has he managed to harm me, much less land a winning blow against me. And while I'm sure he's grown in power. So too, have I, and not by a little.

Listening to my name whispered with scorn and hate. I stepped thew the wet streets, recalling bodies of angels I tallied up during the war.

I could still taste it.

"Father." A calm voice called as I turned to the woman who mirrored my wife so much it hurt.

"Aurelia."

"Father… We failed last time, didn't we," she said with a smile that seemed as dark as it was back then.

"Zariel was struck down by the Father, taking the hit for your failure," I recalled clenching my fist, having never thought of myself ever failing again.

"Well, Father… I still want it." Aurelia said with a hungry look in her eye. "And this time. It is going to be on my terms. The Throne of God will be mine to sit upon."

Thunder crackled like an exploding star at the mere blasphemy of her words, sending ripples through this heaven as Aurelia stared at me with her Golden eyes. " I've already issued my challenge to your Father… And he has accepted. I want you to guide me. I want you to guide me, Little Jin, and Little Crowe."

"A…Aurelia…' i whispered, overwhelmed by the horror and pride seeping into my soul.

"Do we have a deal?"
