“Kill them all!!”

Saga was already a step too late by the time he arrived, but was just in time to catch a glimpse of the Bandit retrieving her dagger from Mu’s body—quickly taking one of his dropped Dark Gold Equipment and ran like the wind. The Wasteland Ruins Cannibal summoned by Mu was short-lived as it disappeared along with its owner’s death filled with regret.

Although Saga was glad that Mu died, but he still had to act as if he was filled with grief and indignation, bellowing with rage half-heartedly. Next, he led his party of two Elementalists, one Radiant Priest and one Bowmaster to engage with Qin Ruo.

However they suddenly paused their advance...

Although Qin Ruo’s Barrier had been broken, he showed no signs of fear or worry. Instead he was smiling strangely at them and right under their noses he began to fade and vanish into thin air! This was shocking for Saga and his party as they had never heard of such a skill! They had all unconsciously stopped advancing!

Even the Bowmaster in the party was flabbergasted as he gulped nervously. Looking around them, Qin Ruo had disappeared without a trace right under their noses.

The two Elementalists after being informed by the Bowmaster nervously took out their AoE Magic Scrolls and prepared for battle. They cautiously paused and scanned every corner of their surrounding, unwilling to advance another step or rashly use their limited AoE Attack Magic Scrolls.

Finally...

Saga and his party helplessly watched as Slayer’s Heart and Gold Digger Babe disappeared from the place where Qin Ruo was... All that was left were the five corpses of the Twelve Zodiacs clan members including Mu—it was as if they were being mocked by their inability to fight.

Saga’s mouth twitched in anger as he exchanged glances with the rest of his party. From the looks on their faces, they were all astonished and worried by the strange scene before them...

They were not Mu—none of them had the skill Elemental Perception: Earth. Now even their Bowmaster was useless as they could find them—what else could they do?

Who knows where the Tier 4 Aquamancer Qin Ruo was hiding right now. None of them were brave enough to chase or make a move even if they wanted to...

For a moment, time stood still as the atmosphere was getting stranger! The five of them stood still back to back as if they were in a landmine territory, cautiously scanning their surroundings—caught in a dilemma!

At the next moment, their second team of backup arrived...

Camus!

Level 49 Steel Berserker. Being average height with a well-proportioned body and fully clad in a set of heavy armor, he looked like a sturdy steel fortress—magnificent and mighty. Although his equipment looked heavily bloated, Camus moved more swiftly than an average person rushing over to them with a Bowmaster, Bandit, and two Elementalists.

This man who was the seventh in command of Twelve Zodiacs was comparable in strength with Saga—his reputation in the clan also did not pale in comparison to Saga. He was usually close to Mu, but their distance was a bit far earlier as they were delayed by several Malevolent Archdemons, causing them to be unable to reach here in time.

After rushing to the battlefield with a strange atmosphere, Camus instantly noticed Mu’s corpse guarded by Saga’s party. His pupils dilated as a surge of killing intent could be seen from his eyes.

“Bastards!”

Next, Camus retrieved from a long weapon from his backpack with both ends similar to a halberd or a spear and grimly asked Saga’s party, “Which direction did they go?”

The four people in Saga’s party were overwhelmed by his cold demeanor and gaze filled with killing intent as they all pointed together.

“Then what are you all waiting for? Why haven’t you revived Mu?” Asking furiously, Camus was not placing his attention at the only Radiant Priest in the party but at Saga as he glared at him!

Saga grunted as he was annoyed by the questioning tone in voice and chose to ignore him instead.

Just as Camus gripped his weapon tightly, a voice filled with hesitation spoke, “Leader Camus, now is not the right time—that Tier 4 Aquamancer is still nearby but invisible.”

“Invisible?”

Camus’s rage began to subside as he stopped staring at Saga and began to question each of them about what had just happened. As he learned more of what happened, he had bewildered look on his face.

“When did Aquamancers have such an ability? What skill is that?”

Camus glared at them heavily—he was furious and irritated at the same time. If he was placed in their situation at that time, it was true that it was not feasible to revive Mu. But right now...

Camus looked at Saga.

As the latter scanned their surroundings, nothing unusual could be seen but a strange atmosphere was felt around the jungle. He then looked back at Camus.

“Mu has lost his equipment, it’s not convenient to revive him immediately.”

“Without him, we won’t be able to find the Tier 4 Aquamancer. That’s what Mu said.”

Saga furrowed his brows. Without saying a word—he gave a meaningful look at the only Radiant Priest in the party and stepped forward afterward, standing side by side with Camus guarding Mu’s corpse.

While the Radiant Priest on the other hand was guarded by the everyone else, he closed his eyes and purple spirits began to rise and was absorbed into Mu’s body—entering the resurrection process...

The moves made by Twelve Zodiacs instantly made Qin Ruo who was observing them in the dark felt uneasy.

The reason Qin Ruo stayed and hid behind after he activated Aquamorph was that the ten people currently on the battlefield were not able to detect him in his current Aquamorph state.

Without a doubt, the move made by Sage and Camus was forcing Qin Ruo to decide whether to retreat immediately or take action against them—before Mu was revived, cancel the Radiant Priest’s Resurrection Skill!

Retreat seemed to be the best choice at the moment because they had already gained seven Gold Equipment and one Dark Gold Equipment from Twelve Zodiacs, there was nothing to lose even if he left now, since they had earned a lot yesterday. However today they only managed to get a few equipment and was driven away by them from the Mythical Battlefield which made them feel unsatisfied.

If he stayed though...

To be honest every time he laid his eyes on Steel Berserker Camus, Qin Ruo was troubled—Steel Berserker was the Class which focused the most on defense out of the three Berserker Classes. It was also one of the Classes most players would not dare to provoke.

The reason was that the Berserk effect of a Steel Berserker had the effect to increase resistance greatly. Regardless of the attack one received—whether the skills’ additional effect was a Physical or Magic Attack, the probability of it affecting a Steel Berserker was extremely low.

Especially for some players who were able to unleash the full potential of the Steel Berserker Class, normal players could not even make a move on them. Fighting against them was like chewing on metal—impossible to be eaten. As long they had enough potions, they could practically handle anything and could even play some frightening games when they had the chance.

Camus who was fully equipped with armor was obviously the latter—a champion who could utilize the Steel Berserkers’ special characteristic. Qin Ruo felt like he was facing a steel fortress every time he looked at him —uncertain of how he should fight him.

Going up against Camus and Saga and the other eight Twelve Zodiacs elites...’ Qin Ruo thought deeply while gripping tightly his Frostburst Staff—he was out of ideas. He did not know if the enemy still had more backup—even the current party of players would be more than enough to handle them. Even if he cooperated with Slayer’s Heart, he still had no confidence to escape under their noses intact.

However, after being compelled by Saga and Camus, Qin Ruo had no choice but to think deeply within a short time how to stop them from resurrecting Mu.

While Qin Ruo was deep in thought, a familiar silhouette appeared within his Perception range.

Slayer’s Heart voice was heard next, “The duration of Movement Speed Potion and Advanced Vitality Potion are almost ending. Give me two seconds—I will tear down their defenses and restrain the two Field Commanders. You and Gold Digger Babe provide support for me.”

Qin Ruo was stunned!

Before he had the chance to say anything to Slayer’s Heart, Slayer’s Heart had already rushed out from the tree he was hiding behind and activated his Berserk. It was as if it was a GTR which skidded off track was rushing towards them. As Saga and Camus who was startled at the turn of events, a crimson shadow charged toward the Twelve Zodiacs!

“Here he comes!”

Once the Steel Berserker Camus saw who it was, he shouted to alert the team, activated his Berserk mode, and rushed forward with his strange weapon to go against him...

Saga’s reaction was also quick. Once he noticed Slayer’s Heart, his eyes immediately turned red and Fire Dragon Combat Aura was activated.

If it was not for Camus reminder at that crucial moment for them to protect Mu and stay alert for the Aquamancer’s (Qin Ruo) ambush, Saga would have charged together with Camus.

It was however impossible for Qin Ruo to allow Camus the chance to trap Slayer’s Heart. Just as he charged forward several meters, he rammed into a Frostrampart cast instantly in front of him. Its reinforced freezing effect was so strong even Camus could not stand its frostiness—the momentum he built came to a halt...

With that split second chance, Slayer’s Heart slipped passed him with a Charge like a crimson shadow, dodging the spells from the Elementalists—charging toward his old enemy Saga!

Sparks were flown in the air as they exchanged looks!
