The moment Lei Zhen instructed Candice to fire her spell, she did it without any hesitation.

BAM!

The spell landed in the direction that Lei Zhen had pointed out, and soon enough, mechanical parts started to drop to the ground.

The mechanical parts were part of the trap mechanism and Candice destroyed the exterior, preventing the trap from activating.

"Master, where else do I fire my spell?" Candice regulated her mana and then asked Lei Zhen for further instruction.

"Currently, not now. Those are the only traps I have detected so far, but we should remain cautious." Lei Zhen deactivated his Omnivision and said. The traps were laid in the open for them to see, but it was still difficult for them to realize it with their naked eyes.

Thus, it goes to show that the illuminated dungeon was proven to be more harmful than good to them.

The light helped camouflaged the trap placement and made it more deadlier for the players to explore properly.

While this was happening, Bella began casting a buff to everyone's present, increasing their stats and mana points.

In addition to that, she also gave everyone a barrier, so that even if they were to be hit by a trap or a monster, they wouldn't take much damage.

"Bella might be low-level, but she's an awesome healer and supporter. Without her, I would have died a lot of times already." Jessica said proudly.

"It sure is nice to have a healer in the party." Lei Zhen nodded his head and agreed. It was reassuring for him as well since he had never gotten to work with a healer-type player before.

Hence, he never knew things would have been so much easier if he had gotten the correct class player to assist him.

With the barrier cast by Bella, Lei Zhen and the rest of the group continued to proceed forward easily. Occasionally, there would be traps that are too hidden and activated, sending poisonous arrows in their direction.

Luckily, the barrier was able to withstand the poisonous arrows and deflect them enough for their group to react in time.

"Tsk, these Cleanos are really a pain." Lei Zhen clicked his tongue as he cast Rupture around them, preventing the Cleanos from sneak attacks.

The Cleanos weren't big in size and were in fact the size of a tiny rat, making it extremely hard to detect them. To make matters worse, their speed was insane as well, causing them to be unable to hit them accurately.

Despite their effort in protecting themselves, some Cleanos were able to penetrate their defense and deal damage to them.

Lei Zhen was no exception to this as he took about four to six hits by now.

As for Bella, she was chugging down mana potions and showed an intoxicated look, almost as if the mana potions were alcohol.

"Bella, keep up the good work," Jessica gave her a thumbs up. "Our lives are up to you to defend!"

Bella nodded her head and continued to shield the group from danger.ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom

Meanwhile, Candice was the only excited one in the dungeon as she kept blasting her powerful spell everywhere.

The walls in the dungeon were extremely sturdy, so she didn't even need to worry about destroying the concrete that would cause them to be squashed by the concrete.

"Master, I got another Cleanos that are trying to lurk around," Candice said excitedly.

"Yes, continue up with the hard work. I'll just cast Decaying Poison to corrode the enemies." Lei Zhen reacted like Jessica and gave her a thumbs up.

Although he might not be able to spot these Cleanos and other enemies, Decaying Poison was an AOE spell type, meaning so long as he cast it around them, the monsters would be hit if they stepped foot in it.

Thus, Lei Zhen was feeling proud of himself for not being a dead weight compared to Jessica, who continuously missed her spells at the swift Cleanos.

Time slowly passed by, and their group soon arrived at a staircase that led to the upper floor.

"Huh, why is it a staircase for upward and not downward?" Jessica pouted slightly when she thought about having to climb the stairs despite the adrenaline rush they had gotten previously.

"Aren't all dungeons underground?" She added.

"Let's not complain and just continue forward, Jessica. Our quest timer is still ticking down, and complaining wouldn't do much either." Bella, who was mostly quiet, finally said something to her.

pαndα,noνɐ1,сoМ She had been low on mana constantly and needed to refill it with mana potions, bulging her stomach slightly.

However, she didn't even voice any complaints and continued forward. The same thing goes for Candice who was using the most mana out of everyone here.

And if Candice, the carrier didn't complain at all, what right does Jessica have when you include the fact that she missed 9 out of 10 times of her magic spell?

"Why are you so mean to me?" Jessica showed a pitiful expression and glanced at Lei Zhen, seemingly hoping that he would sympathize with her situation.

Alas, she went to the wrong person for help.

"Bella is right. She and Candice are the ones that have been hard-working but haven't voiced a complaint. You should learn from these two and strive to improve yourself." Lei Zhen said emotionless and began to climb the stairs, ignoring the shocked expression of Jessica.

Candice shrugged her shoulders and readily followed Lei Zhen without inputting her opinions.

Meanwhile, Bella could only shake her head and pat Jessica's shoulder lightly before climbing the stairs as well, leaving a pitiful-looking Jessica behind.

'I just complain like any normal human would do after an exhaustive fight and journey. What did I do to deserve this when I'm acting completely human?' Jessica felt like crying as she stomped her foot and pitifully climbed the stairs, afraid of being left behind.

It was a shame that Jessica would painfully come to learn that this group of members aren't the same as the previous men that would simp for her.
