Alex didn't know that the Asgardians intended to come to Earth, but even if he did, he wasn't too worried about it.
Since Fortnite was announced, Alex noticed that the amount of daily Minecraft viewers was going up a lot, while there were people who put her livestreams on as if they were playing Fortnite, while actually dedicating their time to be able to analyze what was released from Fortnite in the trailer or Beta that other players were able to play.
Unfortunately, after the tutorial was completed, players could no longer play, so they would have to wait for the tournament to take place in a few hours.
[70,000,000 Games Sold - $1,400,000,000]
[Available Gaming Points: 5.800.000]
This large amount of news also made Minecraft sales also increase a lot in a short time. Every hour at least 1 million units were being sold.
And Alex's profits weren't limited to that, as he also received GP and money through players' VIPs and Private Servers, which despite being quite cheap for each player, but when everyone paid Alex's current income just from that it was already at 400 million dollars!
Adding to Minecraft sales revenue, Alex was already at almost 2 million.
Thinking about how he had been thrifty when buying things to leave the house the first time, worried that there wasn't enough GP for him to be able to develop the things he intended in the future, finally Alex became more relaxed, since imagining the income of Fortnite which was far superior to Minecraft, with the release of the game he could take it easy and make a lot more games at a time.
With Fortnite Hype growing, the time for the Tournament was finally upon us.
But despite the curiosity, even with just over an hour left for the tournament to start, there were still millions of people in Minecraft, as it started to be part of people's routine.
In front of what looked like a coffee shop in the center of Hypixel, a group of strange players were looking around as they walked on the street of Hypixel.
Because of this group's Skin, the surrounding players soon deduced that they were newbies, since among the group there were four players with Steve's Skin and one player with Alex's Skin.
The four were looking around with a lot of curiosity.
"Hey Thor, looks like we won't be able to participate in the tournament?" One of the Steves asked the Steve who looked like the leader.
The Steve with the name [Thor] above his head turned to the Steve he was talking to now, who had the name [Hogun] and replied a bit disappointed after hearing a random player's answer when they asked about the tournament they were playing. would happen. "It looks like we'll only be able to watch this current tournament, as all seats are full, but the next ones will apparently be public, so we'll be able to prove ourselves!"
Hearing Thor's explanation, the other Asgard warriors got excited again. "That's good, haha, I'm really excited for this! I'm glad the God King arranged this good stay for us, so we can enjoy this great training in the future!"
Thor nodded, also quite satisfied. Although his father placed a condition on him, which was that they must come back strong enough to deal with whatever opponents he chose, to prove that they were worthy of this training.
So when they weren't playing, they would have to practice together with the other disciples where they were.
Odin told Thor that this place was a training point for Midgardian sorcerers, where the leader of this place was a woman almost as powerful as he was, which caused Thor to be shocked, luckily the woman was very understanding about them wanting to experience the tournament that would happen, and said that their training would not take place until the next day.
So, with her help, they managed to buy Minecraft and get into this magical world to get acquainted.
Suddenly, Thor saw a window floating in front of him.
[Do you want to participate in the First Fortnite World Tournament Live Event?]
Thor saw that his companions also received this window and the five of them decided to click on the accept button.
As soon as their finger touched the button, they felt their surroundings change, changing from a place like a big city, to a gigantic stadium with the appearance of a Roman arena!
Thor looked to the side and saw that his companions had also been teleported with him, and besides them, there were thousands of people appearing around as well.
Some people were confused, while others were confident and just walked forward, confidently entering the stadium, which made the confused ones just follow these people as they looked around curiously.
Thor and his friends weren't afraid of anything, so they just walked on observing the surroundings with even more curiosity.
To their surprise, some people lined up in a line and bought some very interesting things.
"Hey buddy, what's that?" Volstagg curiously asked another player who was holding a few different items.
The player looked at the five rookies in front of him and felt that he could help these people.
"These things are souvenirs that people can buy! Here are some special t-shirts you can buy to wear to your characters in the future, different from the t-shirts that are available." He said as he pointed to the t-shirt he was wearing, then added. "These things here are just consumables, we don't really feel hungry in the Hypixel, but since we are going to watch the tournament, then it seems that we can also buy food and drinks to consume while watching, which makes it much more fun, not to mention it's pretty cheap, hehe."
Hearing this explanation, the eyes of the 5 lit up, since if there's one thing that Asgardians are good at, it's eating, and the only thing better than eating, is drinking!
"They have Mead?!" Volstagg asked excitedly.
The player smiled as he lifted his glass. "You can buy this self-filling cup. You only have to pay once and whenever you want it will be filled with whatever drink you want! Magical, right?! Though after the tournament the cup's magical effect will disappear."
The eyes of the 5 Asgardians shone even brighter. Could they drink any beverage with just a thought after buying this magic cup? This is amazing! Even if it was just during the tournament, for good drinkers like them, it wouldn't be a problem at all, they could easily drink several barrels of Mead, or even Odin's special wine, before the tournament was over!
"Let's go!" The excited Thor pulled his friends into line and they began to wait to buy their stuff too.
Despite Hypixel having a lot of technology, the attendants at these stores were all Villagers. There were dozens of Villagers serving the players, but there were still a lot of queues.
After a few minutes, the five Asgardians were heading towards the stadium seats while carrying several bags of food and a large purple cup that they couldn't stop drinking.
"Thor, coming to Midgard was the best decision we've ever made!" Sif said excitedly with a big foam mustache above her mouth, after drinking a delicious drink that she had tasted once from her father's hidden collection.
Even though that was over 500 years ago, it tasted just as good as she imagined, which made the Asgardians' admiration for the God who created this world even greater.
"Yes haha!" Volstagg said laughing as he popped two hot dogs in his mouth at the same time.
When they had to pay for these things, the Villager just asked if they wanted to use the credit card on the account to buy this, which they didn't even think about and said yes, despite not knowing what a credit card was.
Choosing a seat towards the middle of the stadium, the five Asgardians looked around and were in awe of how beautiful this Midgardian arena was.
Despite being made using the square shapes just like Minecraft, somehow the builder of this managed to represent incredible beauty, with Ender Dragons intertwining all around the stadium, while the seats were separated by biomes, and the Asgardians were currently sitting. in The End biome, where all the decoration was made with white marble, making everything look quite luxurious and with some purple plants that glowed from time to time as decoration, very beautiful.
Other places had different atmospheres, like the jungle biome was much greener, with the benches made from trees and all the wood and leaf decorations, which was also beautiful, just with a different aesthetic.
Each player managed to find a spot he was enchanted with, and every seat had good enough views to see the center of the arena well.
In the center of the arena, there was a large clock with a countdown to when the tournament would start, indicating that there were still 40 minutes left.
As the Asgardians were so welcoming as they ate and drank, other players around Thor and his party gathered to chat, sampling drinks from each other's glasses as they talked about where each drink came from.
When the players heard the Asgardians' stories of where they got their drinks, they initially thought it was a lie, but on second thought, they felt that it was much more fun to come up with a magical story for their favorite drink since they thought that's what it was. they were making, so they also started to invent everything, which made the atmosphere much livelier.
The Asgardians didn't know that the players were making up stories, and they really believed that a very sweet and tasty black drink was made by a great alchemist who mixed the acid of a powerful serpent with the poison of one of the most addictive plants in the world, creating this drink that despite being dangerous and deadly, was a favorite of the Midgardians.
When they tasted this drink, the Asgardians had to admit that this snake's acid was so powerful that they even felt their tongues tingling, although the sweet taste was also very good.
As people laughed and played in the stands, the last people finished getting into their seats, when the players looked around, they felt that there were at least 100,000 people in this stadium, and when they received messages from their friends, they found that there were yet several other stadiums.
For now, only Alex knew that there were currently 48 million divided into 500 stadiums!
If Alex only charged $1 per ticket, he could earn $50 million in a few seconds, but he preferred to adopt a different monetization choice.
Admission to participate was free, but consumables at the stadium were paid.
The infinite drink cup cost $1, the tray with infinite food also cost $1, while the championship exclusive T-shirt also cost $1.
All in all, in order to have the best experience and walk away with the goodies they wanted, players would only need to shell out $3, which players felt was very fair, causing approximately 95% of players to purchase all three items.
Altogether, with these three items Alex received 136 million dollars, or 684,000 GP, all in less than an hour!
"That's why so many companies invest in e-sports, it's very lucrative!" Alex got excited as he looked at the numbers going up.
There were still millions of people watching the livestream he opened on Twtich, which filmed everything around him with a drone controlled by an AI he developed for 40 GP to provide the best experience also for people who didn't have Minecraft or who couldn't join in the game.
When these people saw the Minecraft players at the stadium, Minecraft sales soared even more as even more people wanted to be a part of it in person.
The moment the timer showed that there were only 10 seconds left, the players in the stadiums started counting along with the timer.
