After the Khrusams dealt with the huge pieces of land thrown at them, they felt exhausted as controlling the Death Energy to defend is not an easy task.

The Corpse Furnace is normally used to attack their opponents and not to protect someone. However, they had no choice as their spaceships were about to be flattened by those mysterious islands...

They just appeared out of nowhere and when they detected it, they were already descending extremely fast... Perhaps, they were starting to have a feeling that the task given to them would not be easy.

If not for their quick response, they would've suffered horribly from that attack.

Soon, they felt a powerful presence approaching their stronghold.

They were still building their fortress after negotiating with the nearest powers governing this land but they were not unprepared for this.

Of course, they did not fully trust those natives as they still made preparations in case the local powers decided to just attack them…

However, as soon as they saw the attacker, they realized that he's completely different from the natives they communicated with a while ago.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

Their missile launchers, turrets, and cannons pointed at the figure that appeared above them…

Bam! Bam!

Wallace's Mana Shell was hit but it barely affected him… He continued his preparations and as soon as he was ready, he waved his hands…

The accumulating mana around the spaceships distorted! The power was unimaginable as if another Mana Calamity was about to be formed…

Crack! Crack! Crack!

Soon, the powerful Force Field protecting the aliens was destroyed! This is the Force Field that the Empire had relied on to defend against many alien races!

At last, they are now completely exposed…

Wallace rushed towards the spaceship as he was not planning on just sending external attacks. That is too troublesome and he'll spend a lot of his energy destroying their incredibly tough space alloy.

He wanted to get in and engage in them in close combat if possible…

Wallace had this idea after the representatives of the Seiji Alliance entered the Conqueror Starship… He wanted to take control of this spaceship. However, he knows that it will not be easy so he also prepared himself to destroy the said spaceship instead…

He rushed at the Conqueror Starship as he locked his eyes on the entrance that he had seen them use before…

He wanted to use his Void Phase to directly enter the spaceship but it seems that the presence of death energy and another unknown force was stopping him from entering it without any issues…

Perhaps, he tried forcing himself, he would be able to Phase enter the spaceship but he felt that it will unnecessarily injure his body… He's unsure about the level of damage he'll get so he didn't want to take the chance.

Bam!

The Khrusams outside can only watch as he sends a powerful strike to the Starship's entrance…

Because he was too close, the turrets and cannons were unable to do anything… They have sent out their Mech Frames but they were also unable to do much since they might damage the spaceship as well…

After creating a hole enough for him to enter…

He decided to rush towards the bridge of the spaceship…

'Good… No Terub Legion has appeared… I can do this…'

Then, Avalon started scanning the spaceship as they have now managed to enter… Their scanners that were previously being blocked have finally become active!

However, as soon as Wallace entered, the Imperial Army inside the spaceships made their move…

The hallway of the Conqueror Starship is huge. Wallace can see five members of the imperial army wearing their bio-armors as they approach him…

They have human-like figures but he knows that these people are mutated. Once they removed their armors, Wallace wouldn't be surprised if their skin and appearance greatly differ from an ordinary human.

He didn't waste his time as he planned on killing them quickly… They raised their guns and fired laser beams to his position…

Thud! Thud!

They missed their target as Wallace appeared in front of them… He gathered a bit of his Astral Energy at the tip of his finger and flick it to the soldier close to him…

Boom!

His body was blown away! If not for the Bio-Armor that was able to somehow bear the explosive Astral Energy, he would surely be torn to pieces by now…

Deep under the water, a human-like figure formed with mysterious energy can be seen looking around the city of the Deep Sea Creatures.

The city was built on what looks like a floating island but was covered with a bubble made of a mana array...

This means that humans can live in this place using the air being created by the array, as long as they are inside its effective range.

Aside from that, the city was unexpectedly human-like as it was similar to what the Celestial had seen in the southern continent… There are roads, tall buildings, and various stalls around…

Nevertheless, this is not the reason why the Celestial was curious about these creatures…

Apparently, he discovered something that made him stuck here…

It is the Deep Sea Creature's possession of a body of another Celestial Being… He can tell that the Celestial Being had lost their soul and thus, can be considered as dead.

However, its body is not dissipating or perhaps, will not dissipate at all if it was taken care of with a generous amount of energy.

The Celestial learned from Wallace that a body part of a Celestial can be used to make a forbidden mana artifact or what they call a Sealed Mana Artifact.

He wasn't too interested in this since he felt that a living Celestial is way stronger than a weapon made by a dead body.

However, after seeing the dead Celestial providing enormous power to the city, he felt that it would be fun to investigate the situation…

Apparently, he learned that the dead Celestial Being had been here for more than a century already…

It means that this one was probably one of Aeolia's first Celestial Beings that have decided to run away from the Northern Continent but couldn't wait until they learned how to leave the bindings of the region without harming them…

"I want to see your treasure vault."

"Y-yes… Please, follow me."

The Celestial communicated to the leader of the Sea Creatures… The leader has a body of a human with fish scales and with the head of an octopus…

Anyway, they already captured the magicians that Wallace was about to kill so they are quite thankful to the Celestial. It has been a long while since they were able to eat magicians with incredible powers…

"Right, why haven't you eaten the dead Celestial if you can gain strength from eating creatures…" The Celestial asked and unlike humans, the sea creatures don't seem to have any issues communicating using their minds.

"Ahh… We and our ancestors tried it before… However, even just a sip of the leaking energy would make us crazy… If those with weaker bodies tried doing it, they'll just explode completely. This is why we decided to seal the body with an array to stop the energy from leaking…"

The old sea creature answered without hiding anything.

"I see… You did well, I only managed to feel its presence after entering your city."

The Celestial praised them as he confirmed that the array they made was indeed effective.

Soon, the Celestial and head of this Sea City entered their precious Treasure Vault.

As expected, the treasure vault was filled with natural treasures that can only be found in the deep sea.

Slaine Allusia saw their chance after the aliens exhausted their powers to stop Wallace's surprise attack.

The golden-skinned aliens, or Khrusams, appear to be quite exhausted as they kneeled beside their Corpse Furnace.

Then, the Invader Spaceships sent our the Mech Frames as they seem to be worried that an ambush will follow.

They are right…

Slaine and the others just received a report from Avalon that the energy of the Khrusams should've been used up by now and they won't be able to help in the defense. This means that they have a higher chance of success now!

'Great move, Wallace. If we attacked first, there would be a higher casualty among the magicians… It's good that they've wasted their power on that floating island…'

Slaine mused as he signaled his men to rush at the Mech Frames that are outside guarding the spaceship's territory…

All the spaceships would be unable to use their large-scale cannons because of the Mech Frames' presence outside. At most, their turrets can be used carefully to assist the Mech Frames…

'We just have to worry about their Subspace Blaster and Psionic Pulse…'

Slaine thought as he leads five Sages with him. They are moving stealthily on the ground to get closer to the spaceship… They used their invisibility spell, haste spells, and other Mana Spell that would allow them to get near the spaceships unnoticed…

Beep!

It didn't take long before they reached the shield protecting the Conveyor Spaceships. They had to stop and do something about it.
