Wallace's mind quickly processed all the information he learned.

Aeolia was here to stop the mysterious Mana Calamity.

He didn't mention how did he find this place but based on his actions, it almost felt like he actually owns the place. The act of giving them this spacecraft was already something very notable.

The two guests have the impression that this person, Aeolia Schien, actually made this place. They were thinking that he was probably unable to take care of it for the past years that resulted to have those monsters live in here.

It may be the truth or probably close to it based on the clues they gathered.

The man was also aware of the mana corruption which was just new to the two. The Grand Arcanist wasn't knowledgeable about this as well considering that there was no such thing as mana corruption in the southern continent.

The most he could think of was the mana purity.

Before completing the Arcane Baptism, the limit of everyone's Mana purity was only 70% and after getting the Arcane Link, everyone would have 93% of purity with the exception of Wallace. The two were thinking that the mana corruption Aeolia was referring to was also a form of mana purity's abnormality.

"What's with the corrupted mana?"

Slaine directly asks as he was quite new to this information.

"Something similar to radiation, I guess... This tower was previously made to conduct various experiments. Unfortunately, it didn't last long because of several failed experiments."

They had the urge to get the complete story of this tower but they don't think that it was a significant thing to their current plans. They believed that they will know the complete history of this man when the time comes.

"Can we still do something about the people affected by corruption?"

"Hmmm... Let's see. If you find a location where there's a revitalization mana spring and has been existing for more than a hundred years, then try letting them take a bath in that place... It should help them remove the corruption..."

Wallace nodded and looked at his master for this...

Slaine didn't put him down as he nodded. He was aware that his apprentice doesn't have a way to get access to a Revitalization Mana Spring and his glance meant that he was relying on him about this. He was also acquainted with Percival so he didn't really mind helping.

He was also grateful that his apprentice gave him a copy of the prince's logbook so it was fine to fulfill some of his requests. Anyway, it shouldn't be too much trouble once they returned to the southern continent.

Now that it was settled, the only remaining concern was Slaine's request to get assistance with the Celestial Beings.

They were powerful sentient beings with vague origins.

Their way of life was also different considering that their bodies were different from humans. But it didn't mean that they could no longer cooperate with each other. Slaine believes that as long as their intention was genuine and for the better of this world, those powerful Celestials will understand and give them a hand once they were in trouble.

He would feel absolutely confident to face the invaders if they have at least one or two Celestials on their side.

"Sigh~ A Celestial really mentioned that you have to come and visit me?"

"Mhmm... That's right... I asked for their assistance but it seems that they were unable to help unless you've allowed them. At least, that is how I understood. Is there something wrong?"

"Haaa... So they really think that I can help, huh..."

Aeolia sighed before explaining everything to the two.

"That truth is that they wanted to leave this place as much as you do. That was their goal for many years already. Unfortunately, whenever they tried leaving the center of this land, their powers will gradually weaken and if they continued moving away, their powers will slowly vanish until there was nothing left."

Wallace and Slaine who had read the translated logbook immediately remembered the prince's notes about his human experimentations to create powerful soldiers to fight against the empire.

One of their weaknesses noted by the prince was their incapability to leave the northern continent. They only had a hunch about them before but Aeolia's words confirmed everything.

'Those soldiers... Then, they are referring to these Celestials? If that was the case, this prince was truly impressive.'

Apparently, for these beings to have their own intelligence can be good or bad and on the prince's case, it backfired on him as he had to escape this continent as he may have encountered the problematic ones.

"If they can't leave this place... Then they will not be able to help us..." Wallace muttered as he understood the situation.

"Sir Aeolia, do you have a method to bring them outside this land?"

"It will be tough...Anyway, listen carefully. This Northern Continent has already adapted to the Mana Calamity, this is what they need. If the Southern Continent became the same, then you can bring out those Celestials who were willing to help you..."

Aeolia fully discussed the significance of Mana Calamity to the Celestials and differentiated it to the Mana Calamity that he had to stop at all costs.

The one he was trying to stop was actually the strongest calamity in the continent and letting it out would destroy half of the continent and will also affect the balance of mana in the southern continent.

If this strongest mana calamity occured, the southern continent would be flooded by mana and it will destroy the balance of life.

If will create stronger mana beast and will suffocate non-magicians and will surely cause a tragedy.

Wallace could only imagine how was Aeolia stopping that calamity. It may be inappropriate to ask for more details about that but Wallace wanted to learn at least how to create and control this Mana Calamity so they discussed further about this calamity.

'I don't have time to right now to research this calamity. I might need to ask Veda about this...'

If Celestials can't really be transported to the southern continent, they could only hope that the empire would send most of their forces on this land so the Celestial can be very busy to eliminate them. Of course, it was a wishful thinking.

After being unable to find a quick solution with regards to the Celestials. They decided that it was already time to leave the place.

Aeolia promised that the battleship will be ready after a week and he will be personally sending it off.

They just have to be ready to receive the battleship near the border of the southern continent.

***

A couple of days had passed but Yumi and her team were still quite nervous about their situation.

"Do you think that Wallace already met with the Celestial?"

Yumi asked though she knows that no one could answer her yet.

Their group were already reaching the extraction point and she was worried that the two won't be able to keep up. They might be forced to leave earlier especially if they encounter dangerous creatures in this land.

"Let's just hope that they'll reach us here before we were forced to leave..."

Dr. Mao also expressed his worry since they also fought a flying wyrm the last time and it has air supremacy that could not be ignored.

They have Iron Knights to use before but all of them were already destroyed and the last one was within the Grand Arcanist's spatial bag.

They can only try to wait as much as they can before they'll decide on their next step.

***

Wallace was very satisfied on this trip. They met Aeolia in this place and the old man even gave each of them a bottle of his Seventh Generation Mana Artifact!

Although he was excited to study and learn about it. He controlled himself as he wasn't in the right place.

Everything was interesting and fun until a Celestial Being blocked their exit to the tower two days ago.
