【The atmosphere was just right, and you hesitated to take things further.】
“……”
What does “the atmosphere was just right” mean? What does “take things further” mean?
Minami Yuuki pondered over the previous simulated text, lost in thought.
Is it really this intense right from the start?
【While you hesitated, Asano Nao’s rationality returned. She looked into your eyes, which were so close, and her face flushed deeply. Her soft body gradually stiffened, almost turning into a wooden figure.】
【You know you have missed the opportunity. Although Asano Nao will still let you have your way, she is no longer in her best state.】
【You decide to wait for the next chance when she is emotionally moved.】
【The moment you let go, Asano Nao felt a sense of loss. Then, shyness overtook her brain again, and she turned around, running upstairs.】
【Watching her back, you smiled. Once she was out of sight, you grabbed your suitcase and left the Asano house, returning to your apartment.】【You didn’t take out any clothes from the suitcase; instead, you packed the apartment’s daily necessities into it.】
【For your own happiness and to help Asano Nao get used to you faster, you decided to keep a set of toiletries at her place and stay there from time to time.】
【If Asano Nao adapts quickly, you can give up your apartment and move into her house.】
The memory scene appears.
Asano Nao burrowed under the covers, the thick blanket tightly wrapping around her, giving her a sense of security.
She felt very hot, unsure if the heat came from the romance or the overly warm blanket.
Carefully grabbing the edge of the blanket, she quickly lifted it and put it down again, letting a rush of cold air into the blanket, briefly lowering the temperature inside.
Her exposed skin cooled rapidly from the chill, her blood lost its heat, and her heartbeat slowed down.
Holding the pillow, she lay on her back, the blanket covering her face, and this sensation reminded her of what just happened.
She raised her hand, rubbing her cheek with her fingertips, recalling the feeling from earlier.
She hugged the pillow, rolling excitedly under the blanket.
This joy slipped into worry within ten minutes.
Was Yuuki-kun really happy?
Do I smell good? Was my body too stiff?
Would Yuuki-kun misunderstand me running away out of shyness?
This closeness was Yuuki-kun’s promise to make her happy, but did he truly feel joy in this moment?
She pulled down the blanket, exposing her head to let the cold air cool her brain.
How did Yuuki-kum feel?
She was apprehensive.
Just then, she heard the doorbell.
Putting on thick pajamas, Asano Nao opened the door.
Minami Yuuki walked in with a suitcase. He changed his shoes, lifted the suitcase, walked through the entrance, across the living room, and opened the door to the bedroom on the first floor.
“From today, this is my room,” he announced, putting down the suitcase.
“Huh?” Asano Nao was stunned.
“Don’t just stand there, sister. Come help me unpack.” Minami Yuuki opened the suitcase, taking things out.
Asano Nao, confused, started helping. Her mind was a mess, the reality of Minami Yuuki moving in was too shocking, making her feel on the edge of a dream and reality.
Once the room was set up, the suitcase stored in the closet, and her hands free, Asano Nao looked at the now coatless Minami Yuuki. Leaning against the wall, its hard, cold touch felt very real, confirming this was reality.
So, she was really going to live with Yuuki-kun!
Her once blank face turned entirely red.
What should she do now? Out of courtesy, should she make a night visit tonight? When would be the right time? Before Yuuki-kun fell asleep or when he was fast asleep? Besides making breakfast, what else should she do in the morning?
Should she lock the bathroom and toilet doors during the day? Would not locking be too unreserved? But if she locked them, would it be too distant?
She was completely lost in her thoughts about their future life.
These thoughts led to a fundamental question.
Was Yuuki-kun happy coming to live here?
Did she bring him good feelings?
She wanted to ask but couldn’t voice it.
“Do you want to sleep together, sister?”
Minami Yuuki’s voice snapped her out of it. Looking towards the voice, she saw the boy already undressed and under the covers.
The boy looked at her with a teasing expression and mischievous eyes.
Asano Nao knew Minami Yuuki was just teasing her.
“Tonight’s cuddle service is free, and it includes unlimited kisses,” he suddenly mentioned something she cared about.
“Was it comfortable?”
Startled by her own voice, Asano Nao jumped. She had only thought it but accidentally said it aloud!
With such a soft voice, Yuuki-kun probably didn’t hear it.
“Very comfortable. I don’t mind paying you for it,” Minami Yuuki replied.
He actually heard it! And he gave it high praise!
Minami Yuuki looked at her and said, “I knew something was off with you, sister. I thought it was because you were startled by me suddenly moving in. Turns out you were worried about this kind of thing. But one experience doesn’t mean much. Come here, let’s try a few more times.”
Minami Yuuki lifted a corner of the blanket and patted the empty spot beside him.
No doubt, this was another prank.
Asano Nao rarely felt rebellious. She wanted to say “Okay” and then dive into the boy’s bed to see how he would react.
“Hurry up,” Minami Yuuki urged.
Asano Nao took a deep breath, clenched her fists, gathered her courage, and took a step forward.
She walked to the bedside, pinched Minami Yuuki’s face, and quickly ran out.
Sleeping together was too embarrassing! Her brain would overheat!
Pinching Yuuki-kun’s face was her boldest act of revenge!
After running out of the room, she stood against the wall, her heart pounding. Would Yuuki-kun be angry? She suddenly felt worried and regretted her act of revenge.
“Good night, sister. Don’t wait for me for dinner. I’m so tired from the trip; I’m going to sleep until morning,” Minami Yuuki’s voice came from inside the room.
“Okay,” Asano Nao responded. She breathed a sigh of relief; it seemed Yuuki-kun wasn’t angry.
“And one more thing, as rent, you can use sleeping me however you like. That’s it, see you in the morning.” Minami Yuuki yawned, his voice lazy.
He went to sleep.
Outside the door, Asano Nao was thunderstruck.
What does “use however you like” mean!
She tiptoed to the door, wanting to ask Minami Yuuki, but the boy had already closed his eyes.
She shut the bedroom door and could only ponder it herself.
The next morning, Minami Yuuki got out of bed, feeling refreshed. He walked to the window, opened it, and the cold wind made him shiver.
He slightly closed the window and walked out of the room.
“Good morning, sister,” he greeted Asano Nao in the living room.
Asano Nao turned her head, showing a tired face.
“Huh? Sister, did you stay up all night?” he was startled.
“It’s all your fault!” Asano Nao muttered in a voice only she could hear.
After Minami Yuuki said those words, how could she possibly sleep!
Whenever she was about to fall asleep, the boy’s words, “use however you like,” would echo in her mind, waking her up, making her think of ways to use him.
But she didn’t have the courage to act, so she could only watch her plans fizzle out. Then, sleepiness would overcome her, and that phrase would echo in her mind again. She would rethink her plans, only to abandon them again, in an endless cycle.
