In the depths of the vast ocean, a colossal creature emerged from the watery depths, revealing its proper form—an awe-inspiring giant crocodile. Its immense size sent shivers down the spine of any onlooker, yet it was precisely the sight that the Overlord sought. With unwavering determination, the Overlord, wielding a massive spear, stealthily swam towards the enormous reptile concealed beneath the waves, utterly unbeknownst to its potential prey.
Meanwhile, thousands of nautical miles away, Fast Company, a bustling control hall, buzzed with activity. The room teemed with a multitude of individuals engrossed in their respective tasks, including technical personnel meticulously attending to their duties, several scientists garbed in new white coats, and even the esteemed Ram Scott himself, present among them.
The expansive chamber was adorned with a multitude of instruments and gauges, each diligently fulfilling its purpose as a plethora of data, images, and more materialized on the various display screens. None of the impressive displays adorning the room was more prominent than the real-time satellite image, depicting a vast expanse of boundless sea traversed by a grand vessel navigating the waters.
One of Ram Scott's subordinates promptly reported, "BOSS, the data from Number 1 and Number 2 are within the normal range. Number 2 is situated two nautical miles away from the ship, while Number 1 lingers eight nautical miles away."
Satisfied with the update, Ram Scott nodded approvingly before projecting his voice with conviction, "If we were to issue an attack command to Number 2, could it replicate the success of Number 1's previous endeavor?"
A scientist, attired in a new white coat, positioned adjacent to Ram Scott, voiced his professional opinion, "I believe Number 2 will not disappoint us. It should exhibit the same formidable prowess as its predecessor, Number 1. I have faith that it possesses the capability to submerge that vessel."
Oh, the unfortunate circumstances that unfolded previously!
Merely half a month had passed since the sinking of a colossal vessel owned by the illustrious Risheng Ocean Shipping Group. Thousands of standard containers plummeted into the unfathomable depths of the ocean, while more than thirty crew members met their untimely demise.
Yet, astonishingly, within such a short span of time, the team embarked on a dangerous experiment once again, solely to assess the capabilities of a vast 70-meter-long crocodile in sinking a mammoth bulk carrier. Ram Scott exhibited no concern for the "Blessed" vessel nor acknowledged the precarious lives of the crew members aboard. His sole preoccupation lay in the test results of Number 2, harbouring the sincere hope that it would emulate the triumph of its predecessor, Number 1, in sinking a colossal ship.
Their satellites diligently monitored the targeted marine region, providing a live feed of the unfolding events. Technicians and scientists stood poised, eagerly awaiting the data transmitted by the two crocodiles.
Swiftly, the command to attack was issued.
Through the captivating live feed, they witnessed the 70-meter-long giant crocodile commence its advance, steadily propelling itself towards the "Blessed," an iron ore bulk carrier sailing in the distance. Little did they anticipate the presence of an enormous snapping turtle, armed with a weapon, lurking in the depths, stealthily pursuing their very own giant crocodile.
The Overlord, maintaining a measured pace, shadowed the crocodile with the utmost care, slowly narrowing the distance between them.
It appeared that the Overlord aimed to set its sights upon the "Blessed," perhaps harbouring intentions of launching an assault upon the vessel.
Ha! With me here, it shall remain naught but a mere dream, a fanciful illusion!
The Overlord's velocity escalated slightly, gradually closing in on the giant crocodile. Oblivious to the impending threat, the colossal reptile continued its inexorable trajectory toward the "Blessed."
A mere two hundred meters remained between the Overlord and the colossal crocodile. Such proximity sufficed, negating the necessity for further advancement.
Without a moment's hesitation, the Overlord fixated its gaze on the target, unleashing a surge of determination that propelled it forward like a fleeting shadow. The colossal spear's tip, guided unerringly by the Overlord's hand, aimed directly at the giant crocodile.
-BOOM!
A resounding "Boom!" reverberated through the water as the spear's point struck its intended mark impeccably. It pierced through the right flank of the colossal reptile's body, traversing its colossal frame and emerging from the left side in a glorious display of force.
A direct and lethal blow!
The spear's tip, having traversed the giant crocodile's body, carried with it a profusion of flesh and blood, transforming the surrounding seawater into a crimson tableau.
Exhilaration surged within the Overlord upon witnessing this sight—a culmination of joy and triumph!
Finally, the accursed crocodile met its demise!
Memories of the fierce battle waged against this formidable creature twenty days prior flooded the Overlord's consciousness. Back then, victory had only been attained by the narrowest of margins, for slaying such a colossal crocodile proved gruelling. Yet now, a solitary charge sufficed to conclude the encounter decisively.
The Overlord revelled in the gratifying sensation accompanying this display of enhanced combat prowess. After twenty arduous days of relentless effort, the spear had barely penetrated a mere meter during the initial encounter. However, now the Overlord had conquered the giant crocodile in a single, decisive thrust.
A surge of invigoration coursed through the Overlord's veins as it gazed upon the lifeless behemoth, subsequently retrieving its colossal spear.
Unbeknownst to the Overlord, this single act of impalement triggered a cataclysmic chain of events, resulting in the explosive decimation of Fast Company's island base.
Within their colossal control room, disconcerting alarms echoed, devoid of life, piercing through the air. The extensive array of data displays glowed an ominous shade of crimson, collectively shrouded in a terrifying sea of red.
This unnerving scarlet hue overwhelmed their chief scientist, the very leader of the project, a middle-aged white-coated figure named Baike Aiwen. His countenance contorted into a mask of distress.
He urgently exclaimed, "Number 2 has perished! Number 2 has perished!"
In a state of disbelief, Ram Scott jolted upright from his seat, bellowing with disbelief, "Oh, God! This cannot be true! This simply cannot be!"
He hastened towards Baike Aiwen, gazing at the disconcerting crimson data adorning the display screens.
"What has occurred? Explain this madness!" he practically roared, frustration palpable in his voice.
Baike Aiwen promptly responded, "Initiate satellite image playback! We must ascertain the events that unfolded moments ago."
The technicians hastily complied, initiating the playback of the satellite images. As the footage unfolded, they observed distinct disturbances on the water's surface, as if an unseen force hurtled towards Number 2 with unparalleled swiftness.
"Could it be a torpedo?" one of the technicians pondered aloud.
"Unlikely," another interjected, "torpedoes typically explode upon contact."
"Judging by the scale of the disturbances on the water's surface, it exceeds the size of any torpedo. How could such a massive torpedo even exist?"
Confusion befell the technicians as they struggled to comprehend the nature of the attack that had befallen their colossal crocodile.
"Zoom in on the footage and slow down the playback," Baike Aiwen suggested.
The imagery underwent several magnifications while playback speed was reduced fourfold, yet clarity eluded them. It was not until the playback speed decreased by sixteenfold that the truth finally materialized before their eyes.
Beneath the water's surface, an enormous black silhouette hurtled toward the colossal crocodile at a genuinely terrifying velocity.
However, the underwater vantage point and the satellite's resolution prevented them from discerning the exact identity of this mysterious assailant. They could only approximate its size, estimating it to be between fifty to sixty meters in length and breadth, with a height exceeding ten meters.
Consumed by a storm of emotions, Ram Scott cried out to the heavens, "God, I beseech you, reveal the true nature of this monstrosity!"
Baike Aiwen, standing beside him, offered a suggestion, "Boss, I strongly advise terminating the experiment immediately. Abandon the assault on the ship and instruct Number 1 to return posthaste. The situation in that vicinity is far too perilous."
Should Number 1 suffer a similar attack and meet its demise, its investment of over ten billion dollars and the five-year endeavour invested into this project would be rendered futile, resulting in a complete and irreparable failure.
Ram Scott, visibly weakened, waved his hand in resignation. "Very well, recall Number 1."
While Bawang revelled in the satisfaction of conquering the seventy-meter giant crocodile with a decisive blow, it remained oblivious to the catastrophic turn of events unfolding in Fast Company's island base.
