When Chen Hu informed him they were only an hour from their destination, Liu Yong was taken aback.
He had anticipated a much longer journey, possibly two or three hours.
"Only an hour away?" Liu Yong asked, surprised.
Chen Hu nodded. "Knowing that the boss wants to get there earlier, I speeded up the sailing speed last night."
Liu Yong was concerned about Chen Hu's well-being and offered to take over driving the yacht.
"You haven't slept all night, are you tired? Why don't you take a rest first, how about I drive?" he asked.
"The driving of this yacht is not difficult. Liu Yong has learned it several times. On this vast sea, he can't see any other ships, so there is no problem in driving the yacht," he added.
Chen Hu smiled. "It's only about an hour to reach the destination anyway, I'll go to bed later."
Liu Yong did not take care of Chen Hu and began to think about the preparations they needed to make upon arrival.
ραпdα nᴏνɐ| сom He had come well-prepared for this deep-sea diving trip, with a rubber diving suit and goggles, among other things.
"It is more convenient to put on a rubber wetsuit, and it feels much better than just wearing a pair of shorts to go into the water. In addition, goggles are prepared," Liu Yong explained.
Chen Hu looked at Liu Yong's attire and was slightly taken aback. "Boss, don't you need to bring an oxygen cylinder?" he asked.
Liu Yong replied, "No, I am good at water."
Then he reassured Chen Hu, "I haven't slept all night, go and sleep in peace, don't worry about me."
Liu Yong was filled with determination as he watched Chen Hu retreat to one of the bedrooms.
He knew that his goal was within reach, and he could not let anything hinder him from attaining it. He confidently plunged into the sea and swam straight to the depths.
His eyes were fixed on the sunken ship on the ocean floor, which was his ultimate objective.
Using third-party vision, Liu Yong could see that Bawang had already arrived at the sunken ship.
For several days, he had been spending most of his time in the area, scouring the vicinity for anything that could satisfy his hunger. Liu Yong had anticipated this and had prepared himself for the task ahead.
"Overlord, I'm here," Liu Yong called out.
"Great, master, I have been waiting for you for several days," Bawang replied.
After several minutes of diving, Liu Yong reached a depth of about two to three hundred meters.
The sea water was crystal clear at this point, but the light was slowly fading. The deeper he went, the darker it became. Liu Yong could even see some luminous spots in the deeper depths. These were some of the deep-sea marine creatures that could emit light on their own.
Thankfully, Liu Yong had brought a portable deep-sea light source. He switched it on, and a bright light illuminated the dark abyss. The ocean floor was mesmerizing, with some beautiful and exotic fish species that Liu Yong had never seen.
As he continued to dive, Liu Yong could feel the pressure of the water increase. The depth of five hundred meters was already significant, and it was a depth that all divers strived to reach. Liu Yong did not stop there but continued to dive deeper.
The pressure continued to increase with every passing moment, but Liu Yong was determined to reach his ultimate goal.
As he dove deeper and deeper, he began to feel the weight of the water on his body. He was now at a depth that all divers dreamed of reaching - six to seven hundred meters below the surface.
Liu Yong's heart swelled with anticipation as he thought about what he might discover at the bottom of the sea. He had prepared well for this moment and was ready to face any challenge that came his way.
The untested nature of the situation loomed over Liu Yong's mind as he prepared to dive to a depth of more than 2000 meters.
Despite sharing attributes with the Overlord, he knew there were differences due to his human nature.
He pondered that while a snapping turtle with a strength attribute of 2000 could easily carry 20 to 30 tons of weight, he could not do the same.
As he descended further, the pressure of the seawater became more evident, but Liu Yong continued, relieved that it was still within his tolerance range.
After a few minutes, he arrived at the dark seabed and swam towards the shipwreck, where the director awaited him.
The shipwreck was modern, with a steel structure, and Liu Yong speculated that it had been there for at least several decades due to its severe corrosion. He noticed that it seemed to be a transport ship.
"Master, what do you want me to do?" Bawang, Liu Yong's companion, arrived soon after with a flattering expression.
"Just wait for me outside," Liu Yong instructed him.
The Overlord, who had accompanied Liu Yong, suggested, "Then I'll wait for you outside. Before you go in, I'll knock on this sunken ship."
Liu Yong suddenly understood what was going on and was secretly happy in his heart.
"Bawang's intelligence was really improving as he continued to grow, and he knew to hit the sinking ship first," he thought.
"Knock the mountain and shake the tiger," Liu Yong replied, referring to the Chinese idiom meant to intimidate the enemy.
The Overlord knocked on the sunken ship several times with his giant spear, creating a loud sound that echoed across the sea.
The tactic worked as a four to five-meter-long sea snake quickly emerged from the ship and fled.
Other fish and even some octopuses followed suit, running from the area in fear. After a few minutes, when nothing else emerged, Liu Yong swam into the sunken ship through a hole in the cockpit.
As Liu Yong swam through the shipwreck, he came across the overturned cockpit in complete disarray.
The sight of two dead bodies inside made him feel a sense of unease. The clothes on the bodies were in tatters, and only bones remained. However, he managed to deduce that they were RB military uniforms from World War II.
Liu Yong searched through the pockets of the tattered military uniform and found a pocket watch and some ocean, which were almost rotten into the mud. However, his mood lifted when he discovered three little yellow croakers or gold bars. He smiled and continued exploring the cockpit but found nothing else of value.
Using his large flashlight, Liu Yong explored the living cabin of the ship but found several more corpses, all of which had turned to bones. Although he was initially frightened, Liu Yong gradually became more courageous and continued his search. He found rotten banknotes on the corpses but no gold or silver.
Undeterred, Liu Yong pressed on and explored every cabin on the ship, determined to find something valuable. Despite the ship's size and displacement, he found nothing of value in the living cabin or other cabins he explored.
However, he remained optimistic and was determined to keep searching.
