Chapter 1357: Clash With A Titan

Julian frowns as he sees his Charizard getting pokemonhandled like that. His Charizard might not be his strongest Pokemon, but strength-wise, he is stronger than 98 percent of all pokemons.

So getting slammed into the ground is not something Charizard has experienced ever.

But now it is up to Charizard to get back to his feet and fight back.

As Regirock throws down Charizard, it brings its focus back to Julian. Regirock starts rushing towards Julian once again.

Julian 'Why is it after me?'

Julian questions himself as it is very clear that he is Regirock's target.

Though he seems to be in danger, he is not. If Regirock gets dangerously close to Julian, it will be taken care of.

Luckily for it, Charizard comes to its rescue. After getting slammed into the ground and getting his wind knocked out of him, Charizard growls in anger and shoots himself up.

He flaps his wings and rushes towards Regirock. He grabs Regirock from the back and stops it in its tracks once again.

Charizard roars and starts flapping his wings, fast and hard. Charizard's feet come off the ground and so does Regirocks'.

Regirock starts flailing, trying to get itself loose, but Charizard's grip is tight.

With Regirock in his hands, Charizard starts flying higher.

Hundreds of meters up in the air, Charizard starts circling the sky. And with each revolution, he gets faster, fast enough to create an orange ring. Soon, an illusion of a planet manifests inside the circle.

Charizard reaches maximum speed and starts descending. He breaks the sound barrier in an instant.

Like a meteor, the friction from the atmosphere causes fire to engulf both Charizard and Regirock. Since Charizard is a fire type, the fire does not affect him. As for Regirock, it is resistant to fire, and at this temperature, it won't affect it much.

It only takes a few seconds for Charizard to reach the ground. He drives Regirock face-first into the ground using Seismic Toss.

This Seismic Toss is twice as powerful as the one Charizard delivered to Ludicolo, so the impact is much larger.

The whole island feels the impact, the ground shakes violently and dust rises up hundreds of meters in height.

This should be over, but it is not.

As soon as Regirock gets driven into the ground, Charizard lets it go and watches the motionless legendary Pokemon, but to his surprise, Regirock suddenly gets back to its feet and punches Charizard using Focus Punch.

Charizard shoots out of the dust cloud, surprising Julian.

The dust settles down and Regirock can be seen standing menacingly.

Charizard flaps his wings hard to stop himself in midair. He grits his teeth as he can feel pain coursing around his abdomen.

Charizard roars in anger and charges toward Regirock once again. He channels fire energy with maximum intensity as he uses Flare Blitz.

Blue flames cover Charizard's body. Every minute flare that separates from the flaming body itself seems to carry great destructive power.

Sensing the force behind Charizard's attack, Regirock tenses up and channels its energy, strengthening its body with it.

Regirock uses Superpower to strengthen itself making its body glow. It then crosses its arms together in front of its chest and charges forward.

Both Pokemon trying to take out each other.

Two powerhouses, one an immovable object, another an unstoppable force, are about to collide.

Before the two could even make contact, the pressure built in the space between them as they got closer to each other caved the ground beneath it.

And when the contact took place, bright blinding white light instantly covered everything. It was then followed up with a thunderous sound that would make anyone go deaf. Then came the shock wave that would rip anything in its path.

The impact was so powerful that it created a vacuum. Of course, the surrounding air instantly came in, and the vacuum was gone, but it did create a second sound boom.

Julian covers his eyes as the shockwave hits him like a truck. Luckily, he tanks it with the help of his powers and some reinforcements from Gengar's shadow tentacles.

before the dust even gets the chance to settle, both Charizard and Regirock are thrown out of it from the recoil.

Regirock's heavy body crashes into the ground and continues to roll down further, taking down trees on its way. Charizard also crashes hard and rolls, but he uses his tail to stop rolling and gets back to his feet.

But then he is suddenly assaulted by the aftermath of using Flare Blitz. His body suddenly bursts with blue flames as Charizard growls in pain. Usually, Charizard doesn't suffer any backlash using this move because he always holds back, but this time he went all out and now has to suffer from it.

Regirock also stops rolling and slowly gets back to its feet, but the glowing energy around its body starts to fade away. This is the side effect of using Superpower. It gives the user a temporary increase in strength and defense, but when the power fades away, it decreases the user's strength and defense.

Now both pokemons are weakened severely.
