Chapter 6: Challenging The Captain!!!
"Finally," Hael said, almost with a sigh of relief, and immediately his hands reached out as he grabbed the chain in both hands, revolving the dagger chained to it around his body, causing sharp slicing sounds to ring out from the air surrounding him, before he grabbed the edge of the small dagger and looked at it with curious eyes.
If there was a single weapon he knew well how to use, then it would be the Kyoketsu-Shoge. Even though as a prince of a dynasty, the sword was deemed noble and therefore a weapon where the majority of the princesses or members of royalty must practice.
Hael was able to learn another weapon due to the help of his brother's ex-brother, Hadeon, who was a master at the weapon.
"Hey, bro. You got it?" The hasty voice of Zhang rang out as he wrapped the chain around his arms before dipping the blade into a metallic pouch that was just at his knees.
Done with that, he turned back with speed, running back to Zhang who had a curious look, wondering what type of rifle this strange brother of his would pick, but in the next seconds, his face dropped to the ground as he looked at the chain wrapped around his arms.
"You..I..What the hell is that!?" Zhang screamed out in shock, completely out of words as Hael turned to look at the weapon around his arms before replying.
"My weapon!"
"What do you mean your weapon, that is a fucking chain with a kitchen knife. It won't even kill a cattle talk less of..."
"ATTENTION, ALL SOLDIERS HAVE 1 MINUTE TO GET INTO THE MISSION BRIEFING HALL, OR FACE INTENSE PENALTY!!!" "Shit!" Zhang cursed as his eyes rapidly scanned the rack and immediately he reached out for the two small pistols and flung them towards Hale.
"That should give you some time to say your prayers before those cold claws run into your skull. Now, let's get moving!?" He said as he immediately turned and ran into the distance with his fastest speed.
Hael turned to look at the two small guns, and immediately he dipped them into his pockets as he rapidly followed after Zhang.
He didn't know how to use the gun, but he had at least something that can be used. It was a win-win situation. And who knows, the metallic object might not be that hard to use, and he could probably learn to be proficient with it in a short time.
45 seconds later...
The large red gates could be seen in the distance as the sound of two legs rapidly smashing against the ground echoed throughout the hall, but the door was slowly closing as three veins popped on Zhang's forehead.
There was still about 30 meters and there was no way he could cover that distance in time.
"Shit, shit, shit..." Zhang muttered as he ran with his fastest speed, the door quickly closing to a close.
"I guess this is what being nice gets you..." He mused with a helpless smile, but his face changed in the next second, as he felt as if a tractor ran into him and in the next second, Zhang found himself floating in the air and zooming forward with speed as he turned his left gaze to the side and finally felt the figure responsible.
The air rapidly slammed against Hale's face as he looked at the gate and immediately, he took a single step forwards more, this time with all his strength causing a line of crack to appear on the ground and in the next second, he rapidly covered the distance between him and Zhang.
Stretching his hands to the side, he grabbed the hefty young man before quickly soaring forward with horrifying speed towards the door.
Immediately, the impossible distance was instantly crossed by Hael, causing Zhang to look around him in disbelief as he looked at the hall where the other soldiers could be seen and found out that they really made it.
"Thank you..."
"YOU BOTH ARE LATE!!!" The roar boomed out from the top of the dais from the large pulpit as Zhang was cut short and they both lifted their heads and turned to look at the blue-haired female clad in the same armor suit that Hael had seen before.
"SHOULD I REPEAT MYSELF!?" The blue-haired lady roared out at them as Zhang rapidly stood up.
"We're very sorry, captain..." He said getting on a knee but couldn't help but notice that Hale remained standing causing droplets of sweat to roll down his forehead.
And immediately, his hands reached out to Hael's legs trying to pull down one knee, but what he got was Hael violently jerking his hands from his hold.
"Hael, please don't make this worse..." Zhang begged whispering, although it was no different from a loud announcement through the large hall.
"And what do you have to say for yourself, Kiddo..." She said as she rose up from her seat and looked down on Hael with a smirk.
"Actually, Captain. We're not late. That door was supposed to close after a minute and we arrived at the 54th second. So how are we late?" Hael asked with a raised eyebrow.
Hael found the entire episode disgusting. Was there anything honorable in a girl who is at most 25 talking like a husky man? The girl had abused him, calling him stupid names and now she was claiming that they were late, when they clearly weren't, and expecting him to get on a knee, for a girl like her!?
GASPS...
The various gasps could be heard from the soldiers, as Aelia's face changed and immediately, the dais that she stood on sunk for a centimeter as she disappeared from where she stood.

BURST...
The air in the room blew erratically as Hael's blue hair rapidly danced on his head and in the next second, he found the lady standing mere centimeters from him, her blue eyes now flashing an intense red light!
"Oh No!!!"
