After Wang Hong and Xu Lun's meeting, they took away a large quantity of Spirit Stones.
In Wang Hong's space, there was now a row of large wooden crates, with one of them containing Spirit Stones stored in Storage Bags.
Over the past period, he had accumulated a vast number of Spirit Stones, totaling over ten million.
Another wooden crate held the millennium-old Spiritual Herbs he had previously collected, which he had stored in wooden boxes refined for the purpose. These were then placed in Storage Bags and filled the crate to capacity.
The remaining wooden crates were also filled with Storage Bags, each containing various types of materials he had collected.
Wang Hong took out one Storage Bag after another from the wooden crates and scattered the Spirit Stones across the land in his space.
As time rapidly passed, the Spirit Stones were absorbed, causing the land within his space to expand slowly.
When the land area reached 265 acres, he stopped spreading Spirit Stones but left behind several million for emergencies and daily consumption.
Now, the total area of his space was 265 acres, with time passing nearly 294 times faster within it compared to the outside world.
One day in the outside world equaled almost a year within his space.Wang Hong planted second-tier Spiritual Herbs on the additional land he had created in his space.
With the increasing number of Foundation Building stage cultivators under his command, the need for second-tier Spiritual Objects also grew.
At the current rate of time flow in his space, these Spiritual Herbs would mature in no more than two years, allowing him to refine a large number of pills.
Among his second-tier Alchemists, in addition to the Ma Brothers, there were five others who no longer required his personal attention for alchemy.
However, as a hobby, he occasionally refined a few furnaces of pills himself.
Now, his success rate in refining second-tier pills had reached at least ninety percent, and he even produced middle-grade and top-grade pills.
He kept the top-grade pills for his personal use, used some of the middle-grade pills for himself and his subordinates, and sold the low-grade pills to the public.
The Foundation Establishment Pill Spiritual Herbs he had planted previously had all matured and been collected.
Wang Hong spent several days in the Mountain Valley refining this batch of Foundation Establishment Pills.
Among them, there were eighty top-grade Foundation Establishment Pills, three hundred middle-grade Foundation Establishment Pills, and over five hundred low-grade Foundation Establishment Pills.
Using a top-grade Foundation Establishment Pill would increase the success rate of Foundation Building by at least fifty percent. Even if one had lower talent, a single Foundation Establishment Pill would suffice.
After Wang Hong finished his alchemy work, he summoned Luo Zhongjie.
"I'm planning to go away for a while, and I'll leave the Mountain Valley in your care. Don't slack off in the daily training."
"For the management and trade aspects, you can have Yin Ze assist you. He has been running things in Boundary City on his own for over ten years, so he's quite adept at managing."
Wang Hong instructed Luo Zhongjie, who was skilled in training the team members and commanding battles.
However, when it came to trade, business, and industry, Luo Zhongjie was not as proficient as Yin Ze, who had been following Wang Hong for many years and could be relied upon in terms of character and loyalty.
"Understood. East Master, where are you planning to go this time, and when can we expect your return?"Luo Zhongjie had no objections to Yin Ze assisting him; in fact, he was relieved. With the growing population in Mountain Valley and various external affairs, he had been overwhelmed. Having Yin Ze share some of the responsibilities was a welcome relief.
"I plan to make a trip to the former site of Blackstone Valley Market. There's a medium-sized Spirit Vein there that my Master has gifted to me. Recently, I've learned a secret technique that allows me to transfer a portion of the Spirit Vein. I intend to give it a try."
Mountain Valley only had a few small Spirit Veins, and with hundreds of people residing there, including over a hundred Foundation Building cultivators, the Spiritual Energy was no longer sufficient. The concentration of Spirit Qi was useless for the Foundation Building cultivators.
"But Heishi Valley is already on the edge of Qingxu Sect's influence. There are numerous Demonic Beasts there, and it's considered a dangerous area," Luo Zhongjie expressed his concerns.
"No worries, I'll bring along more people for safety. Besides, I'll leave Little Peng in Mountain Valley. If we have external threats, it can be quite helpful. It has fast flying speed, making it convenient for message delivery," Wang Hong reassured Luo Zhongjie.
After arranging everything with Luo Zhongjie, Wang Hong selected forty of his subordinates and set off on a Flying Boat.
Wen Lan led the team, and accompanying them were Ling Shuai and his daughter Ling Xue. Wang Hong had previously given a Foundation Establishment Pill to Ling Xue, which allowed her to successfully advance to the Foundation Building stage.
When they arrived at Heishi Valley on their Flying Boat, they discovered that the area had been occupied by a group of powerful Demonic Beasts. There were thousands of them, including dozens of second-tier Demonic Beasts.
Despite being a Feng Shui treasure with a rich Spirit Qi concentration due to the medium-sized Spirit Vein, it was strange for the area to be occupied by Demonic Beasts.
"With the current strength difference, a direct assault won't work. We'd better lure them out and eliminate them in batches," Wen Lan suggested after comparing their strengths. Wang Hong readily agreed to the plan.
The method of luring was simple: most of them hid in the distance while a few individuals approached the Demonic Beasts and waved a couple of times. These less intelligent Demonic Beasts would then chase after them.
All they needed was to lead them to an ambush area in the distance, where they could quickly defeat them.
After luring and killing the first batch of Demonic Beasts, several cultivators were sent to lure more Demonic Beasts from the outskirts of the original Blackstone Valley Market. It seemed that Demonic Beasts in general were not very clever, as they pursued relentlessly after being lured and killed repeatedly by the same group.
After several days of effort, there were now only a little over a thousand Demonic Beasts remaining in Heishi Valley, with around ten second-tier Demonic Beasts.
This time, the members of the lure and kill team reached the valley's entrance and found no traces of Demonic Beasts in the vicinity.
"Everyone, follow me; let's take a look inside," Yang Tiezhu, the team leader of the lure and kill squad, declared. She rushed inside as soon as she spoke.
Seeing their leader entering, the remaining nine team members immediately followed suit.
Inside, Yang Tiezhu encountered a sparse group of Demonic Beasts. She charged forward, wielding her wolf's tooth club, and swiftly killed a second-tier Demonic Beast.
The others followed suit, and within moments, they had slain the small group of Demonic Beasts.
At this point, more Demonic Beasts began to gather, but Yang Tiezhu seemed to have forgotten her mission to lure them. She swung her club at the approaching horde without hesitation.
As the other cultivators waited outside in ambush for a long time without seeing the lure and kill team return, they became suspicious. Suddenly, they heard roars from inside Heishi Valley, as if chaos had erupted.
"Everyone, follow me to the Flying Boat; we're going into the valley!" Wen Lan shouted, leaping into the Flying Boat. The others quickly followed suit.
The Flying Boat quickly took off and headed straight for Heishi Valley.
