Immortal of the Ages

Chapter 650: Coming and Going Like the Wind

Before departing once again, Yun Xiao installed a Celestial Sourcecore above the Divine Continent and Heavenly Realm. This Sourcecore, akin to a miniature version of the sun and moon found in the Primordial Ruins, slowly released its energy into the atmosphere, elevating the level of celestial energy in this pocket world.

So, whether it was Azure Spirit, Sea of Swords, or the Heavenly Realm itself, everyone became better suited for cultivation, and even mortals could transform and transcend.

A tool from the Great Dao Celestial Realm, deemed trash by those in the higher places, could be a treasure of unimaginable benefit in the mortal realm. Take, for example, the Boundary Defining Divine Needle!

This Supreme Heaven grade celestial treasure, capable of stabilizing the spatial fabric of the myriad worlds, could prevent its destruction."

"This vast disparity in power is one of the reasons the Celestial Court enslaves all beings," Yun Xiao mused.

He had moved from the First Dao Tribulation to the Third Dao Tribulation.

Who could say how many more Dao Tribulations awaited him on this journey to immortality?

Yun Xiao returned to the Nine Hells. From afar, he saw the Boundary Defining Divine Needle floating in the devastated area where the Immortal Asylum once stood, emitting a vast power that fixed the fractured mountains and rivers, allowing countless beings to survive.

"When the barriers between realms can be freely traversed, the beings of the lower realms become far too vulnerable."

The Immortals reigned supreme, and the multitude bowed their heads like monkeys. Yet, the celestial ladder did not lock the barriers of class.

Having seen the reality clearly, Yun Xiao felt no need to lament but returned instead to the Primordial Ruins.

There, Liu Mumu and Miss Yu were residing in the Primordial Academy, being hosted by Dean Yu Nichang in the Divine Dawn Pavilion.

By now, the Primordial Ruins had returned to normal. With the descendants of the Three Immortals completely wiped out, there was still much to be done.

When Yun Xiao appeared suddenly, Liu Mumu and Miss Yu were overjoyed. "Little Yao, Little Yao," Miss Yu cried, clutching his hand as tears welled up in her eyes.

Quickly, Yun Xiao produced a jade bottle and said to Liu Mumu, "Master, this elixir is brewed from a Lower Dao Heaven grade celestial fruit. It might be able to cure my mother's eyesight. Make sure she drinks it in three parts once every day."

"Lower Dao Heaven grade..." Liu Mumu's lips parted in awe, aware of the rarity of anything in the Dao Heaven grade. As a Rank 8 Arbiter Commander, she knew well that such treasures typically belonged to Rank 2 Heavenly Officers of the Celestial Court.

"Where did this come from?" Liu Mumu asked, trembling slightly as she took the pill.

"It was a gift from the Eight Paths Cloud and Thunder General," Yun Xiao replied with a smile.

Thanks to his body double, Liu Mumu and Miss Yu knew about Yun Xiao becoming the Champion of the Immortal Tournament. However, he hadn't yet told them about him wiping out all the top brass of the Thunder Department.

The pills were looted from Yun Yin's remains.

“Elixir…” Miss Yu had been blind for too long, numbed to her darkness. Now, hearing there was a chance to see again, she was overwhelmed.

Clutching Yun Xiao's hand, she was too stirred to speak.

“The Champion, wonderful, wonderful!”

It took her a while to compose herself; holding back tears, she spoke with a smile.

"I'm also a Rank 4 Thunder Emissary now. Apart from the Nine Thunders Sovereign and Gu Suwan, I'm the third highest official in the Thunder Department," Yun Xiao said with a smile."

“Third highest, that’s truly wonderful…” Miss Yu nodded repeatedly.

Liu Mumu was puzzled; reaching such a high rank before 30 years old was extraordinary. Yet, it was only one of 100 high officials in the Thunder Department—how was he third?

“How are you faring in the Celestial Court?” Liu Mumu asked with concern.

When Yun Xiao first mentioned his title as Champion, Liu Mumu was too shocked to speak, only now recovering.

“It’s quite good,” Yun Xiao replied.

“I'm sure none of these privileges come for free, right?” she asked quietly.

“Mhm,” he replied.

“That puts you in a delicate position…” Liu Mumu said, worried.

"Stepping onto this path was destined. No matter what, I must seek justice for every living person in this world,” Yun Xiao declared.

This was the Primordial Ruins, where everyone had experienced the calamity wrought by the Three Immortals.

“Hmm…” Liu Mumu was worried, but she wouldn’t stop him. She muttered, “I’m just a bit dazed; it feels too quick. It was only a few days ago we met. Your life, it’s rushed, as urgent as fire, coming and going like the wind."

“You’re right, I must go now,” Yun Xiao said with a smile.

“Go then, Miss Yu is in my care,” Liu Mumu said.

Yun Xiao walked a few steps away, then turned back, “The Celestial Court is too corrupt. Once I’ve cleaned it up, I’ll bring you all home.”

“Clean it up…”

What did it mean to clean it up? Liu Mumu dared not even imagine. She knew once Yun Xiao set foot on this path, the magnitude of his adversaries...

All those in the Celestial Court who divided this celestial pie of the mortal realm would stand against him!

"Hope rests with all the Heavenly Officers below Rank 6. May they bravely stand for justice by his side. Only then will the Great Dao Celestial Realm hold a chance." Liu Mumu clasped her hands together, silently praying for Yun Xiao.

Outside, Yun Xiao encountered Dean Yu Nichang.

This beauty, with hair as white as dreams, was in no way inferior to many a celestial maiden.

Yun Xiao had brought her ample resources, and now she had reached the Establishment Yang Immortal Realm, nearing the ability to project her spirit and ascend to become a True Immortal.

"Is Lil Xi not with you?" Dean Yu asked in a hushed voice.

"No," Yun Xiao responded.

"You haven’t upset her, have you?" Dean Yu asked.

"No worries, I’ll make it right," Yun Xiao said, slightly embarrassed.

He felt as though he was facing a parent of the woman he cared for.

"You..." Dean Yu sighed helplessly, then added, "Go then, make it right. She has a sharp tongue but a soft heart. Just give her a bit of attention, offer her an out, and she’ll come around."

"Understood!" Yun Xiao nodded.

But what Dean Yu didn't know was that now Divine Dawn had become three people.

Yun Xiao himself was somewhat unclear about her changed nature.

"Go then."

After bidding farewell to Dean Yu and leaving the myriad worlds, Yun Xiao took three companions with him!

They were Moon Fairy, the War Princess, and Pale Revenant.

He switched to a sword vessel with seats for ten, which also had three single-seat vessels attached.

Within the sword vessel, Moon Fairy sat in a corner, his eyes vacant, lost in thought, while Pale Revenant, barefoot and demure, stood quietly to the side.

Yun Xiao faced the War Princess directly.

Although it had been several days since they last met, Yun Xiao's Mortal Dust Devil Seed was with her constantly, allowing them to converse daily. The young woman before him, having achieved the Third Dao Tribulation of a True Devil and nourished by the Mortal Dust Devil Blood, had grown increasingly enchanting and seductive.

Young in years but not in presence, the War Princess surpassed even Thunder Emissary Cao in height, figure, and allure. Her devilish physique, more robust and curvaceous than that of a human, boasted legs and a waist whose curves were striking.

Her blood dragon horns and dark red eyes lent her an exotic charm, a blend of foreign lands and races.

The War Princess and Thunder Emissary Cao might appear similar. However, the two were entirely different. Cao Shuo was a mature, lazy seductress with a stubborn streak.

Meanwhile, the War Princess radiated the fiery vigor of youth. She was robust and vigorous. Her vitality was forceful. Though she wasn't as supple as Cao Shuo, she possessed an addictive resilience and firmness.

Her tongue, when extended, could reach over three inches long, a captivating highlight.

She was a wild and untamable female devil!

Having not disciplined her for several days, her gaze towards Yun Xiao now held an unmistakable annoyance and resentment.

"What's up?" Yun Xiao asked.

"What's that scent on you? It's not Zhao Xuanran, nor that little white tiger girl." the War Princess pouted, visibly irritated.

"God dammit…!" Yun Xiao sighed internally—all three women had noses like hounds!

"Those celestial maidens and the Empress Dowager, they’re beautiful, aren’t they?" she probed, jealousy apparent.

"It’s none of your business," Yun Xiao shot back with a glare.

"So flirtatious, I hope it serves you right," she muttered bitterly, biting her lip.

Yun Xiao regarded her with an air of a dominant master.

Startled, the War Princess stepped back, wary, "There are others here, don't you dare start something."

Hearing this, Pale Revenant turned into a mist, effectively hiding herself.

As for Moon Fairy, being merely a body double, he remained in a state of deep sleep, unresponsive.

"Enough!" the War Princess bit her lip, "I’m not so easy. Just don't get any fun ideas, and I'll listen to whatever orders you have."

"You think too much." Yun Xiao, tired of the banter, paused before continuing, "You and my body double have been growing too slowly in the mortal realm. I brought you out this time because I have other plans."
