Kaywhin listened to Yelena and looked at her quietly. He then promptly reached out his hand as if he understood what she was saying.

Yelena quickly grabbed the hand and beamed.

The corners of her mouth pointed up to the sky.

With this, the first stage of skinship for lovers, ‘hand-holding,’ was accomplished.

‘Hopefully, we reach the third stage today…’

Ambition warmed Yelena’s heart.

Yelena looked around the festival street with a passionate heart.

The streets were splendid.

Everything was decorated with various lanterns and flowers.

The flyer said it was more beautiful after sunset, so she purposely matched their arrival to around sunset. Perhaps, the beauty was because of the lanterns hanging all over the street.

‘It’s pretty, though.’

She was only looking around, but she was already excited.

Kaywhin adjusted his stride to match her footsteps.

Yelena, who was walking hand in hand with her husband, spoke again. “Kaywhin.”

“Yes?”

“Have you ever been to a festival like this before?”

“No. This is my first time.”

“You’ve had a lot of first time since meeting me.”

At Yelena’s words, Kaywhin looked down at her. “…That’s true.”

His voice sounded as if he had realized something new.

At his response, Yelena felt her mood somehow brighten.

“There will be more in the future. The first things you do with me.”

Recently, Yelena had picked up a habit of being ashamed by speaking.

Sure enough, Yelena instantly became embarrassed by what she said. She quickly scanned around.

Just then, something worthy of a conversation topic caught her eye.

“It’s cloud candy. Have you ever eaten cloud candy?”

Cloud candy had such a name because it looked exactly like a cloud.

The ingredients were only sugar, but they had to be made using a magic machine, so it was hard to find them unless they were sold at such a large festival.

Even before hearing his answer, Yelena led Kaywhin to the candy stall.

“Give me one.”

The cloud candy stuck on a stick was big, white, and fluffy.

Yelena held out what was in her hand to Kaywhin and asked, “Look at this. What do you think? Doesn’t it look like a real cloud?”

“Rather than a cloud…”

Kaywhin’s eyes briefly flickered between Yelena’s hair and the cloud candy.

“Yes?”

“No. It looks like a cloud.”

“Right? It’s not called cloud candy for nothing.”

Yelena smiled proudly and walked forward.

She thought to herself that one of the beauties of festivals was the food.

Moments later, Yelena had a cloud candy in one hand and a fruit skewer in Kaywhin’s hand.

The bananas coated in chocolate also looked delicious, so she decided to buy them to eat later.

However, she didn’t have enough hands.

Of course, it was a problem that could be instantly resolved if she let go of Kaywhin’s hand, but she couldn’t let that happen in the first place.

Yelena suddenly discovered something while she was bringing the cloud candy closer to her mouth with the thought of eating it.

“Kaywhin, look over there.”

What caught Yelena’s eye was a man with a striking appearance.

The tall, skinny man wore a lavish cape, an extravagantly decorated mask and held a shiny sword.

“He didn’t just wear a mask; he’s also all dressed up.”

Was it because it was a festival?

His cape and sword were like a theatre prop.

The reason Yelena thought the man’s sword appeared like a prop was because it was too flashy and fancy to be practical.

‘Is it not?’

Yelena soon lost confidence in her own speculation.

Well, she had never known much about the sword.

Yelena peeked up at Kaywhin and inquired, “Isn’t that a prop?”

“You’re right.”

“Because it’s too fancy?”

“Rather than that… First of all, the sword isn’t real.”

“Really?”

Yelena’s gaze turned to the man again.

However, the man had disappeared into the crowd.

“You mean it’s a fake sword?”

“Yes.”

“How did you know?”

“It’s lightweight. Compared to real swords of the same size, it doesn’t even reach half the weight.”

Yelena blinked her eyes.

Kaywhin didn’t even touch the sword. He just glanced at it from afar.

“Can you tell how much a sword weighs just by looking at it?”

“Approximately.”

Yelena opened her mouth slightly and soon regained her composure.

Come to think of it, seeing his performance in the training grounds was already quite surprising.

And now, all of a sudden, she thought there was nothing more surprising.
