Chapter 464: Christ’s Ascension, Angels on Earth

In the great hall of the Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran, many devotees were kneeling on the ground in prayer and worship. They wept and cried as they awaited Christ’s awakening and return to heaven.

In the coffin, Christ, who had once made a great show of power in Kenya and Somalia, stood up with a kind and peaceful smile. His ordinary features possessed a divine flavor that could not be described in words.

His tranquil gaze was on the nun and pope before him, and he said, “Reach out your fingers and touch my hand. Reach out your hands and probe my ribs. Do not doubt, always believe.”

Sister Mirda and Francis I both came forward and knelt down. They reached out their trembling hands and touched the flesh and blood of Christ and felt a vibrant life force enter them.

Christ had risen just as he said he would.

“Your soul believes in me, your spirit reaches heaven. I will give you holiness so that you may use it in righteousness. If not, you will lose the favor of the Father.”

Christ Louie’s hand caressed Sister Mirda’s head as if he were baptizing her.

Immediately, under the frenzy and excitement of many devotees, a pair of illusory wings grew on Sister Mirda’s back.

Louie bestowed a part of his divine power upon the pious nun. A true god could not just randomly bestow power on people. Only true believers that were close to and favored by the Gods could receive them.

Sister Mirda was a devout believer who could be described to have a sacred soul. Although her faith was in Christ, Louie had completely replaced Christ’s position and was recognized by more than two billion believers around the world. Mirda’s faith was also sent to him.

Although Louie was not prepared to bestow any power to the people of Earth, there was no problem if it was his own saint. This was because once the faith reached the level of sainthood, then the believer was already with their God. Even if a god turned from good to evil, the saint would follow them with all their heart.

It could be said that a saint was already a part of the true god.

What Louie bestowed Sister Mirda with the power of a legendary rank powerhouse, which was equivalent to a superhuman for earthlings. It was similar to the power shown by the old man from China that Louie pretended to be in Tokyo, just slightly less powerful.

This was in line with the power of an angel in human imagination and was not strong enough to cause a power imbalance on Earth.

Moreover, since Louie had informed the Earth humans that the old man of China was equivalent to a Christian angel in terms of rank, there was a clear contrast that they could base on. This way, Louie’s words had turned a full circle.

Mirda was a pure earthling. Her biography could be found with a search on the internet. She had also received miraculous favors from Christ, who was more authoritative and trusted by the people of Earth compared to the old man of China or the priest of Japan. Louie could consider this move as a kind of multiplier.

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. So go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teach them to practice what I have commanded you, and I will be with you always, even to the end of the world.”

Those in the archbasilica were devout believers who were able to sense the thoughts of God. With Christ Louie’s words, these believers knew that the Lord Christ had fulfilled this heavenly command to save the world once again and was about to return to heaven.

“Lord, how we wish you could stay on earth so that we could listen to your teachings again and so that all the people of this world would know gratitude under your righteousness.”

The believers fell on their knees and wept, grieving over the departure of their deity.

“You shall not mourn, but laugh; I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty!”

Christ Louie showed a smile. His body seemed to turn spiritual as light suddenly appeared above his head which seemed to be connected to another dimension.

There seemed to be hymns singing in the distance. The devotees also seemed to be able to see the sight of heaven with countless angels sprinkling flowers, see the flowers on both sides of the path glowing like radiant gems, and see the river flowing with milk and honey. This place was the most high, most divine, and most sacred, the place of salvation and the return of everything.

With everyone as a witness, Christ ascended to heaven.

The believers again wept loudly, sorrowing and rejoicing over Christ’s departure. They felt moved and longed for the heaven that they witnessed.

“O devout ones, why do you kneel here and look into heaven? Christ, who left you and was taken up into heaven as you saw him, will come again.”

The contemporary saint of Christianity, Mirda, who was turned into an angel by God, saw the weeping believers and said gently.

Listening to the voice of the angel, many believers suppressed their grief and stood up as they paid their respects to this angel on earth.

Even the Pope did the same. Although he was restored to his youth by the gift of Christ, those graces bestowed on him were somewhat less compared to the divine grace received by Sister Mirda.

But Francis I did not feel any jealousy. Instead, he was happy for Mirda, for this proved that she was a truly holy person and had been honored by God.

This was kindness and a miracle that a Church with a true God could display, unlike those churches that pretended to have a god and do evil.

Whether it was the Pope or other clergy, they knew that God would always be with them. If they did not perform goodness as written in the Bible, they would be disqualified from ascending to heaven after death.

……

“Christ has ascended to heaven. He ascended with everyone as a witness.”

When the news of Christ’s ascension spread, the heads of the Christian nations had a short meeting. Christ did not care about mankind seeing His face, so the sight of His ascension was fully recorded.

And now, the heads of these Christian faiths were watching the video.

“The Vatican is also going to be like China now. They have an angel on Earth.”

“That’s right. The Vatican now has a guardian angel. The power of Christianity is going to rise tremendously.”

“But haven’t you noticed? Christianity now has very little political appeal and seems to have become completely divorced from secular matters.”

“It can’t be helped. In the past, no one knew whether God was real or not even if they believed in Him, so naturally, the Vatican would have some political demands. Now that the existence of God has been proven and the Vatican has received divine authority, how could those clergy still allow themselves to be tempted by the seven deadly sins?”

“This is also good. If we encounter unsolvable supernatural events in the future, we can ask the angel of the Vatican to step in and solve them. We are also followers of Christ. Compared to those pagan gods, angels are still more credible, especially Sister Mirda who used to be human. She should be more understanding.”

The news that an angel was born in the Vatican quickly spread around the world. The news made every government envious, even China’s. This was because the Vatican’s angel could be considered the first supernatural power affiliated with an organization on Earth.
