Lightning Eagles!

For a race to use just the lightning element, they were pretty presumptuous. Were they the only eagles using this attribute? In the universe with a myriad of world pillars scattered around and heavenly realms atop these, it would be something more extraordinary than a miracle if that were the case.

In this particular world pillar, however, no eagle could use lightning other than the husband's current enemies! Any other eagle that had attempted to reach the lightning became dead; cleft by the Lightning Eagles' claws.

Thus, no eagle with other attributes dared to meddle them. The worst would be if two different eagles copulated and only one attribute turned out to be dominant. That would be a catastrophe.

While such prestige was rare, even in the world pillar, it didn't come without a price.

Unfortunately for the lightning eagles, they began to feel the price just recently and it all began with the deer's race.

"They also have the direct disciple behind. Just like the silver deer…" Kyoya stated what he learned from the shrine in Silver Wind Deer's tribe. The disciple had called Kyoya and she told him more about them.

It was because Kyoya managed to defeat one of the lightning eagles with his friends.

After learning about another direct disciple, Kyoya also learned about the whole fiasco that had happened in the higher lands.

Apparently, the direct disciple of lightning god wanted to become friends with Wron's friend. Up in the higher realm, the disciples monitoring word pillars often met each other. Their meetings could only go either way.

It would be either a nice talk between them or a competitive verbal battle by comparing achievements of one's race.

If the latter happened, then Wron's friend would have a hard time and she often had to back off. This piqued the interest of the lightning disciple and he lent her a hand. Alas, behind that hand, second thoughts had been coursing.

He wanted to taste and have more than just friendship.

"Don't tell me that she rejected him and now he tortures her race?" To these words, Kyoya could only shrug. It was the perfect situation for the lightning disciple if one excluded how immoral and disgusting it was.

The wind deer's belief couldn't give birth to an ascended race and strengthen their god's ranks, so the lord couldn't bother about them.

Wron's friend had it worse. She just couldn't ask her Lord for the help with how little benefits her race had given to him. Their belief was just that weak and even if the whole race only prayed for thousand years, they wouldn't achieve such a feat.

In a conclusion, "The Lightning Eagles are strong, but they began to feel their direct disciple's wrath. He forces them to bully our friends, disregarding the opinion of the whole world pillar."

"They can't do anything about it, but go roundabout way… Now, I feel a little bad for them. This doesn't mean we won't go hard on them," Kyoya and his friends were ready to oppose this race.

They had been preparing for a week already and the preparations were nearly done.

The world didn't wait, however.

RUMBLE!

The whole world pillar trembled as if announcing something. At the same time, the sky split and revealed the rainbow that flashed with so many colors one wouldn't be able to name them all.

"Kyoya!" Abruptly entering the room, Xiaoxiao entered with Kuro and Hiro's daughter. Both of them were absent when Kyoya explained what he'd learned. His son also couldn't stay for too long in the group with adults.

So Kyoya told Kuro to just play around with Hiro's daughter and other deer.

"It's happening," Kyoya replied, then hugged his son. After he took him up, both of them looked through the window at the sky.

The rainbow was beautiful and mysterious. It had a charm that could rekindle the heart's of  even the oldest and most worn adventurers.

And it was the best comparison.

The hybrid plan began to descend into world pillars!

But what was beautiful at first, quickly turned into a dread for many, as the energies had begun to descend onto the floors. Their fall conjured a dreadful yet unfathomable scene as many wondered what was going on with their hearts hammering them from within.

Kyoya knew.

He knew very well.

"The new era has begun. Why do I feel like I will adapt the best here?" Kyoya smiled and even though he knew that a lot of hybrid weirdos would come out of this outcome, his smile was undisturbed and confident.

Akaro commented through game chat, "Because you are more or less what the gods want to achieve? Shouldn't you begin to use more of god of death's abilities?" The husband was stuck at one particular ability when it came to the god of death, so Akaro didn't raise her paw to just banter with him.

Kyoya knew his goddess cared for him, so he agreed and deeply thought… "Well-" BOOM! The thoughts got cut by the ear-splitting explosion. The ground below them split up, forming a crater that threatened to unleash wind tongues that would slurp any prey inside.

The crater was so wide that Kyoya and his party already kicked the ground. Unfortunately, the party split and two teams got formed.

Kyoya then raised his eyes! "Those damn tsunderes! That's overboard for twenty and even thirty floor adventurers!" The ground split up at first. Then the unknown force dug out mountains and mounds.

All of those flew up and became something akin to the floating islands.

The torrents of winds swept through Kyoya and his party then, "Kuro! Hide in my jack box. It's a dark and quiet space, but you have to endure and wait for me."

"Father, will you be okay?!" Kuro asked with his two small hands clenching Kyoya's shirt. A father smiled widely and nodded.

This smile erased the worry and Kuro disappeared to the jack box. It was an empty box, so the small wolf wouldn't meet anyone. Instead, he would face the darkness and loneliness for the first time.

At the same time, Kyoya turned his eyes to Xiaoxiao and Hana, "At this point, I have to believe in fate." The party got split so that Kyoya's closest would be with him. If it weren't destiny, then what would be?

The husband's magnetic force between the ones he loved?

"I held tightly to your hair," Akaro commented, dismissing the husband's words, "You also held your son tightly. Xiaoxiao and Hana also were closer to you and they unconsciously moved to be by your side."

"Akaro…" Kyoya turned his eyes amidst the storm of elements, "Why did you become more tsundere?"

"..."

"Just agree with me and say that love connects us all. It's sweeter this way, no?"

If that wasn't love, then Hiro and Josef would be here, for example. Kyoya's son never lacked parental love and three women already confessed to him!

It seemed like Akaro became a little too embarrassed and returned to the origin, becoming closer to her past. Thus, she ended up as tsundere that Kyoya often jested. She didn't know what was worse, but Kyoya helped her here.

"It's fine to be tsundere, but don't hide your feelings behind that tsundere shield. Was it sweet?"

"Your words weren't sweet," Though Xiaoxiao and Hana ended up smiling, Akaro's paw patted the husband's hair.

Thus, she didn't feel much of it, "True, deeds spear more than words… I can't see much while you are in cat form. Help us in this chaos, Akaro."

Would Akaro finally appear as a goddess before the husband and someone else other than Xiaoxiao? Honestly, it would be great as Akaro surely would be able to shut down a part of chaos around them.

However, she said, "I will guide you through Xiaoxiao." She left the husband's head and hopped to Xiaoxiao.

"Ah, Akaro! Why are you so hot?" It felt so strange as Xiaoxiao shouldn't feel Akaro's flames to the point where it would bite her.

This exactly felt like that, "Tsundere." Kyoya commented and glanced to the side, "Lightning Tree is falling…"

It was already formidable that it lasted this long.

"Kyoya, I can't hold her…" Xiaoxiao yanked the husband's sleeve faintly. He looked at her blushing with awkwardness as no flame believer should find problems to hold the guardian! However, Akaro was too hot and Xiaoxiao had to put her down.

Looking at the cat on the dangerous ground, "What if you get swallowed by it?" Kyoya teased and extended his hand to bring her back to his head. The cat's hot body didn't hurt him, so it was love.

"Tsundere…" Xiaoxiao pouted and avoided Akaro's glance, causing the goddess to feel dejected. After Akaro's heart quenched a little, she jumped to Xiaoxiao's side. Nonetheless, Xiaoxiao held her for just a second before throwing the cat back to Kyoya.

"Tsundere. What is here to be embarrassed about? I would understand if others were here, but Hana has qualities to become a goddess on her own, so why don't you build some relationship with her? Aren't we a family?"

"Well said, Xiaoxiao. That's why you are the cutest. I love you."

"Hehe! Someone had to finally say it out loud! I love you too!"

"Eh, why am I left out and don't understand even a little of this conversation?" Hana shook her head, then the bright red light assaulted her. It felt like dawn suddenly emerged out of this chaos!

"T-There was someone more beautiful… Husband, you lucky bastard!" Hana commented as such after seeing Akaro's human form. The mature goddess instantly erased Hana's complaints as she made her feel less significant.
