What Winter showed him was evidence of the president's corruption.

"Wait! The president is also involved with Leandro's drug cartel?! No wonder Leandro still managed to get out of the country despite being the most wanted criminal..." Arlan was stunned by what he saw.

"He also stole billions of the country's money in the name of confidential funds." The president promised to support the country's farmers and the working class, but it turns out that he was all talk.

"This bastard!!" Arlan slammed the table when he saw the president's corrupt practices. He was even worse than Leandro.

"If you show this to the commanding general, you might be able to rope him in." Winter suggested.

Arlan pondered deeply. 'The commanding general cares about the welfare of the people so he would certainly be enraged if he learns about this. He might even storm the Malaca?ang Palace to demand an answer from the president.'

"This is too risky. That old man might attack the President. The country would be in chaos and we would have a hard time executing our plans." Arlan shook his head.

"Your words make sense." Surprisingly, Winter agreed with him, but her next words made him dumbfounded. "Then we just need to kill him and put clues that would lead to Leandro being the culprit."

Arlan thought that it was crazy, but upon further thinking, her idea was actually good. They would be able to deal with the president and Leandro would take the fall for them. "That doesn't sound so bad, to be honest. However, it wouldn't be easy to take down the president."

"Indeed. He is a very cautious guy. He invested millions of dollars to employ an entire security company to ensure his safety. There are numerous bodyguards in every place he visits. Even his family is well protected." Winter nodded in agreement.

Arlan recalled the mercenaries who safely escorted them home. "How about we hire the Legion Military Company? Didn't you say that they had an elite force comprised of super soldiers?"

Winter turned silent after hearing his words.

Arlan smiled coldly as he added. "The president is willing to invest millions to ensure his safety, but I don't mind spending more to take his head."

"If it was an ordinary unit, they would certainly fail to assassinate the president, but if it was the Legion Military Company's 'Oorlewende Unit', they might be able to pull it off..." Winter was quite confident in this experimental super soldier unit since she had seen the reports of their exploits. Even an Advanced Artificial Life Form like her admired the soldiers who survived that hellish training.

"Then it's settled. Make contact with the Legion Military Company. It would be better if they come to Maharlika." Arlan smiled. He hadn't seen this Oorlewende Unit yet, but he believed in Winter's judgment.

"Alright..."

***

Three days passed in the blink of an eye and Arlan received good news when he woke up.

The owner of the Legion Military Company was coming to Maharlika to meet him in person! Arlan wanted to see what kind of man could train such terrifying super soldiers.

Arlan didn't want to alert anyone so he secretly sent a group to fetch the owner of the military company from the airport.

It was already 4 p.m. when the guy arrived at the airport.

"So this is Maharlika..." Tafari Zulu mumbled as he stepped out of the plane.

"Boss, why did you have to come here in person?" A subordinate asked in a low voice.

Tafari shook his head as he replied. "How could I not? Did you know how much Arlan Dominic Roa was planning to pay?"

Looking at his subordinate's confused expression, Tafari continued. "1 billion USD. He wants to hire the entire company for that price. Now, do you understand why I came here in person?"

His subordinate was dumbstruck by his words. "1 billion USD?!"

While they were chatting, Tafari suddenly furrowed his eyebrows as he moved his gaze to a certain direction. He noticed a group of men walking towards them. From their posture, he could tell that they were battle-hardened soldiers. "Oh? It seems like Mr. Roa has some capable people..." He revealed a look of interest.

"Hello, Mr. Zulu! I'm Conrad, a subordinate of Mr. Roa. He sent me here to pick you up. The boss didn't want to make a huge commotion so he didn't come here in person. I hope you understand." Conrad introduced himself as he sized up Tafari and his men. Tafari brought four people with him and all of them exuded dangerous auras.

Tafari smiled at him. "No worries. I'm not a petty person."

"Please follow us. We will take you to the boss." Conrad led them out of the airport.

After entering the vehicle, Tafari sized up the people together with Conrad. From his experience, he could feel that this people were elite soldiers who had gone through numerous battles. 'Where did Arlan find these men?'

Soon, they arrived at the mansion in Forbes Park. Tafari was taken aback when he saw the fully equipped soldiers lining up in front of the mansion. They were standing behind two men. One was a dark-skinned man with facial scars, while the other one was a fit man with a noble air.

Tafari had seen Arlan's photo so he identified him immediately. However, the person standing beside him was quite a mystery. He actually had an aura that surpassed the super soldiers trained in his company! 'I thought that Conrad was his strongest subordinate. It turns out that there was a stronger beast at his side.'

"Thank you for coming here in person, Mr. Zulu!" Arlan extended his hand while smiling at him.

Tafari grinned as he grabbed Arlan's hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Roa!"

"We have a lot to talk about. Let's get inside first." Arlan invited him to his home to show his sincerity.

Tafari's subordinates warily glanced at Arlan and the soldiers around them. Their body tensed up after they sensed the threat from the soldiers.
