Bang!

Suddenly, the heavy truck was kicked away by a powerful force, skidding along the magnetized metal road before the pedestrian had unknowing transformed into a large werewolf and gave a mighty howl!

"Awrooo!"

"Awroo—aiya!"

A soft second howl followed shortly before it turned into a cry after Fenriri was given a chop on the head by her master.

"Don't copy it," Albion impassively stated.

"Ow, ow!" Fenriri held her head with both hands, rubbing her sore while at the same time protecting it from further hits from Albion before she complained, "Did you have to it so hard, Master?"

"That was actually quite soft, thought…" Albion muttered before he asked, "Do you want to experience a hard one instead?"

Fenriri immediately straightened up and said, "No, thank you! That is animal abuse, Master!"

"Hm? When did you learn to talk back like this, eh?" Albion was amused.

Nevertheless, the backdoors of the big truck shortly swung open before a squad of law enforcers rushed out and surrounded the werewolf, aiming their taser guns at it.

Pi, pi, pi!

They all fired at once before the male werewolf howled loudly in pain.

It did not take long for the male werewolf to lose strength as its howl quickly died down before it was eventually subdued, reverting to his normal human form.

After the person was moved inside the truck, law enforcers departed.

Albion silently observed the departing truck before he soft muttered curiously, "I wonder what crimes that werewolf guy committed to be hunted down like that…"

"Fenriri is curiously too," Fenriri added while hugging her head.

Albion gave a sideglance before he casually said, "You can put your hands down. I don't have a reason to give you another chop, you know?"

"Oh… okay, that's good," Fenriri nodded with a sigh of relief.

"Psyche!"

Chop!

Albion went in for another chop just as Fenriri let her guard down, causing her to be startled with a cry.

Nevertheless, the chop was even softer than the first time due to Albion's more careful control.

Even so, Fenriri glared at him and complained, "Master, you said you didn't have a reason to chop Fenriri!"

"Muahaha! You need to learn from your mistake. You should never trust another person's words so easily!" Albion chuckled manically before adding, "Besides, why do I need a reason to do what I do?"

"Master is bullying Fenriri!" Fenriri stamped her feet with a complaint.

"Hahaha…" Albion chuckled casually before shaking his head and suddenly said solemnly, "Jokes aside, the people in this city are not weak."

Once Albion mentioned this, Fenriri's expression also turned solemn as she nodded.

"Mm! Just a random werewolf was already at the Aura King Realm like Fenriri's father," Fenriri stated seriously before saying, "Yet such a strong person was taking down so easily with strange weapons."

Albion nodded in agreement.

Normal taser guns on Earth would not have been powerful enough to subdue a cultivator in the Spirit Transformation Realm.

Evidently, these weren't ordinary taser guns but very advanced ones.

"Not only is this city advanced in technology, but the people living in it are also quite adept in their cultivation," Albion softly spoke while inspecting the passing pedestrians in the area as they busied about as per usual after the werewolf's incident died down.

"They are at least at the Innate Realm or higher," Albion stated with a frown.

The swirl of spiritual energy inside their bodies did not escape Albion's silent detection before he shortly smiled wryly.

"Innate Realm was considered rare on Earth, but in this city alone, they have become as cheap as cabbages. You can practically see them everywhere," Albion commented nonchalantly, not that it really mattered to him.

"Master, since this place is so advanced, wouldn't it be easy for them to find out that outsiders have intruded their city?" Fenriri raised an important question.

"Probably," Albion replied casually.

"Probably?" Fenriri was stunned by her master's lack of response before she queried, "Isn't that serious? What if they come and capture us too, Master?"

"What are you worried about? I'm here," Albion stated nonchalantly.

Although they were just simple words, they were very domineering, allowing Fenriri to feel a sense of security and quickly calmed down.

"Right, Master is the strongest!" Fenriri praised with a clenched fist.

Albion smiled slightly before he said, "Let's look around and collect information about this place. Considering this city's level of prosperity, it might have come from an upper realm."

"May Fenriri be so bold as to suggest where to stop by first, Master?" Fenriri asked.

"Oh?" Albion raised an eyebrow with interest before he said with amusement, "Let me guess, you want to drop by that kebab place, right?"

"Uhh…"

Being called out, Fenriri was embarrassed as she scratched her wryly and asked, "How did you know, Master?"

"You're like an open book when it involves food, you know?" Besides, you're drooling," Albion stated.

Fenriri subconsciously wiped her mouth at once but felt nothing slimy before she realized she had been fooled by her master again.

Albion chuckled and strolled ahead without waiting for her.

Shortly after arriving at the kebab shop, Albion eyed the slow-roasting meat on the spit before he asked curiously, "Boss, what kind of meat are you selling?"

Looking at the succulent brown meat oozing with ripe tenderness and glazing with a honey-like surface, it did not look like the usual beef and lamb on Earth, but something else.

Nevertheless, it did not make it any less appetizing as Fenriri began drooling beyond her control while gazing at it spin mouth-wateringly.

"You ask a strange question, young friend," The experienced kebab store owner gazed at Albion weirdly before he said, "It's the usual dragon meat. What else can it be?"

"I see… Then I will have 10 of those kebabs, thanks," Albion ordered while inwardly thinking that communication did not seem to be a problem between them.

"Aiyo, this young friend sure has a big appetite!" the store owner exclaimed with surprise before nodding, "Alright, coming right up!"

Sometime later, the 10 kebabs were prepared, but Albion did not have the local currency required when the store owner charged him.

"Huh? What do you mean you don't have? Are you messing with me?" The kebab store owner's mood quickly soured.

Before Albion could bargain through trading, a man wearing a high-quality black suit suddenly arrived and intervened on his behalf.

"I will pay for them."
