" Sir, Will it really be alright? I am having a terrible feeling about it." Benjiro asked.
" Don't worry. I will try my best. You have my word." Samuel tried to reassure him, but the other party was sweating bullets.
" I am really sick of guessing. Why can't you talk in Japanese? And why are you taking me home? I just got here." Aika was not happy about it. One minute she was sparring, and the next thing she knew, they were moving toward the embassy to take her home.
It was her first time in a foreign country, and she planned to look around. She knew her father would be angry whether she returned today or tomorrow. At least let her have a little fun!
Arthur got a phone call, it was short, but he received critical intel.
" We will see--" Arthur cut him off.
" We have a little problem. I just got the news that along with her father, her grandfather is also there."
" There?"
" At the embassy. They arrived a few minutes ago."
" So, what's the problem?" Joyah asked. She was oblivious to these things.
" Her grandfather is the head of the Yakuza. His presence here is bound to cause trouble." Arthur replied.
ραпdα nᴏνɐ| сom " See, now your grandfather is here. You better straighten us your act before we reach the embassy."
" G-g-graanddpa is h-here? How?" Aika, along with Benjiro, went pale in an instant. Especially, Benjiro, who lost his will to live. He began to struggle inside the car.
" Sir, please throw me out of the car. I would rather die here than face the boss!" He almost got out the window before Joyah dragged her back inside.
" Calm down! Are you crazy?" She was stumped by his erratic behaviour. How crazy was this grandpa to make someone like this?
" Benjiro! Do you not believe me? I said I will make things right. Can't you believe me?" Samuel shouted to talk some sense into him.
Aika, on the other hand, was sitting motionless like a statue. At least there was someone she was afraid of; it would make things easier for Samuel in the future.
They reached the embassy soon; they had three cars in total, which attracted some attention. Arthur looked around to find that the place looked almost deserted. He became suspicious and noticed a van parked in a corner. While there was nothing special about this van, it gave him a bad feeling.
A bug extermination company parked outside a small park. He had enough experience to know what it was used for.
" Young master, It seems that we have some unwanted company. It would be bad if they saw you entering the premises." Arthur said. He also pointed out his speculation and explained his theory.
" I think you are right. But is it common for them to do something like this?" Samuel asked.
" You have to consider the identity of her family. Although they are not directly connected to anything. Everyone knows the people who work under them; it would not be farfetched to assume why they are surveilling the embassy."
" What should we do?" Samuel asked.
" Just sit tight for a few minutes. I will have some of our boys distract them. It was wise to take these cars and spin them around the block a little to throw them off. It will buy some time." Arthur said and took out the radio to report the situation.
They drove around the street, and when they reached to gate again, they saw a car pull up from the corner and lightly bump into the surveillance van. Several more cars pulled up beside them, and the people inside rushed toward the scene to help the driver.
Of course, it was all for show; in those few minutes, Samuel's convoy was already inside the embassy; thanks to Arthur informing the chief, they were not stopped at the gate.
------------------------------------------------------------
" Shit! What the fuck happened?" Trent exclaimed. They were sure someone was pulling up to the entrance, but it was a fake alert. They saw a convoy drive past the entrance, the embassy was located in a high-class area, so it was not uncommon for them to see such type of scene.
He was optimistic that the convoy would stop for a few more seconds at the stop, but his train of thought was interrupted by an accident.
" Sir, someone bumped into our van, " another team member informed him.
" Who is this idiot? It's a four-lane road; how the hell did he crash into our vehicle at the side of the road? Eagle, what's the situation outside?" He asked.
" I see some drunk guy staggering out of the driver's seat. Who gets this drunk in the morning?" The eyes outside focused on the driver.
" What is happening?" Kate, who was connected through the intercom, asked. She had to whisper to prevent other people in the embassy from noticing.
" Nothing. You just focus on the target. We will settle the issue here." Trent reminded her about the mission.
" Nothing unusual is going on inside; I saw them entering the chief of the station's office. They are still inside." Kate reported.
" Try to get the audio."
" Understood, but it will not be easy." It was Kate's turn as she went up to the counter.
" Maam, your passport, please." The employee asked.
" Oh, just one minute." She scrambled her belonging to delay for a few seconds.
" It is not here? I am sorry." She said.
" Is there a problem, ma'am?"
" I must have left it in the restroom. Please give me a few minutes." Kate left the counter without hearing the employee's reply.
Although she had an excellent forgery, she could be exposed if she was too careless. The embassy had a sophisticated network, and she would immediately be detained if they ran her numbers.
As she moved toward the restroom while racking her brains, she noticed a few people entering the embassy. She was shocked to see these people here.
" This is bad. I think something is wrong." Kate immediately contacted the others.
" Kate? What happened? Calm down and report the situation."
" Code black! I just saw TRIGON and Rothschild's youngest heir enter the embassy."
" Are you sure it's him?"
" Yes, I will never forget that face. That old man is here!"
