"Emma, let's go visit that shop." Zack pointed towards the stall at the end of the line. Unlike the other stalls, it was the only one that had all of its items on display.
[ We are not going to meet Hayden? ] Emma asked with a confused look as her eyes wandered off to the tent which was lying a few meters away.
The two humans sitting beside the tent looked extremely bored and seemed to be playing a game of cards.
Despite what many might think, those two were the first line of defense of the king of the underworld.
[ Kalio Greyas (level 50) ]
[ Halio Greyas(level 50) ]
Those were the game notifications that appeared above the two humans upon using inspection. Though level fifty might not sound like a lot if compared to NPCs, it was a very huge gap for the players.

Those were the stats belonging to the number three player in the world.
Zack was currently nine levels behind the two guards and they were just a first line of defense. If the first line was that strong, he couldn't imagine how strong the other lines of defense would be.
To get his mind off the two guards, Zack and Emma stood in front of the shop and eyed the items. In total, the shop had ten items on display.
Each of the ten items was extremely pricey and looked beautiful.
[ Earrings of the wicked: Whoever wears these earrings can use the skill 'blood poke' once a day. ]
[ Bracelets of the bulky: Whoever wears these bracelets will receive a hundred percent buff to their strength stat. ]
[ Ring of the charming: Whoever wears the ring will have an aura of charisma around them which would lower the guard of others between 20% to 75% ]
These were the three items that were displayed on the table in front of the stall owner. The appearance alone was very enticing yet the description of the items made Zack want to buy them.
"How much for these three?" Zack asked the shop owner who was a figure wearing a cloaked purple robe.
"Two thousand gold each." The voice that replied sounded as though it belonged to an aged old woman.
Zack's eyes almost fell out of their sockets when he heard the price of the items. Even buying a single one of them would force him to spend five times the amount of current gold coins he had.
That was two million dollars spent on a single item!
"We will leave…" Zack said with a disheartened look as he and Emma turned around. The latter two had been shocked when she had heard the price of the items.
She was about to suggest Zack to go back and look for another item but she was interrupted by the old woman's laughter.
The owner of the shop was cackling below her hood which made the two figures turn around and stare at her with an amused expression.
"Is there something funny on my face?" Zack asked with a polite smile as the old woman shook her face.
Instead, she raised her wrinkled hand and gestured for the two of them to come closer.
"You can buy two out of these three weapons for only two hundred coins each," She whispered, "However, you will have to spend one night at the prison in the headquarters."
Both Zack and Emma looked at each other while thinking whether they had heard the right thing or not. The lady was saying that she would sell the two items to them for two hundred coins each.
That sure sounded like a scam Daedalus and Icarus would have loved to take part in.
"Are these replicas of the original items?" Zack asked in a low neutral tone while using inspect on her.
[ Cannot be used on another person. ]
He had already expected something similar to pop up. All those who had played or were playing an important part in the game had their information hidden from him and the rest of the players.
"No, they are very much real. I can try using the special skill of the earrings to prove that to you." The old woman raised her right hand towards the earrings.
Zack's hand immediately snapped forward and snatched the earrings right under her hand. He knew how fearsome of a skill it could be and had no plans of it being used against him.
"Here," Zack handed four hundred gold coins to the old woman. "I will be taking the bracelet and the earrings with me."
Zack snatched the two bracelets from the counter too before placing both objects in his inventory.
The old woman grinned inside her cloak as she suddenly flicked her finger in the duo's direction. A red magic circle appeared above their heads as their hands were suddenly handcuffed.
[ Penalty for not being able to pay 10 gold coins. ]
[ You will have to spend the next twenty-four hours inside the prison. ]
"Good luck kids." The woman's lips curled up into a smile as she saw the duo being sucked by the red magic circle.
After they had vanished, she looked at the last remaining item on the counter in front of her. With a sigh, she picked up the ring and slipped it into her finger.
Originally, she only had seven items to sell to customers. The three on the counter were items she had worn herself and used frequently.
'I hope my feeling isn't wrong…' The old woman thought silently as she remembered the feeling that had spread through her body upon seeing the two youngsters.
It had been a long time since she had felt that feeling pass through her body and yet, it was still the same as the first time.
'I hope you are the one, Zack.' She thought one last time before lying back in her chair and closing her eyes.
