Soo Yin was already in the kitchen with her hands in her pockets. She smiled when she saw her husband seemed excited to move his hand that was holding the knife. His muscular body made Soo Yin couldn't bear to approach him, then hugged him from behind.
Dae Hyun was slightly surprised when a hand wrapped around his waist. But after lowering his gaze, he knew that it was Soo Yin's hand.
"Honey, you said you're very hungry now. If you bother me like this I won't be able to cook it properly," said Dae Hyun who stopped his activities and turned his head back.
"I just want to hug you for a while," Soo Yin said while burying her face in Dae Hyun's back. Smell the masculine scent that always intoxicated her.
Dae Hyun just took a deep breath and let Soo Yin do what she wanted. He didn't want to hurt her feelings.
"What are you going to cook?" said Soo Yin who poked her head slightly forward without letting go of her embrace.
"I wanted to make Kimchi Bokkeumbap. I wanted to make something else but because you are hungry I'll make one that can be served quickly," said Dae Hyun, starting to peel the spices and vegetables even though Soo Yin's hug was quite disturbing.
"Can I cook it? I'm a wife but you're the one who cooks most of the time when we're at home together." Soo Yin pursed her lips, feeling uneasy.
"Didn't I tell you, I'll cook when we're together? Don't worry because I feel very happy to be able to do everything for you." Dae Hyun turned around and smiled at Soo Yin.
"It's up to you," Soo Yin said, breaking away then walking towards the dining table to sit down and wait.
"It won't take long, wait a moment," said Dae Hyun, who immediately quickly sautéed the spices and then put some complementary ingredients into the pan.
Soo Yin just watched the man who was moving the spatula in a pensive state. Suddenly the memory of how Park Soo Hyun had forcibly tore her clothes made the fear come back.
Soo Yin covered her face with her palms as she shuddered in horror if such a bad thing had happened.
Dae Hyun watched Soo Yin who shook her head with her palms covering her face. Feeling worried, Dae Hyun then walked over to her. Previously, he had turned down the heat so that it wouldn't burn.
"Honey, are you all right?" Dae Hyun asked as he took Soo Yin's hand and lowered it from her face. He could see a drop of water was running down her cheek.
Soo Yin looked at Dae Hyun with a sad and frightened look. Dae Hyun hastily hugged her tightly.
'Park Soo Hyun, be prepared, if we meet I will make you pay for everything,' Dae Hyun thought even more furiously. His hands that were behind Soo Yin's back clenched tightly.
"Honey, I'm sorry that I couldn't take good care of you. From tomorrow on we will always be together. I won't leave you alone anymore," said Dae Hyun, gritting his teeth tightly and determinedly.
"I'm fine," Soo Yin said, trying to be calm and not make her husband feel anxious. Immediately wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes with the back of her hand.
"Tomorrow, come with me to the UN Village," said Dae Hyun as he let go of his hug.
Soo Yin lifted her face with knitted brows.
"What for?" asked Soo Yin with a confused look on her face and a scrutinizing look. Suspected if her husband was up to something.
"Nothing. Maybe mom misses you, haven't you two seen each other for a long time?" Dae Hyun couldn't possibly say everything right now because Soo Yin wouldn't agree to it.
"We haven't seen each other for a few days. Mother seems very disappointed in me, even though her attitude is still normal, but the warm smile that usually radiates from her face ... now I feel it differently," said Soo Yin with a gloomy face.
"There's no need to worry. If mom finds out you're my wife. Her attitude will definitely go back to how it used to be and feel very happy to have a daughter-in-law as kind as you." Dae Hyun embraced Soo Yin's face. He wanted to kiss those luscious lips even if it was only for a moment but Dae Hyun refused to do so. Afraid that Soo Yin was still traumatized by what just happened.
Soo Yin suddenly inhaled another scent so her nose sniffed to see what smell that she smelled.
"Honey, it looks like your food is burnt," said Soo Yin.
Dae Hyun immediately let go of Soo Yin and then rushed to the front of the stove to see the fried rice that was still on the burning stove. Hadn't stir it for too long made the bottom burn.
"Ah, damn it. Why should it burn?" Dae Hyun grumbled in annoyance, when the food should have been cooked but he had to start over again from the beginning.
"Dae Hyun, can we cook something else? I want to eat grilled squid or grilled crab," said Soo Yin. It crossed her mind if at night eating something burned tasted good.
"Okay, I'll prepare the ingredients," Dae Hyun said as he opened the refrigerator to take out all the ingredients because it so happened that Aunt Xia just bought fresh fish yesterday.
Soo Yin only helped prepare the cooking utensils, taking them out of the cupboard. According to her, homemade food was not as delicious as if someone else cooked it.
"Honey, can we grill it outside?" asked Soo Yin.
"We better stay inside because it's very cold outside," Dae Hyun said gently because he didn't want to take the risk if Soo Yin got sick from the cold.
"I want to go outside," Soo Yin whined with a frown.
If she had put on a face like this, Dae Hyun will not be able to refuse his little wife's request.
"Okay." Dae Hyun was forced to obey Soo Yin's request. Immediately shifted the table on the kitchen terrace. Brought all the equipment there.
Soo Yin just sat there, watching her husband who was grilling various seafood.
"Is there something funny?" Dae Hyun said while narrowing his eyes.
"No, at this rate you look like a professional chef. Why don't we set up a restaurant and you become the chef?" Soo Yin said with a sparkling face.
"Hmm, that seems like a good idea. I'll think about it later. But you shouldn't be upset if a lot of women want to enjoy my cooking." Dae Hyun winked to tease Soo Yin.
"I will always be beside you. If they mess up, be prepared to face me," said Soo Yin.
Dae Hyun just smiled at the idea of his little wife.
They ended up enjoying dinner outside accompanied by the cold snow that slowly started to fall more and more heavily.
Soo Yin smiled happily because Dae Hyun always granted all of her requests. When she was happy, Soo Yin didn't want to give up on achieving the perfect happiness.
