The village chief finally brought Soo Yin and Park Soo Hyun into his house. He wanted to know what really happened. As a village chief, he can't just listen to one side.
"You'd better stay here, let me take care of them," said the village chief to the residents who wanted to come into the house.
"Hurry up, we can't wait to punish them!"
The village chief asked his men to stand guard at the door. Blocked residents who insisted on entering.
"Miss, have a seat," said a middle-aged woman. She smiled gently while leading Soo Yin to sit on the floor.
Park Soo Hyun also sat down. With a firm determination he will take responsibility for marrying Soo Yin, if that was the case. It wasn't difficult for him. It was a very good opportunity.
Now the village chief was sitting in front of them. As a leader he was very authoritative and calm. It can be seen from the look on his face and when he spoke.
"Please explain, werr you really doing what people said?" said the village chief with a flat face.
"We didn't do anything, sir," said Park Soo Hyun. Then he began to tell a little, how they got caught by local residents.
The village chief tried to look for the lie in Park Soo Hyun's eyes but couldn't find it. He thought if they were honest.
"Can you contact someone to come here? It's used as a witness if you're not lying," said the village chief. The residents were already angry so it was difficult to quell it.
"Yes, sir. But my cell phone was taken by the residents," said Park Soo Hyun.
"Wait a moment." The village chief then clapped his hands several times until his men entered.
The Village Chief whispered something to his men before finally leaving.
"Why did you come home so late from teacher Cheon's place? Can't you take a shortcut that isn't too far away?" asked the village chief.
Master Cheon's martial arts school was not a foreign place so it was certain that the citizens at the foot of the mountain knew about it.
"When we were going home it was snowing pretty hard. The stairs would be very slippery so we decided to take this road," said Park Soo Hyun.
"Hmmm, I'm actually sure if you don't do anything. But the residents really don't like it when a couple is in a quiet place," said the Village Chief with a long sigh. Thought of the citizens who really liked to take the law into their own hands.
Soo Yin just listened while looking down languidly. She tucked herself into a wet sweater.
"Miss, drink so that your body becomes warmer," said the Village Chief's wife very kindly.
"Thank you, madam," said Soo Yin. Then she grabbed a cup and took a sip of the drink the waiter had just brought.
Park Soo Hyun looked at Soo Yin's messy face with pity. It turned out that his choice to take another route actually resulted in something like this.
Her beautiful face was covered by messy strands of hair. Her eyelids were puffy from crying. Her clothes were dirty because the residents pushed them to the ground.
'Soo Yin, I promise to be responsible for all of this,' ~ thought Park Soo Hyun with a sad expression.
"Are you two in a special relationship?" asked the village chief suddenly.
"Cough… cough… cough…." Soo Yin's throat felt tight when she heard it. The water that was in her mouth spouted luckily only on her clothes, luckily not anyone else's.
"Soo Yin, are you all right." Park Soo Hyun helped wipe Soo Yin's wet clothes.
"It's okay, the drink is just a little too hot on my tongue," said Soo Yin.
"Miss, come with me inside. Better change into your wet clothes. I just so happen to have a daughter your age," said the middle-aged woman with a smile etched on her lips. Seeing Soo Yin can erase the longing for her daughter who is studying abroad a little.
"Thank you, Madam." Soo Yin obediently stood up and followed in the footsteps of the village chief's wife. Even though her wound has dried up, her feet still hurt.
In the living room Park Soo Hyun continued the chat with the Village Chief. It wasn't long before a man entered. Then handed Park Soo Hyun's cell phone.
================================
Pyeongchang-dong villa.
Dae Hyun just got back from the hotel. Lots of work piled up so he had to go home late. He also did not have time to contact his little wife today. What annoyed him even more was that Park Soo Hyun came but left again.
"Master, you just got home," said Aunt Xia, who had also just entered the house. She had recently returned from where her sibling was grieving.
"Did Auntie just come home too?" Dae Hyun said.
"It's been an hour, I was just about to deliver food for Miss Soo Yin," said Aunt Xia who already had a tray of food in her hand.
"Let me carry it upstairs," Dae Hyun asked as he grabbed the tray that Aunt Xia had brought.
The middle-aged woman actually wanted to refute but Dae Hyun had already stepped up the stairs.
Dae Hyun turned the door knob, the room was dark. He then groped the wall to find a switch to turn on the light.
It was quiet, there was no Soo Yin who was usually lying in bed when he came home.
Dae Hyun then placed the tray on the table. His heart immediately beat wildly. Anxiety and worry immediately entered his mind.
He hurriedly went to the bathroom to make sure if Soo Yin was there. His wife could have slipped in the bathroom and no one knew about it.
Brakk…
The bathroom door opened very loudly as it hit the wall. Again no one was in the bathroom.
"Soo Yin, where are you right now?" Dae Hyun rubbed his face angrily because he felt so frustrated.
