Not long after, the doctor checked him, starting from his heart rate which began to stabilize, his blood pressure was also normal.
"How is my son, Doctor? Will he wake up soon?" said Mrs. Park, hoped that the doctor will have some good news about his son. Half a month was a very long time for her. She missed Park Soo Hyun who liked to joke with the little things.
"Actually there is an improvement in the condition of his body and other vital organs but we can't say for sure when he will wake up," the doctor said.
"Then I have to go see another patient," said the doctor, who had been there for half an hour.
"Thank you, Doc," Park Ji Hoon said.
The male doctor named Wang smiled and left the room. Every time he checked Park Soo Hyun, he actually didn't have the heart to give too high hopes for his family. But it was also impossible for him to break the spirit of the woman who had given birth to him.
"Park Soo Hyun, wake up quickly," said Mrs. Park while stroking his son's hair. She sat on a chair with her eyes always fixed on Park Soo Hyun.
"Be patient, I'm sure he'll wake up soon." Every day, Park Ji Hoon tried to strengthen his wife.
After making sure the Doctor was out, Jean and Soo Yin took turns going into the room to say goodbye to go home. While Dae Hyun had already gone out first.
"Mother, we go home first," Soo Yin said with a heavy sigh.
"Okay, honey. Thank you for being willing to comply with my request to accompany Park Soo Hyun every night," Mrs. Park said while holding Soo Yin's hands.
"It's okay, Mother," Soo Yin said. She did her best to etched a small smile on her lips.
"I'm going home too, madam," said Jean.
"Thank you too, Jean. You want to accompany Soo Yin even though you are not too close to Park Soo Hyun," said Mrs. Park who looked at Jean's downcast eyes.
Jean just nodded her head nervously.
Before leaving, Soo Yin took her bag and coat. Just as they closed the door to leave, Shin-hye came with her husband.
Shin-hye seemed to remember Soo Yin's face that seemed familiar in her eyes. They had met several times.
"Good morning, Auntie," Soo Yin greeted kindly.
"Aren't you Park Soo Hyun's lover?" Shin-hye started to remember that it was Soo Yin who came to Hyun Bin's wedding at that time.
Soo Yin only smiled faintly, didn't dare to respond to Shin-hye's words.
"Be patient, Park Soo Hyun will surely wake up soon. He is very lucky to have a lover like you who is always faithful to accompany him," said Shin-hye while patting Soo Yin's shoulder.
It was as if something hard had stabbed into Soo Yin's heart. It was a very inappropriate compliment to her. Instead she felt that here the person who should be responsible for Park Soo Hyun was her. However, Soo Yin wouldn't dare to say it because she was too cowardly.
"You must be tired after waiting here last night. Now go home and rest," said Shin-hye.
"Thank you, Auntie. Then we go home first," said Soo Yin.
As she passed through the corridors and elevators to the lower floors, Soo Yin remained silent and gloomy. She didn't say a word even though Jean was with her.
"Soo Yin, don't feel guilty like that. Maybe God has arranged it," Jean said to give a little support.
"Thank you, Jean. You are my true best friend," said Soo Yin. She really felt ashamed of Jean about last night.
Soo Yin thought Dae Hyun had already returned to the UN Village. But apparently the man was still in the parking lot. He sat in the front of the car, while squinting his eyes to block out the glare of the sun.
Soo Yin walked over to her husband, maybe there was something he wanted to say before going home.
"Why aren't you home yet?" Soo Yin asked while frowning.
"Of course I'm waiting for you," said Dae Hyun with his arms folded across his chest.
"I thought you left first," said Soo Yin, Then she turned to Jean.
"Jean, come home with us," Soo Yin said.
"No need, I better go home alone because I want to go somewhere. You guys be careful on the road," said Jean.
Before Soo Yin could answer, Jean had already walked quickly out of the hospital area. Stood on the side of the road waiting for the taxi to come. It wasn't long before the taxi stopped in front of her so Jean got in and left them.
Soo Yin just sighed softly while observing Jean, the taxi she was riding slowly couldn't be seen. Already drove through the streets of early morning in Seoul.
"Let's go home, I still want to sleep," Dae Hyun said. Then he opened the door for Soo Yin to get into the car.
It was a coincidence that he didn't come to work today so Dae Hyun used it to rest at the Pyeongchang-dong villa. He didn't want to go back to the UN Village because yesterday he had just been there to see his son.
Soo Yin was silent as Dae Hyun ordered to get into the car.
The car was now slowly moving on the highway, Dae Hyun didn't dare to drive his car too fast because Soo Yin was with him. So the he drove the car very slowly. After the accident that happened to Park Soo Hyun, he was a little more careful if he brought someone else with him, especially if it was his wife.
"Why so slow?" Soo Yin grumbled.
The car had been driving for half an hour but they were still halfway distance to get to the Pyeongchang-dong villa. Even though at normal speed they should have arrived.
"Be patient for a moment, I just want to be careful," Dae Hyun said without turning his face to Soo Yin. His gaze was fixed on the front.
