Alex returned to his room and watched how the gate disappeared into thin air. He then scanned the whole room and noticed not a single of them there.
"Now I am alone in this room…" Alex muttered to himself and sat on his bed, looking down as a certain matter flashed in his mind.
"Killing huh…"
"Who can I actually kill? It didn't flash in my mind before, but when I took another look at all my previous battles. The soldiers from the Southern Kingdom, or the disciples from Joyful Union Sect, all of them only followed the order from the higher up…
"Should I spare them? But what if they become someone like John? It might not affect me soon, but how about a few hundred years later? A thousand years later? They might become strong enough to the point they are called a Peerless Genius. And at that time, they might come to bite me…"
"However, if I kill them, they have their own families that are waiting for them back home. Some of them might also have a peerless talent… Ugh, am I overthinking about this?" Alex laid on his back. "They are not like those people from the Zhou Kingdom or Black Devil Sect… With how they killed to get stronger, I didn't feel anything from them now. What should I do?"
The system didn't say anything. Instead, she sent a notification with only a single thing on it.
[Gacha Sovereign (Title)]
"…" Alex opened his mouth in surprise. Not only the notification startled him, but it also gave him inspiration. "I see… I can see our relationship with my title. I didn't use this thing for a long time because I thought it could only be used for one person at a time.
"Now that I think about it, I can see this in the middle of the battle. If the strings classify them as enemies, it means they are harboring hatred and might come back for me. If the strings are white, it means they are scared of me and choose to become a stranger in the future.
"Why didn't I think about it earlier?" Alex gritted his teeth. "Although the effective range wasn't that far and it took a long time to verify them, it could leave innocent people to see tomorrow… I have said it to Rose… Take care of the one in their back first, such as their leader, before taking the lesser problem.
"If I took the life of the king of the Southern Kingdom in the past and killed the soldiers that had red strings… I think I can spare a few thousand of them."
Alex gradually closed his eyes as if something moved in his heart. It seemed the uneasiness from killing the two influences affected him deeply. He seemed to have decided it in his heart after taking a look at this.
"Enemies… I will keep killing in the future. Even if I need to kill millions, if not billions, I will kill. I will create a reputation where people will fear me, so my name alone can protect my family even if I am not there. However, in this action, I also won't kill innocents… Punishing them might be more suitable." Alex took a deep breath as the weight had been lifted from his heart.
Alex couldn't help but smile and closed his eyes to sleep. "I will relax for a few weeks first before doing anything."
Alex finally fell asleep.
The next day.
Alex opened his eyes, realizing that his body had been moved. Someone even put a blanket on top of him.
When he looked to the left, he found Sherry snuggled his arm. Looking at this, he suddenly checked the whole room but found no one else.
"Did she sneak in? Still, I should be able to sense her… Or was I that tired yesterday?" He fell into deep thought. If he could sleep like that so easily, it would be bad if he had a single sleep outside, but there was also another possibility. He just trusted the others to protect this place, so he wouldn't need to worry about the outside world.
Thinking about that, Alex smiled and slowly rose from his bed, leaving Sherry alone on the bed. He then headed outside, walking around to find Anya.
Anya, on the other hand, stopped handling her job after sensing his presence and smiled. "It seems you have resolved the problem in your heart."
"Yeah." Alex smiled. "Sorry for making you worry."
"We are helping each other, and there is nothing wrong with that. Besides, I only gave you some advice instead of a solution."
"Everything matters. It's because of those, I can see the matter with a clear vision. In any case, thank you Anya."
"In that case, I will accept the thanks. Well, I think you don't need to say thanks to your family because it's the natural thing to do. It makes us a bit distant instead."
"Yeah. I can understand that… Still, if it's a big thing, I guess we still need to say it." Alex smiled.
"Anyway, when are we setting off today?"
Alex thought for a moment and asked. "Before that, where is everyone?"
"Everyone has their own job. As for those who are going today… Firia is in her room, busy with Alchemy. Anna is training Rose outside. I don't know where Sherry is, but Letizia is preparing a few things to give to her mother."
"Well, Sherry was with me in bed earlier. She seemed to sneak inside."
"What?!" Anya opened her mouth in surprise. "She has surpassed me in terms of shamelessness… To think she thinks about sneaking in when you are too tired. No, I will discipline her after this."
"Ahaha… It's fine. Anyway, we are going to go around the world without directions and stop in a good place or something to relax. And I think I won't bother visiting cities because troubles might ruin our good day, especially those who have d*ck but no brain." Alex shrugged.
"Sure. We can go to the beaches, mountains, or other places. In fact, spending times like a picnic seemed to be more fun for me." Anya agreed with his plan.
"That's good." Alex nodded before turning back. "I am going to call Anna. Can you get Firia and Letizia here?"
"Sure." Anya rose from her seat and stored her works inside the Inventory.
After gathering the people here, Anna led them to the Teleportation Stone.
Letizia was surprised at the sight of the stone. It was a floating stone that seemed to be powered by the blue lines on its surface.
"You haven't seen this one?" Alex furrowed his eyebrows.
"I have heard about it, but I haven't seen it." Letizia shook her head.
"Anyway, there are five stones like this in this world. Each of them is located on every continent, so we can go to another continent with single teleportation. Just pour the Spirit Crystal and activate the rune… How about you try it right now?" Alex stretched his hand, asking her to touch the stone.
"Eh? I think Master should be the one…" Letizia looked down. She was afraid she would break this stone because she knew the worth of the stone itself.
"It's fine. Just use it." Alex shook his head, grabbed her hand, and placed it on the stone's surface. "Channel your energy inside."
Since she had touched it, she closed her eyes and channeled her Spiritual Energy according to Alex's instruction.
Suddenly, information came into her mind, telling her what to do. She opened her eyes in surprise. "This…"
"The first information is about the cost of the transfer. It's calculating the number of people in this room, together with the range to another stone. After that, you can choose which stone you want to go in your mind." Alex nodded. "How about you try it now?"
Letizia hesitated for a second before nodding her head. She then poured Spirit Crystals to the floor as it started getting absorbed by the stone. The information then came to her mind as she selected the stone according to the information Anya gave. It was supposed to be the stone in the Willow Continent.
"Good. Activate the stone now." Alex nodded after seeing the stone lit up.
Letizia poured more energy into the stone before the light swallowed them, teleporting them to the Special Realm in the Willow Continent.
When she opened her eyes, she was shocked after arriving in a strange area.
"This is a forest?"
"Yes. I made a Special Realm here to hide this stone. We are located not too far to Heavenly Sword Sect, but I don't think I have a matter with them." Alex shrugged. At first, he wanted to meet Charya to inform her about Song Yu, but he decided to let her handle the matter herself.
He wanted to see what kind of expression Charya made when she suddenly knew Song Yu had finally found a man. Unfortunately, he couldn't see it.
"I understand. I have memorized the map, so we should go to the east." Letizia nodded.
"Yeah." Alex then walked outside the Special Realm with his token before turning around. "You can enter all my Special Realms with my token, so just get it from the Inventory. I won't be able to accompany you on your return journey since I will still be spending my time with them."
"Yes, Master. After I have finished my matter, I will go back to the Heavenly Continent, awaiting your next plan." Letizia nodded.
"Then, let's go." Alex snapped his finger, teleporting them using the array. Although he couldn't pinpoint the location, Letizia immediately realized if they almost arrived, so they changed to flying.
…
One hour later.
Alex stood in front after seeing the Rainbow Flower Sect on the horizon. Their place was close to the harbor that led to Nilis Continent, so Alex found the sea behind it.
"It's a good view from here. The town seems to be brimming with people as well." Alex squinted his eyes.
"Now that I think about it, I think it's that time already…" Letizia thought for a moment and muttered.
"Time for what?"
"The disciple enrollment. In any case, I can have someone guide us so as to not make a big drama over there since there should be one or two elders overseeing the process." Letizia nodded and felt relieved. She thought she needed to sneak in with her power just to go back home, and she was afraid no one recognized her because she had changed.
Alex looked at her for a moment and nodded. "Sure. I will follow you from behind this time. Still, it's been a few years since you last met with your mother… Isn't it nice to finally go home?"
Letizia widened her eyes for a few seconds before she smiled from ear to ear. "Yes!"
