279 Practice
Alex thought for a while before deciding to stay for a while inside Nemu Forest. He would need around a month then another month to practice a few arrays. He had time to do that before going back to the sect.
Even if he went back to the sect and cultivated there, he would need a total of three weeks to go back there and come back here and go back again.
He also wanted to take advantage of this post chaotic war situation. If he killed the Kasmanan family around this time, the Southern Kingdom might think it was them who did it.
He had decided on his plan. He was going to call back Anna and the rest here to let them hunt around this area while protecting him. Then he would take two months to prepare for his revenge. After that, he would take the Array Master Test. Maybe he will also take the Alchemist test if he could also practice rank 4 pills around this time.
Then he would take revenge before going back to Heavenly Sword Sect. But it might only take him two and a half months, and he might be able to extend it for another two weeks to ensure he could practice his alchemy skill.
After that he will challenge the Battle Tower since it might be the requirement he would need to participate in the Tournament. He had decided his plan, so time to tell the other spirits.
"Anna, tell everyone that I'm going to summon everyone here." He said to Anna's card.
"Is it for the war?"
"No, the war should be over now. The enemy should be on their way back to the Zhou Kingdom."
"Do we need to chase them?"
"No. It is enough for the time being. We will increase our group strength first." Alex shook his head. After all, in that group, only Anna and Fabio were a Martial Lord.
"Alright. We are ready." Anna said.
"Summon."
All his spirits appeared in front of him, except Nicole and Nelson, as well as Salijan and Wright.
"Here is the plan. I'm going to have close door cultivation in this forest so we might need to make a base. All of you might need to hunt around this area for the time being.
"I will then have my revenge. I have told you the plan before since I'm going to use arrays to kill them. Then I will take rank 4 Array Master test as well as rank 4 Alchemist take. Hopefully, I have time to do that.
"Then we are going to go back. You can choose to hunt here or around the sect. But Anna will follow me back. Ngina will help Nicole to cover this area."
"Alex, where are you going to take the test?" Anna asked.
Alex just realized it. Hee didn't know where to take the test. He never knew where he could find an Array Master Guild. He forgot about this. He didn't know why but he wanted to ask Nelson at this moment.
"Nelson, do you know where I can find the Array Master Guild?" He immediately took out Nelson's card and asked him. Nelson was a reliable man that knew everything in his mind. Maybe he was too dependent on him?
"There are only eight Array Master Guilds in this continent. They are situated in every capital city. In other words, each of them was in Capital City or the city in front of four big sects."
"..." Alex looked down, weighing something in his mind. Anna also heard about their conversation.
"Alex, if we are going with your plan. It might not be a good idea to take the test in the Southern Kingdom's capital city." Anna said. Since they were going to destroy the Kasmanan Family, it would be terrible to stand out by taking the test in that place.
Alex nodded. According to Nelson, he would need to pass Mount Hua Sect's territory. Then he had two options. He could take the test in that place or in Heavenly Sword Town.
But taking the test in Heavenly Sword Town would possess a certain risk. He might be found out by the people in the sect since the people around that place would be their sect people.
He finally decided to take the test in Mount Hua Sect's territory. He would just take the test briefly and immediately went back. Even if he were found out, he would have long gone from that place before the sect started searching for him.
"Alright. I will take the test at Mount Hua Sect's territory. Since the Alchemist is easy to find, I can just take it everywhere. Even a slightly bigger city should be enough to issue a Rank 4 Alchemist identity."
All of them nodded. But before that, since he would stay in this place for a long time, Alex should tell Putri about this. He might as well give some information about Blood Pill and Berserk Pill as well as a bit of Zhou Kingdom's information. She can be his messenger for the time being to inform the sect.
Alex took out an empty book that he got from Maxwell. Maxwell had so many books, but he already filled what he needed to fill. There were still a few blank books, so Alex ripped a few pages of paper.
After he finished, he gave it to Njomo.
"Njomo, please help me to give this to Senior Sister, okay? Just make sure you are not found out by others."
"Woof!"
"Then, Young Master, I also should take my leave," Ngina said. After all, Alex and the others will search for a base after this, so he was not needed here.
Alex nodded to him. He then looked at the spirits, "Let's go."
After a few hours of searching, they found a perfect spot to be their base. It was a cave a bit deep inside Nemu Forest and was camouflaged well. They were sure the Southern Kingdom couldn't find this place.
The cave was spacious, but the entrance was small. "Sherry, Kyle, come out."
"Chirp!"
Kyle came out, but surprisingly Sherry didn't come out. It perplexed him. He tried to make Sherry come out forcefully. But what he found was Sherry in a deep sleep. "Sherry?"
"Chirp Chirp!" Kyle wanted to explain something to Alex, but Alex still couldn't understand him.
Alex also knew that Kyle wanted to say something. He activated his Spirit Eyes and took a look at Sherry. Her Spiritual Energy was stable... In fact, there was nothing obvious that could possibly harm her.
"Oh, Sherry is going to have a breakthrough to the Martial Lord Stage." Anna appeared out of nowhere.
The spirits were supposed to be hunting at the moment.
"I come back to tell you about our plan. Since we have three Martial Lords and three Martial Grandmasters. We are going to split up into three groups. Each group will have a Martial Lord and one Martial Grandmaster.
"Fabio will pair up with Vera. Leoz is with Greg. And I am with Jeanne. After all, this forest is a bit dangerous for Martial Grandmasters."
"Alright. But what do you mean about Sherry? Is she having a breakthrough?"
"Yes. Sherry will have a deep slumber when she will break through to another realm. Judging from her look, she didn't look like she was hurt by something, so I know that she must be in the process of a breakthrough. You can ask Kyle about it, right, Kyle?"
"Chirp Chirp!" Kyle nodded his head furiously.
"Since she is inside your body this entire time. It doesn't mean she and Kyle did nothing. They also can cultivate inside your body. Sherry was a peak Grandmaster when we left Zwaka's place. So, she becomes like this is not strange."
"I see." Alex nodded as Sherry disappeared from his hand. He made Sherry go back inside.
"Are you going to cultivate after this?"
"Yeah, I will cultivate as soon as I make Gathering Arrays for them and me."
"How about using your Gacha Tickets first? I think we made a decent amount of tickets in this war. It might not be comparable to Zwaka's place, though." Anna said.
"Hmm..." Alex contemplated a bit, then shook his head. "Nah, I will wait after I finish cultivating."
"Alright. Then I'm going."
"Yes. Be careful." Alex nodded his head before giving a goodbye kiss. Anna then disappeared.
"System, Have I triggered or completed any missions?"
[You have triggered two missions, but you have not completed any missions.]
[Mission: Promise
Description: Destroy Devil Blood Sect
Reward: 50 Premium Tickets]
[Mission: Inner Disciple Tournament
Description: #1
Reward: 10 Premium Tickets or 1 Special Summon Ticket(UR)]
"System, this tournament mission... especially the description..."
[Don't sweat the small stuff.]
"..." Alex chuckled. "Then tell me about this Special Summon Ticket."
[You can summon one UR spirit on your choice.]
Alex didn't know why, but after showing her appearance, his system seemed to be more easygoing. He decided not to think about that.
"Alright. It is a bit disappointing. I didn't complete any missions, but at least I got two new missions."
[Yes. I am your system, Host. My purpose is to support you. If Host holds a promise or desire, I will give you a mission. But eventually, I am only your power, and I won't do anything to endanger you. You will be the one who decides whether to finish the mission or not. Of course, no penalty.]
Alex smiled a bit, "Yeah. I know. Thank you for that."
[Your Welcome, Host]
Alex then made two rank 3 Gathering Array for him and Kyle. After that, he started cultivating.
...
The next day, in the Southern Kingdom's Capital City, Jimu. After the war finished, Putri came back to her house in the capital city, specifically Makmur Family.
The king was aware of her contribution to this war. Because of her information, The Southern Kingdom was not destroyed. Instead, they could win the war with the best possible result in such a situation.
Her name reverberated throughout the whole kingdom. Each big family sent their present to her, and even the royal family will reward her for her contribution tomorrow. She was exhausted dealing with those people.
She sat on a rock while watching the night sky in her courtyard. She sighed. It was not her contribution. She only became something like a messenger for them.
All of her information came from Alex and that yellow-haired guy. She didn't do anything at all. She was feeling guilty to hog all this reward.
"Woof Woof!'
Suddenly, she heard a dog barking on her left. She found a black dog, carrying papers on his mouth.
It was Njomo. Because of her busy schedule, Njomo couldn't find the right time to give this information to Putri. He finally got his chance tonight.
Putri became alarmed by the sudden appearance of Njomo. She probed Njomo's cultivation and found him to be a Grandmaster Stage monster. She was surprised as she immediately took his spear.
Njomo didn't do anything. Instead, he just put the papers on the ground and retreated a few meters back.
She was confused by this. Njomo seemed to be telling her to get the papers. But seeing Njomo was a Grandmaster Stage monster. She couldn't let her guard down.
She tried to approach the papers slowly while her eyes still focused on Njomo. She grabbed the papers and retreated a few steps.
She glanced at the papers a little and found two big words on it. And looked at Njomo again.
"From Alex."
But when she realized it was from Alex. She couldn't help but give another glance. But when she changed her view to Njomo again. Njomo had disappeared.
She dropped the papers in shock and tried to find the dog in her surroundings but to no avail.
She then picked up the papers and started reading it. Just when she began reading it, and without her knowing, her jaw had dropped. A few minutes later, she became a frozen statue. When she finished reading the whole letter, she unconsciously dropped the letter again.
