Fourth Scourge of Star Wars

"Did he tell you that it would take him a long time, Sis? It's already been more than 3 months and our husband hasn't returned!" 

Long Yuyin's voice full of worry was directed towards Zhang Xinya. Her eyes then scanned Yun Mengxin who was sitting in front of them as she kept much of her aura extending into the sky and in all directions.

Despite displaying a strong and confident bearing, Zhang Xinya still felt quite anxious at the thought of Ling Tian. Before leaving, Ling Tian had told her that he would enter the void to refine his body to the limit in order to prepare to achieve the true immortal body. "Will there be a problem with Grandmaster?" Xuanyuan Ling asked as she frowned. Her eyes filled with worry as well. 

Beside her, Zhen Bingluo commented as she looked at Yun Mengxin and then at the sky. Even with her cultivation level at the peak of the great ascension realm, Zhen Bingluo knew about the void dimension and she did not dare to enter. 

Gao Xue, Gao Yue, and even Ying Chen were here. Their expressions were also filled with worries for Ling Tian, wondering if something bad had really happened to him.

This event alarmed all the disciples of the sect, feeling frightened as the sect's barrier began to crack rapidly as it was unable to withstand this unknown power. 

In a moment at once, on the periphery of the sect, a talisman with runes and black markings glowing like obsidian rose into the air and expelled a supreme force that mingled with the sect barrier. The next moment, other powerful forces also activated in different places within the sect, activating and reinforcing certain special formations. 

"Cough!" 

Being the first to receive the full impact, Yun Mengxin spat out a mouthful of blood. Zhang Xinya, Long Yuyin and Xuanyuan Ling also spat out a mouthful of blood as they stood nearby when the shockwave passed through Yun Mengxin and then expanded. The nearest mountain range was easily destroyed, as if it was a small but terrifying meteor destroying everything in its path. More than dozens of tall mountains that towered into the sky over thousands of meters high were destroyed in moments, while the meteor-like figure continued to break through the mountain range and its speed was slowly dampened. 

Ying Chen and the others stared dumbfounded at the trail left by this figure. The cracks in the sky quickly closed, with the world principles quickly repairing themselves after several seconds. 

Yun Mengxin barely wiped some of the blood in her mouth and without staying another second, she stood up and flew in the direction of this strange figure. Zhang Xinya and Long Yuyin followed Yun Mengxin as well. The worries of these three women were heavy and anxious. 

Ying Chen, Zhen Bingluo, Gao Xue, Gao Yue and Xuanyuan Ling looked at these women and followed them too, their minds thought of that figure that looked like a meteorite from the void and destroyed hundreds of mountains in the distance.

"Cough! Cough!" 

"Cough!" 

Ling Tian coughed several mouthfuls of blood into the air, as he moved his head to the side with all his strength to avoid choking on his own blood. He barely had the strength to move his head when he felt extreme pain and his body's strength decreasing. Ling Tian felt that in addition to his head, he could not move his body, and even seemed momentarily unable to feel it. 

Several rocks fell to the sides in the temporary cave that had formed, with the giant mountain shaking and gradually calming down when there was no more movement. 

'Th-that's why I always preferred to leave those worlds early... hahaha!'

With his vision blurred, Ling Tian observed this woman's figure, so divine and elegant, so beautiful and perfect even if he could not see her properly. Her beauty was unparalleled and the first thought is that she is a goddess of heaven so pure that she should not be tainted, even the gaze of mortals would taint that unique and elegant purity of hers.

The gleaming white bones could be seen almost completely, with many of them fractured and shattered as well. Veins and arteries, all small and large blood vessels were flowing uncontrollably with blood in different directions as they lost their paths, causing several severe hemorrhages, while much of one side of the chest was completely torn apart and there was almost no muscle or bone, with the injured lungs almost completely visible! 

Tendons and ligaments were ruptured, while almost every organ could be clearly seen if one paid close attention. 

A thin energy surged from Ling Tian's heart and covered his entire body, beginning to heal the body very slowly. 

"Hey..." 

Hearing Yun Mengxin's whisper, Ling Tian could sense her feelings, so he didn't want to worry her and tried to force a smile, he didn't want to worry Yun Mengxin too much. But he suddenly winced as he felt a stabbing pain suddenly run down his spine. 

Yun Mengxin froze at the sight of Ling Tian like this, a fear from deep within her soul surged.
