Uncovering secrets is always exciting, for because of human nature, people always think that something hidden behind a multitude of seals is necessarily a reward. However, sometimes beyond the mysterious passageways, there was only horror that should never have been encountered.

Tap.

Zayne touched the ring to the sign as the two shattered moons connected. At the same moment, a bright blue light emerged from the wall, through hundreds of cracks, illuminating the entire space, and the wall came into motion.

Crackle. Crackle. Crackle.

The massive gate, hidden for many years behind the cold stones began to open with a powerful crash that made dozens of stalactites fall from the ceiling.

"What is that...?" Luis muttered, looking at Zayne's receding silhouette.

"I don't know... Why is there a hidden passageway in the room with the final boss, and how did he know about it?" Jane's eyes went wide with a slight tremor.

"Tsk... Whatever, we have to find out what's in there." Luis frowned before rushing forward, not paying any attention to Stone Ent, at all.

Tremble.

However, just a few meters away, the gate closed abruptly, and an impervious barrier with a shattered moon sign appeared in front of it.

"What...!?" Luis exclaimed in confusion.

"Look out!" Dave lunged forward, getting in front of Luis and protecting him from the attack with his shield. The massive fist came down on Dave, throwing him a few feet away.

Jane smacked Luis on the back, "Get it together! No one knows what's going on here, but we have no choice but to beat this boss and find a way forward anyway."

Luis clenched his fists tightly as well as bit his lip until it bled, but eventually nodded in agreement with Jane's words. He lost control only for a moment, but now his emotions wouldn't bother him anymore.

ραndαsnοvεl.cοm Whooooooooooooosh.

Luis's gaze became sharp as a blade as he lunged forward, holding the spear firmly. Like a shadow, in a heartbeat, he swept along Stone Ent's arm, leaving a wide cut on it and shattering the stone armor into many fragments.

"Since it turned out this way... Let's finish with this walking stone as quickly as possible..." Luis muttered in a deadly tone with a sharp gaze, "I don't know what's behind that barrier, but we have to find out."

The battle quickened its pace, as everyone wanted to move on and learn more about the ruins, but defeating the Stone Ent was not easy.

The Stone Ent suffered many wounds in a short period, so it decided to reveal its full power when dozens of runes appeared on its body, out of which flames erupted.

Almost the entire body of the Stone Ent was now covered by the fiery armor, through which it was impossible to break without harming oneself.

...

Step. Step. Step.

Zayne paced slowly forward, stepping on the cold stone, covered in places with water that rippled with his every movement.I think you should take a look at ραΠdαsnovel.cοm

The passage was long, seemingly almost endless, but there was a light in the distance, frightening and enticing at the same time.

Zayne was silent, and he thought only of one thing, what awaited him ahead, or rather who.

"Beautiful..." Zayne muttered sincerely, looking at the blue crystals against the walls, gradually shifting into stone peaks above as if trying to reach for the moon that illuminated the place.

"How strange... I didn't feel like I was climbing anywhere, but I'm obviously not underground..." Zayne inhaled, glancing around.

There was a mysterious aura emanating from this place, but there was nothing here except a lake covered with a very thick layer of ice through which it was impossible to see anything. In front of the lake was a pedestal with a suitable place for the ring.

"Hmm... I may be connected to Fate now since I've already participated in a lot of events, but I got this ring in the beginning... Agh... That's weird." Zayne shook his head, heading for the pedestal. He didn't know what lay ahead of him, but he was going to do it anyway.

Zayne took a deep breath, exhaling cold steam, and with a calm look removed his ring that had been with him all along.

Tap.

He placed the ring on the pedestal, waiting for something to happen, however, there was nothing but currents of wind blowing and fluttering his coat.

"Have I done something wrong...?" Zayne was puzzled, then the blue moonlight fell on the ring.

At the same moment, the ring glowed brightly as waves of energy flowed away from the pedestal, activating a magical circle around the lake.

Zayne bounced to the side. His instincts were silent, but if there was an enemy ahead he had to be ready for it.

Crackle. Crackle. Crackle.

The lake's surface began to crack as something gradually emerged from it. It was a massive, stone altar on whose top lay a blue cloth like on a bed.

It was several minutes before the moonlight reached the altar, falling on it, but for Zayne it all happened in seconds since all his attention and senses were focused on it.

There was a click, and something opened on the altar, allowing the moonlight to fall on the silhouette inside. Slowly, the silhouette rose, gazing intently upward, as if the most precious thing in its life was in the sky.

'Is it really her...?' Zayne muttered inwardly with a dazed expression. It was hard to impress him with beauty, but this was an exceptional case.

Above the altar rose a girl with long blonde hair and azure deep eyes, looking into which one could become forever mesmerized. She was wearing snow-white armor like a magnificent knight.

On her chest as well as on her shoulder was the mark of a blue sword, covered with two streams, such as on the fate coin.

She was not a princess from a fairy tale, but a warrior, as evidenced by the scar that ran down her left cheek to her neck, where it crossed, the sign of the shattered moon stamped on her skin. The scar gave her greatness and expressed some of the pain that she had felt at that moment.

At a long length, the girl stared at the moon, then she slowly turned, meeting her gaze with Zayne's.
