305 A night with Sharyn

Alex sat up with a terribly pale face. His battle with Emperor Qikath was far more damaging than he thought. Back then he believed he would be able to deal with it and get the usual backlash but this one far surpassed his expectations. His eyes seemed calm but Sharyn could feel the pain in his heart.

“Alex.... We” Elder Gale muttered with an anxious look.

With Silver failing to draw the Danites in as allies, this put them in a bad situation. No one was sure how strong Alex is right now, or how strong he would be in the next few days but they were sure of one thing.

Right now, they need a guardian more than ever!

“Can you fight?” Elder Tyron went straight to the point causing everyone to shoot him a fierce glance but Alex didn’t mind.

Instead, he was even happy someone opened up and spoke to him directly, instead of taking pity.

“A little bit here and there. So it’s a yes. The question is for how long” Alex responded casually.

“My overall power hasn’t been reduced. I can exert my full power but at a price. Without exerting my full strength I can still deal with other enemies, I just can’t handle prolonged fights anymore. So unless another sea god appears there is nothing to be worried about” Alex added with a shoulder shrug.

Hearing this everyone in the room except Sharyn heaved a sigh of relief. She could tell Alex wasn’t necessarily lying but he wasn’t completely honest either.

.....

“Silver returned to earth with the members of the culture. You are the only one left. Will you leave us as well?” Elder Gale asked and once again the room turned tense.

If Alex wished to leave none of them can do a thing about it and they needed him more than ever now. Hearing this question, Alex casually looked up, looking into the anxious eyes of the elders, and smiled.

They needed him!

They wanted him!

A feeling he couldn’t get while he was on earth. There he was easily betrayed by the founding members of the nameless and then the people he called family.

“Will your race be willing to become a part of the Nameless? All allied planets will be under the protection of the absolute, Alex Briggs.... ”

..............

In a small carrier ship holding two Seeds, Alex sat in silence and kept looking at the countless stars in space. He stretched his hand forth and his eyes turned black!

Pa!

“Don’t be stupid!” Sharyn slapped his open palm away, causing his eyes to return to normal.

“You know your condition, yet you keep trying to use your abilities. Can you chill till we actually need it?” Sharyn rolled her eyes and Alex simply chuckled.

“I’m the man who is supposed to be able to cover the entire universe with one hand. I wanted to be the one true God” Alex spoke slowly as if he was pondering every single word spoken.

“And you will cover the world with one palm but you have to wait until you have recovered. Then we can both work towards that goal” Sharyn said as she delicately held his hands and looked into his eyes.

Alex was taken aback by this gesture since it has been a while since he has been intimate with someone. He pulled away his hands and leaned back, inhaling deeply before speaking.

“I understand what you are trying to say. So how sure are you that we can get me fixed?” Alex responded casually.

“This problem originated from my people’s technique, I’m sure there must be a way to fix it. Also, we can finally do the transition ritual on you and allow your deity power to grow” Sharyn said in an excited tone.

Alex could only roll his eyes and look away. He knew one thing about this life, hope for the best but expect the worst. He didn’t know what kind of status Sharyn has that made her this confident but he didn’t expect it to be easy too. By the way, he is the greatest thorn in the flesh of the alliance and the deity race was a major part of the alliance.

“We both know the truth about all of this. Your people are a part of the alliance. I have caused the alliance a major loss. It won’t be so simple. You may sound cheerful but I can see the anxiety in your eyes. You don’t have to try and make me feel better” Alex said with an indifferent look on his face.

He leaned back and shut his eyes to rest but then he felt something warm yet soft touch his neck. He opened his eyes only to see Sharyn kissing his neck. His body trembled as the first thought that crossed his mind was to push her away but couldn’t get his body to move.

“Sharyn” Alex mumbled but she ignored him and ran her lips across his neck and down to his chest. Before he could speak up against what was happening, Sharyn was already on her knees with his pants pulled down.

He opened his mouth and tried to speak but a light moan was all he could let out. With each second passing, Alex could feel his strength leaving him. His mental fortitude was shattered right now, even Alex knew he was at the mercy of the lady in front of him. He could only watch with hungry eyes as Sharyn slowly undressed, revealing her curvy figure and the jade skin under her clothes. She tiptoed towards him seductively, grabbing him by the cheeks before sitting on him.

“You don’t have to worry about anything anymore. Don’t try to reject me anymore, just live your life to the fullest while you still have it” Sharyn whispered seductively in his ear before hopping up and down while Alex held onto her waist with a strange look in his eyes. The image of Tracy which has been stuck at the back of his mind all this while was slowly fading with each moment passing by.
