150 Getting Out (2)

Blake had cast the deadly spell twice, making sure that not one of the humanoid demon mages would remain alive without a godly amount of luck on their side.

And to say that the myriad of darkness tendril spell was a deadly spell was not an exaggeration as the sole act of casting it had the ability to make the mages that were sensitive to nether freeze in place when they felt the amount of nether that had gathered all around them.

However, Blake didn’t just cast a single myriad of darkness tendril spells. He had cast two of them.

So instead of just a split second of shock that they felt, the humanoid demon mages literally feel death embracing them when the absurd amount of nether gathered on their surroundings.

Some of them who had snapped out of their horror-stricken daze had quickly made a decision to run away as fast as they could, snapping the others out of their own daze as they also started making their way out of the place where they felt the very dangerous amount of nether gathering.

Unfortunately, the humanoid demon mages weren’t in luck as with the marking spell attached to their bodies, the mass of nether would only follow them wherever they decided to run to.

And when the two same spells finally manifested themselves, the same scene of horror that always happened after the myriad of darkness tendril spell had been cast had once again appeared in front of Blake’s eyes, but this time, the effect was doubled with the number of darkness spikes also increased twice in number.

Not only did every inch of the humanoid demon mages were now covered in darkness tendrils, even there were two darkness tendrils that pierced the exact same place, making the wounds significantly bigger and causing more pain to the humanoid demons while also causing more blood to flow out of their bodies.

Blake’s intention in making sure that not one of the humanoid demon mages would survive the ordeal was splendidly done by the two myriad of darkness tendril spells that had been cast together.

.....

However, just like how he didn’t care to grab a single soul while he was on his way towards Robus’ location, Blake didn’t even give a single glance to the carnage behind him as he already made his way towards Robus once the double myriad of darkness tendril had been cast.

Aside from the 5 groups of humanoid demons that had besieged Robus, there were still more humanoid demons around the area that were ready to fill in the places of the humanoid demons that were killed in battle.

And with so many humanoid demons gathering in the area, Blake already assumed that the whole humanoid demon base was already aware of him and Robus.

Which means that there would only be no end to the humanoid demons if he and Robus were to fight against all of them.

There would only be more and more humanoid demons coming from the base and he and Robus would eventually tire out or run out of nether if he decided to fight them.

So Blake quickly decided that he and Robus needed to get out of this place as soon as possible.

Hence why he ignored all the souls that he had reaped and prioritized making sure he and Robus got out of this alive.

He didn’t know how he and Robus had been found out despite his preparations, even making the isolation domes to prevent any sounds from getting out.

But it wasn’t the time for Blake to reflect on his actions.

Grabbing several palm-sized wooden cubes and balls from his dimensional pouch, Blake sent his nether through them and started activating them.

He threw several towards the 3 groups of humanoid demons that were sieging Robus while he threw several more towards the humanoid demons that circled around the perimeter and closed off his and Robus’ path of exit.

The rune formations that Blake threw landed all around the mass of humanoid demons and started manifesting the spell contained inside them.

Several different types of spells then manifested themselves as darkness spikes, darkness tendrils, earth spikes, holes on the ground, and diagonal walls, had all appeared all around the area where Blake had thrown his rune formations to.

Blake had thrown whatever he had in his arsenal to make the gap – the chance that he and Robus needed to get away as far away as they could from the place.

And his desperate seemed to have bore fruit as not only the 15 humanoid demons that besieged Robus had been broken up and most of them were either dead or incapacitated by Blake’s spell, but a lot of the humanoid demons that circled around the area had also taken quite a considerable amount of damage from Blake’s rune formations that he throws in certain directions to make himself and Robus a path of retreat.

With most of the humanoid demons unable to move or even hardly stay alive, Blake quickly called out to Robus and pointed in the direction where they should run to.

He had intentionally thrown more rune formations towards the pointed direction to make the humanoid demons there take significantly more damage and enabled him and Robus to get away easier.

Blake then once again ran as fast as he could, and this time, he ran straight toward Robus’ body.

“Robus! Catch me!” Blake shouted as he let the large momentum carry his body forward directly into Robus.

Robus heard Blake’s shout loud and clear as he opened his palm and caught Blake’s flying body with both hands before he started running in the direction that Blake had told him.

And with the humanoid demons in that direction having taken quite a lot of damage, they were only able to make a meaningless attempt at stopping Robus’ advance.

Robus and Blake were about to break out of the humanoid demons’ encirclement before they suddenly heard a loud horn noise resounding in the background.
