Chapter 92:

While my other initial novels have their share, none has contributed as much as this; I'm very grateful for you loyal readers. I haven't updated the adv chapters for some time, and I'm sure everyone's itching to know what other madness Seora will take part in. I'm now focusing on finishing shorter novels I'd been delaying since 2020 so I can focus better on finishing the longer ones when I'm free, and I promise you: I will finish Seora's adventures before the end of 2024. Once again thank you so much, and I'd hope you continue to enjoy our administrator's pettiness~!

“That’s impossible! She clearly emanates the aura of an F-class!”

“No way! This doesn’t make sense! I made sure to confirm when she crossed the water! There’s no way she’s an L-class!”

“There are individuals who can teleport using the power of their Entities. So, why wouldn’t there be people who can conceal their aura?” Seeing their bewildered expressions was truly exhilarating. Seora had never witnessed a skill as deceitful as Veil.

As expected of my administrator. My sunshine, my love.

【Administrator: ??(?>?<?)??】

“Uh? Where do you think you’re going?”

As Clay attempted to rush out through the basement door, Seora quickly moved the cube in front of it. The bullets meant to kill her were now directed at the two intruders.

“You possess the ability to teleport, so why are you just standing there? It appears you lack the means to eliminate me.” Seora took off her soaked suit jacket and casually draped it over her shoulder, fixing her gaze on John. Unlike his confident demeanor when he kidnapped her, the man now stood frozen, unable to take a single step. “Oh, I understand now. So your ability isn’t all-powerful. Well, if you could utilize it freely, you would have been classified as an S-class, and you wouldn’t have gotten involved in nefarious activities like Blackjack.”

John and Clay’s eyes widened in surprise.

“You know about us…?”

“My Entity has provided me with extensive knowledge because he loves me dearly. He’s quite furious, you see, and I’m doing my best to prevent him from taking action.”

【Administrator: ??=?益?=??】

Kidnapping and murder. These individuals were even worse than Park Jinyong. Moreover, their disrespectful remarks triggered memories of that past incident, further fueling the administrator’s anger.

“So, you better find a way to calm him down a bit.”

Bullets loomed behind them, while an L-class threat stood before them.

The two trapped individuals trembled with fear, caught in a dilemma. Seora’s mischievous smile and reassuring pats on their shoulders only heightened their anxiety.

“So, would you care to enlighten me?”

“Wh-what…?”

“What else? Obviously, the whereabouts of your headquarters.”

Seora had devised a plan to leverage the underguild’s mismanagement and secure a significant share from the U.S. government. But would that be satisfying enough? There was another treasure island right within her reach.

“I desire two things: the identity of the client who assigned you this task and the location of your headquarters.”

“Uh, ah…”

“Come on, speak up. Or I’ll shoot.” Seora retrieved a gun from her inventory and pointed it at their heads.

It was a shotgun revolver, surprisingly fitting snugly in her hand. Lately, she had become quite adept at using it. A single shot from this weapon would obliterate their heads. They were acutely aware of the danger, their faces turning pale.

“The client, the headquarters.” Seora urged them on, her mind already racing with excitement at the prospect of filling her warehouse. She gazed at the two with a radiant smile.

In the realm of capitalism, there is no mercy.

“Ah, indeed. Those who amass wealth through illicit means often become the wealthiest.”

With a gleeful expression, Seora rummaged through the guild master’s office vault. Rare Gate Stones, stacks of cash, gold, and various jewels were discovered within.

Naturally, the most valuable items would be stored in the guild master’s personal inventory.

“Haha, you’ve gathered all this for me? How considerate.”

Click, click!

Grinning at the trapped guild master behind her, Seora sensed his anger, but his voice was muffled by the cube, rendering his words inaudible. If he wanted to curse, he was welcome to do so. He could curse all he pleased, as long as he remained alive.

“Well, what a pity. I have to let you go.”

To access the contents stored in the guild master’s inventory, Seora would have to eliminate him. That was a simple task, considering they were the ones who had kidnapped and attempted to kill her in the first place.

However, regrettably, only the country held the authority to dispose of the leader of the underguild. Rather than causing unnecessary trouble and facing interrogation, it would be more profitable to strike a deal with the U.S. government, leveraging his life.

“But the two of you are inconsequential.”

Seora, having completely emptied Blackjack’s treasure vault, stood before John and Clay, whom she had kept separate. They had stubbornly withheld information, prompting Seora to deliver a few blows, resulting in a satisfying sight.

“I-I told you! I told you everything! Please, spare us!”

“We can be witnesses! Please, spare us!”

“I have no regrets about this. Consider it pure bad luck. Why did you accept such a job?”

The two widened their eyes as Seora threw their own words back at them.

“If you want to blame someone, curse the one who hired you. If it weren’t for them, you wouldn’t have ended up dying so unluckily.”

“Uh, uh…”

“You’re the embodiment of misfortune.”

She squeezed the trigger of the modified Colt revolver twice, and with a short scream, the sounds of two breaths vanished. As she released the cube, the lifeless bodies slumped weakly. Death proved to be truly futile.

“What witnesses? I can manipulate evidence however I please.”

Engaging in risky ventures that involved not only individuals but also the nation. Even in the underworld, if one desires a long life, one should avoid getting entangled in such matters.

Bang! The entire building shook, and urgent footsteps echoed. Recognizing the familiar aura, Seora’s expression brightened.

“Seora!”

As expected, Song Hanna burst into the guild office and immediately enveloped Seora in a tight embrace. She had found her way here using the address Seora had provided.

“You’re safe. Thank goodness, thank goodness…”

“Of course, I’m safe. Did you forget that I’m an L-class?”

“Is that the issue? You were kidnapped.”

Hmm. It seemed that incidents like Park Jinyong’s case and the Cheorwon Dungeon had made her more anxious. Seora gently stroked her back. “I’m truly fine. Look, I’ve apprehended all those bastards who kidnapped me.”

“These damn bastards.” Song Hanna’s eyes flickered dangerously, and golden patterns emerged on her skin. Seora hurriedly tried to calm her down.

“You can’t kill them! We have to hand them over to the U.S. government!”

“You belong to me, so I also possess the authority to dispose of them.”

“Nevertheless, you can’t do that! We need to hand them over and negotiate with the U.S. government to obtain the items. Leave them to me!”

“You need not worry about negotiating with the government. That’s my responsibility.”

“No, it has to be me. I have to obtain what I desire!”

Song Hanna hit her chest in frustration. It was a natural reaction, considering she still saw herself as a young niece. However, Seora couldn’t afford to back down.

Fortunately, just in the nick of time, a savior appeared.

“Seora!” Yun Jaeheon burst into the building, seemingly crashing through its walls. Seora rushed toward him. His face had turned pale, as if he had forgotten her rank.

“I’m here. I’m fine. No injuries, really. Nothing happened.”

“What kind of bastards dared to…”

“…”

Seora’s eyes widened. Song Hanna was no longer the issue at hand. Yun Jaeheon’s gaze became even more intense, and he clutched a sword in his hand.

Surprised, Seora swiftly grabbed the hand that held the sword.

“Calm down, Brother. Let’s stay calm. Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale.”

“Inhale, exhale.” Despite the tense situation, he followed her instructions diligently, indicating that he hadn’t completely lost control. It was a relief.

“Good. Now, listen carefully. God has protected me, and nothing truly happened. Besides, you know my abilities. Even if I were to enter, they wouldn’t be able to do anything.”

Seora’s unique cube possessed enough power to eliminate a newly born Level 2 Demonic Boss effortlessly.

Gradually, Yun Jaeheon’s demeanor began to calm as he recollected this fact. Even his hunched shoulders, poised to pounce like a goblin, relaxed somewhat. Only after confirming that Seora was unharmed, he roughly returned the sword to his inventory. “Do you know that I’m more worried now than when you were an F-class?”

“…” She had no words to offer. Excluding the incident at the Werewolf Dungeon, there had indeed been more occurrences after her class upgrade.

However, none of those incidents were what she had hoped, blah blah blah.

As she struggled to come up with excuses and avoided making eye contact, her gaze met with someone entering the room.

“Huh?”

Blond hair, blue eyes, a kind expression, and a concerned look. It was Christopher Campbell, the guild master of the Guardian Guild, whom she hadn’t seen since he left Korea.

“Guild Master Campbell? How did you end up here?”

Oh, what was so surprising about that? He was an American, and they were in America. Moreover, the Guardians had been consistently targeting corrupt guilds in America.

“Oh, you remembered me!” His slightly tense face instantly brightened upon seeing Seora. Relief and joy mixed together, reflecting on his handsome features.

“Of course, I remember.”

However, Seora couldn’t bring herself to smile in return. The situation was far from favorable.

The members of the Blackjack gang were trapped inside the cube, two lifeless bodies sprawled on the ground, and even the shattered vault stood empty.

H-how could she salvage this situation?

“I apologize.”

To her surprise, Christopher immediately bowed his head without closely inspecting the scene. His unexpected reaction caught Seora off guard.

“Blackjack is an underground guild that the Guardians are currently tracking. Unfortunately, we couldn’t apprehend them, leading to this unfortunate incident. It’s truly embarrassing. I apologize.”

“Well, um, I…”

“We will definitely provide compensation for this matter.”

“Oh, uh, thank you.” She should accept whatever she could get.

As Christopher lifted his head, a strange smile adorned his face.
