Chapter 86:

While my other initial novels have their share, none has contributed as much as this; I'm very grateful for you loyal readers. I haven't updated the adv chapters for some time, and I'm sure everyone's itching to know what other madness Seora will take part in. I'm now focusing on finishing shorter novels I'd been delaying since 2020 so I can focus better on finishing the longer ones when I'm free, and I promise you: I will finish Seora's adventures before the end of 2024. Once again thank you so much, and I'd hope you continue to enjoy our administrator's pettiness~!

Seora couldn’t lift her head due to her flushed face and pounding heart. I can’t remain stubborn if you say that.

“Yun Seora?”

In the end, Seora took a deep sigh and revealed her true feelings, which she hadn’t shared with anyone before. “…Even before you arrived here, I had been considering venturing into the Labyrinth.”

Kang Sejun’s eyes widened in surprise. “Really?”

“Yes. After the Cheorwon Dungeon incident, I truly understand the value and necessity of peace. It has become a temporary requirement. I don’t want to see my brother, who joined the mercenary team, risking his life in dangerous situations anymore.”

If the dungeons vanished from this world, everyone could awaken from this terrible nightmare. Like waking up from a dream, everything would eventually return to its original state.

“Can we restore peace by eliminating the Labyrinth from the world?” Seora asked.

“I keep regressing for that. It has to be,” Kang Sejun replied.

〖”If you desire it, it is definitely achievable.”〗

Even the system administrator responded. That was enough. With that kind of confidence, Seora felt she could face anything head-on.

“Very well. Let’s do it. Rejoice, Mr. Regressor. I will take care of the monster on the 11th floor that killed you the most.”

Kang Sejun, who had been lost in thought, laughed at Seora’s audacious declaration. “Thank you, Yun Seora.”

“That’s right. Keep thanking me in the future,” Seora boldly declared, exuding confidence.

However, there was one thing that piqued her curiosity. If complete elimination of the Labyrinth would bring about peace, then…

‘Will I be able to meet the system administrator in person?’

She longed for the chance to meet the person who had saved her and generously provided her with resources. Would she be granted that opportunity?

Seora stared into the void with eager anticipation, but there was no answer this time.

***

The day had arrived for their departure to America.

A crowd of reporters gathered at the airport, attracted by the news of Song Hanna’s attendance at the WDO meeting. However, the expressions on the faces of those leaving the country were grave, conveying the seriousness of the situation. No one dared to approach them for an interview.

Little did the reporters know that once the Hunters boarded the plane and the prying eyes were gone, they relaxed as usual.

“It’s my first time on a private plane,” Seong Jarim exclaimed, brimming with excitement from the back seat. Normally, she would have calmed down after being scolded for inappropriate behavior, but her eyes grew wider this time. “And there’s even a bar! The rumors were true!”

A display showcasing an array of cocktails and spirits!

The lowest-ranking civil servant was only responsible for domestic tasks and never traveled abroad, so Seora had only heard rumors about what it would be like. She never imagined that she would witness it firsthand by boarding the private plane of the association’s president!

“It’s amazing. So delicious!” Seora’s face lit up with joy as she savored the chocolate provided. “I’d love to try one of those cocktails too. I don’t mind if it’s strong; I want the most delicious one.”

And the person preparing the drinks was a bartender, not a flight attendant. Being the president of the association had its perks.

However, they were the only ones truly at ease. Gong Haeyeon and Jeong Taeseok, who had come along as assistants, felt like they were on the verge of death.

“Sir, I think I might choke to death right now.”

“Don’t worry, Gong Haeyeon-ssi. I feel the same way.”

Because aside from being together with the strong people in this narrow space…

“Y-Y-Yun Seora is Headbang… Th-the L-class! Am I dreaming?”

It was mainly because they had only learned about Seora’s secret before boarding the plane. Since then, the two of them couldn’t even meet Seora’s gaze.

“I’ve pinched Seora’s cheek so many times!”

“Gasp. G-Gong Haeyeon-ssi, are you okay?”

“No wonder Headbang always showed up wherever she went! She said she couldn’t see their face, but how could that be!?”

“I should have realized sooner…! Cough!”

“Calm down! Everything will be fine! Y-yes, Seora, I mean, Yun Seora is a nice person…!”

How long would she have to endure this absurdity? Seora could hear everything in the confined space, no matter how quiet it was.

Look at them. Song Hanna, who had been pretending to sleep with her eyes closed, was struggling to hold back a smile. Kang Sejun was also laughing. Seong Jarim tilted her head as if asking, “Aren’t I nice too…?” Meanwhile, Yun Jaeheon looked at Seora with a smile.

Those irritating people.

“Why are you both acting like this when we’re supposed to maintain a normal fa?ade? I’m going as an F-class representative, and it will be obvious if you continue like this.”

“Cough! D-did you hear that?”

“Seora! I’ve been mistaken all along!”

“…” We’ll get caught if we continue like this. “If I wanted that, I would have revealed my identity right away.”

“I-I understand…”

The two of them were still trembling. Seora couldn’t stand it anymore. They needed a special approach. “Sir, Haeyeon, since we have plenty of time until we reach the U.S., shall we sit together and have a conversation until we feel more at ease?” Seora smiled and took a seat in front of them.

About 14 hours remained before arriving in New York.

Jeong Taeseok and Gong Haeyeon’s faces turned pale upon realizing they had to face an L-class individual.

“Gasp. I suddenly remembered some documents I need to review during the journey! Yun Seora, I’m sorry, but let me attend to that for a moment!”

“I suddenly feel so sleepy since I couldn’t sleep earlier. Oh, we still have 14 hours, so I should catch some rest.”

The tactic worked!

The two immediately returned to their normal selves, each engrossed in their own tasks. They truly lived up to their roles as civil servants who had dealt with various situations and people.

“Oh my, is everything already settled? Oh dear, I was hoping for some entertainment during this boring flight,” Song Hanna exclaimed, opening her eyes as she pretended to wake up. Startled, Jeong Taeseok and Gong Haeyeon quickly averted their gazes as if they hadn’t heard her.

“I thought I would witness the awkwardness of Seora.”

“I know, right?”

Having dealt with one side, Seora felt betrayed upon hearing the conversation between Song Hanna and Yun Jaeheon.

“I’ll be separated from my sister again once we return to Athena, so I wanted to enjoy the small moments together. What a shame.”

“Do you enjoy seeing me in distress that much?”

“It’s not something that happens often.”

“Hiyaa, family is the best. You can do things you wouldn’t normally do with family.”

“I envy them.”

Kang Sejun and Seong Jarim whispered, impressed by Yun Jaeheon’s unreserved behavior. Seora glared at the two of them, silently conveying that they could rely on her if they ever needed anything in the future. The two quickly pretended as if they hadn’t said anything.

Dear, dear. It felt like there was no one on her side in this confined plane.

“There are so many reporters.”

New York, 1 PM.

Even before the plane came to a complete stop, Seora was already feeling overwhelmed. The number of reporters now was incomparable to when she had left Korea.

“What did you expect? It’s only natural when we have me, an Athena executive who has been in the spotlight for the past month or two, among the L-class individuals.” Those last words carried a sense of power.

“Section Chief Jeong, Seora, and Gong Haeyeon, follow me quietly. Let’s disembark now.”

The door opened, and Song Hanna descended the stairs first. The camera flashes went off each time her suit coat fluttered over her shoulders. Even in front of so many reporters, Song Hanna maintained her light smile, unwavering.

“Wow. She’s so cool.”

Seora agreed with Seong Jarim’s murmured comment. Being the president of the association was no small feat.

“President Song! Please look this way!”

“Hunter Kang, Hunter Seong!”

“Th-that’s Yun Jaeheon! I never expected him to leave Korea together. Has he left Athena?”

“Oh, come on. The captain wouldn’t easily let go of an executive.”

“I don’t think the third L-class is here.”

“They sent a representative. It must be one of the three in the back.”

As if they had no interest in the representative, the cameras focused only on the four of them diligently. Seora felt fortunate that she hadn’t come under the name Headbang.

Without giving any interviews, they promptly boarded the waiting limousine. There were sounds of disappointment from the reporters, but the group paid them no attention.

“The meeting is in three days, right?”

“Yes, it’s my first time participating in a Labyrinth Dungeon strategy meeting representing Korea.”

At that time, L-class individuals hadn’t appeared in Korea, and Yun Jaeheon, who had been the only one to experience the raid, hadn’t been able to represent Korea because he was a member of Athena.

“Do they have a welcome party for newcomers? We have three L-classes after all.”

“More likely, they’ll have a ‘new recruits killing party’ instead of a welcoming party or something like that,” Kang Sejun joked in response to Song Hanna’s remark. Of course, Seora was the only one who didn’t perceive it as a joke.

Don’t tell me you’ve actually experienced “new recruits killing parties” before.

“Oh, that’s a big deal. Everyone, remember. If that happens, we’ll hide behind Kang Sejun. I won’t be able to protect everyone because I’m just an S-class. I’ll have to delegate that responsibility to Kang Sejun.”

“Why me? We have Yun Seora, who’s dressed as a representative, and Seong Jarim too.”

“It’s only fair that the person who brought it up takes charge. What do you all think? Do you agree?”

There was no need for further discussion. Except for Kang Sejun, everyone voted in favor. Kang Sejun, suddenly tasked with protecting the six of them like a mother duck, couldn’t help but lament. “Is this the only time you all get along well?”

“We actually always get along well. Haha. So please take good care of us, Kang Sejun-ssi.”

“Yun Seora, I hate you the most.”

“Why? Don’t like the title? Should we call you Elsa, then?”

“Be quiet, Headbang.”

Seora silenced herself quietly. This topic only caused them to hurt each other.

“Jaeheon, when will your captain arrive?”

“I don’t know. She’s not someone who reveals her whereabouts. I believe the captain will contact me once I arrive.”

“So, are you staying with us in the meantime?”

“I suppose so. I’ll move when the captain arrives. We won’t be staying at the same hotel.”

The World Dungeon Organization (WDO) usually arranged it so that they didn’t stay in the same hotels. They had to fight together in the Labyrinth, but there shouldn’t be any trouble before that.

Yes, it was obvious, but…

‘So, how did it feel when you ran into another L-class individual in the hotel lobby where you had made a reservation?’

Seora stared blankly at the woman who occupied an entire spacious sofa. With her short-cut white hair, brown skin, and a massive build, she was…

“…Captain?”

…none other than Ali Russo, the captain of Athena, whom she had only seen on the internet.

Why was she here?
