Chapter 909 Chapter 909 Choice

Nevertheless, Meg Robinson could not stop wonder at the mystery of this place. If she could describe it in one word then she would use no doubt use magical in its truest sense.

There were myriad candles floating overhead which granted a unique ambiance to its surroundings.

If she was in a date with Miles right now then this would be the perfect setting for a romantic night together. Unfortunately for her, reality was pretty much indifferent to wishes.

"The man in your dreams." The Demon Lord presented and a crack apparated two souls.

One looked like a newly awakened corpse with very pale skin, white dumb face, snake holes for nose, red eyes and ugly slits for pupils.

The strange man had a skeletal weak body and long, thin arms with unnaturally long hands. This was of course the odd description of Leland, the Mad Shaman.

Beside him was the comatose figure of Captain Miles Walker himself. Miles Walker who was yet to open his eyes from the drop. A sleeping beauty in display.

"MILES!" Meg Robinson called but the man continued on his deep slumber.

She wanted to approach him but then the ugly man's hand went up to display an eerie green glow that manifested at the tip of his wand.

Meg felt a striking sense of doom which planted her feet completely where it was.

"So are we ready to make a deal, Agent Robinson?" The Demon Lord prodded. He has not moved an inch from where he stood but that has not diminished his obvious presence at all.

"I... I need more time." Meg Carted replied. She shifted slightly which made her faced straight unto Miles Walker's direction.

"I consider myself a very patient being. Normally, i would wait for people to bring ruin upon themselves. But I'm feeling generous tonight.

So shall i help you shed away with these boring pretenses, Agent Robinson?" The Demon Lord offered and flicked a finger thereafter.

"DING!" Meg Robinson was whisked away into another place entirely. It was somewhere she was very familiar of. She was back again in her room in New York.

It did not take her long to realize the danger of that magical man's promise. She immediately pulled the button at the top of her black dress and speak unto the subtle device.

This was a video and voice transmitter that was invented way before its time.

Adam Smith was of course the one who maneuvered such a thing to be in the hope of getting concrete evidence against the Demon Lord and his servants.

With this evidence on hand, they would have reason enough to move even the President of the United States of America into action in order to stop this supernatural menace in their midst.

Alas, Meg did not like what she heard in that mansion.

"Adam! Can you hear me? I don't have a good feeling about this. Please don't send that video to anyone yet. Just wait until i have more information in hand."

Meg Robinson rushed outside and her plan was to go back to the Demon Lord's abode once more and confront him for the second time today.

Unfortunately for her and everyone else, all their plans would be halted before it could ever begin.

"What's happening to them?!" Someone shouted in the street.

They could see that a soldier in uniform just fell down, made face of the greatest horrors possible, and froze in a vegetative state thereafter.

The shock on him was extremely evident in the aftermath. The same thing was happening all over the country. More than 12 million soldiers experienced a living death on the morrow.

They still breathed but their souls were already sucked clean from inside them. It was a worse fate than true death.

Five days later and the same woman arrived in the Demon Lord's mansion. Different from the last, she wore no dull clothes on her.

This time around, even the dead would rise up to get a chance to play at her barely hidden treasures.

"Welcome back, Miss Robinson. My master is waiting for you upstairs." An old man in a long purple cloak greeted the beautiful woman into the abode.

"..." Meg Robinson nodded and began to take the first steps towards an all familiar path. She was stopped on her eleventh step away.

"Miss Robinson. It is not wise to play tricks on my master. He could kill all the people in this world and it wouldn't even bother him one bit. Please... avoid making the same mistake again."

Aveus Griffins advised.

"I know." Meg replied without looking back. She then continued to walk deeper into this evil mansion.

"I can see that you have had more than a change of mind. I appreciate this candor." The Demon Lord nodded.

He had a thick book on his hand but he stopped his reading the moment his visitor arrived.

Reading would easily become tasteless in front of an extremely delectable female like Meg Robinson

"So... are there anymore games that you would want to play, Agent Robinson?" The Demon Lord added after he scanned the entirely of Meg's sexy body.

She really looked good in red and it showed quite well indeed. Meg Robinson shook her head in reply.

"I will do anything you want as long as you release Miles and all of the people that are under your spell." Agent Robinson negotiated.

"I believe in the spirit of equal exchange. So one pussy is not worth 12 million lives at all."

The Demon Lord said, sat down, picked his book up once more, and began reading like nothing important was happening around him.

"Miles and Adam. I just want you to give them both back to me!" Meg Robinson's shaky emotions was revealed for the first time.

One should know that Adam Smith was also one of the victims from the plague of dementors that occurred five days earlier.

"I need not repeat myself, Agent Robinson." The Demon Lord shook his head and remained busy on what he was reading.
