Lights filled the cold room as Lee Seng and the group flew into the room. The group landed on the ground, noticing the large amounts of ice leftover. The energy was heaviest in this room. The room was almost frozen to the brim.
"Lee." Keng called out. Lee Seng nodded and stepped over. Without saying anything else, the twins touched the ice. Cosmic Sun Suit swept over them in unison as they began to pour energy into the ice.
"Demons could have this much power?" Evan asked as a breath of cold air flew out of his mouth. "I hope they're okay…"
"They're fine." Manny told them. "They will be fine because we found them as quick as we could."
"Wh-what if they aren't?"
"They'll be fine." Manny doubled down on his response. He was shaking and Evan thought the ice might've gotten to him, but it seemed like something else was on Manny's mind.
The twins' energy rose, pushing into the ice. Their tails slammed into the ice, creating a large magical circle. The ice's energy began to melt, absorbing into their bodies. They slowly pushed through, absorbing the ice's energy.
Fifteen minutes later, the twins absorbed three-fourths of the room. Evan and the others looked out for Ritsuka and Liz. Manny anxiously whipped his head back and forth, scared of what fate would have succumbed to Liz and Ritsuka.
"Over there." Lee Seng nodded to the right. A tail pulled away and pointed. The group turned and noticed it was Liz.
"Liz!" Manny shouted. He scrambled over to her and instantly dropped to his knees. He grabbed her and noticed she was ice cold. The front of Liz's body and sides were ripped apart. "Liz!" Manny shook her. Evan and Olivia rushed over to check on their frozen friend. "Sh-she's ice cold, too!" Keng looked over to Lee Seng, who gave him a silent nod to go. Keng pulled away from the wall, slowing down the progress even more.
Keng made it to the opposite of Manny. Manny was already healing Liz and tears were in his eyes. Keng silently lifted his hand and started to pour warm Light over them.
"What're you doing?" Evan asked.
"She's cold. I'm going to have to warm her up while Manny heals her." Keng answered.
"It'll be okay, Liz…!" Manny sniffled. "Please wake up! Please don't leave me." Keng looked over at Evan and Olivia.
"Could one of you help find Ritsuka?" Keng motioned over to Lee Seng. Olivia nodded and split off. Olivia moved over to Lee Seng, who was staring off to his left.
"Have you found him yet?" Olivia asked. Lee Seng didn't answer. He continued to stare off to the left while the ice energy slowly faded. Olivia followed his gaze and noticed it. It was Ritsuka. There was so much blood… "Ritsu…ka…" Olivia covered her mouth. Lee Seng's energy grew even more. Wisps fluttered out of him, instantly eating more of the ice away. They freed Ritsuka's suspended body, dropping the frozen friend to the ground.
Lee Seng rushed over to Ritsuka and dropped to his knees. Ritsuka had sustained large amounts of damage. There were large injuries across Ritsuka's front and sides. One of Ritsuka's arms was torn.
"Heal." Lee Seng squeezed his eyes shut. His breathing picked up as a bright golden light pushed itself over Ritsuka. "You'll be okay… You'll be okay…" Olivia covered her mouth as she turned away. Ritsuka's body slowly patched itself. The large chunks of flesh were enough to pain a picture of what might've happened.
Lee Seng tried his best to hold himself together as he healed Ritsuka. What once was weak healing, was now replaced with healing on par with Manny's. Lee Seng pulled Ritsuka and hugged him.
"Heal. Heal. Heal. Heal. Please!" Lee Seng cried in Hmong. "Please don't be dead! Please!"
It came like a far off wish… Ritsuka sucked a breath of cold, stale air. Someone was hugging him. Someone really warm. Ritsuka coughed, catching the attention of Olivia. She ran over and looked as Ritsuka weakly looked over Lee Seng's shoulder.
"L-Liv…?" Ritsuka weakly called out. Lee Seng pulled away slightly and looked at Ritsuka. He wasn't healed, yet. There were still chunks of him missing. Chunks Lee Seng couldn't put back. "Argh…! Wh-why does it — ahh!"
"R-Ritsuka!" Olivia stuttered. Lee Seng pushed more healing light into Ritsuka. Ritsuka squirmed as the pain seeped into his body. He screamed in Lee Seng's arms. Blood oozed out of his missing body. Lee Seng held him, gritting his teeth as screams of Liz joined Ritsuka.
"H-hey!" Manny shouted. Liz's body lit up in electricity, hurting Manny. Manny gritted his teeth as he tried to push her down. "K-Keng!" Keng forced Liz down with a single push. Gravity held her there. "H-hey, Liz! It'll be alright! Stay with me! The pain will go away! The pain will—"
"ARGH!" Lightning flew out of Liz's body. A large beam shot out of her chest as he body tried to lift itself up into the air.
"Not now!" Manny shook his head. Keng scribbled some runes and muttered under his breath. Evan moved over and grabbed Liz. He winced as kinetic energy quickly started to build up within him.
"I'm not sure how much I can take, but I'll try to alleviate as much as I can!" Evan told Manny. Manny nodded and continued to heal.
"C'mon…!" Manny gritted his teeth.
"Runeweaver: Blissful Sleep." Keng sliced the runes and sprinkled the energy onto her. Liz's eyes drooped, instantly falling asleep. "That should keep her quiet for now. I don't think you can fully heal her. We need to get her to a doctor who can repair her actual body parts." Keng stood up and looked over at Lee Seng. "Lee!"
pαпdα Йᴏνê|,сòМ "I know!" Lee Seng gritted his teeth. Ritsuka pushed Lee Seng to the side. He screamed in pain, revealing his teeth.
"His tongue!" Olivia shouted. Lee Seng threw his hand up and froze Ritsuka.
"Ailment: Sleep." Lee Seng shouted. A blast of dust flew onto Ritsuka and Ritsuka immediately knocked out. Lee Seng lowered him and crawled back over. "What's the rune for pain alleviation? How do I draw that?"
"You don't have to draw it. You can write it in English if you have to." Keng sighed. He moved over, writing it in the air and slashing at it. "There. He shouldn't feel anything for a while. We need to find a doctor."
"W-where are we going to find one that could piece them back together like this?" Manny asked in hysterics.
"We could go back to Daros. There's doctors and Druids we know there that could repair them back to normal." Keng suggested. "It's better than finding a surgeon here."
"Can we… really go back? Wouldn't we have to find a portal?" Olivia asked.
"Not necessarily." Lee Seng shook his head. He stood up and flicked his finger at Ritsuka, slowly lifting him up into the air. "Protection." A golden barrier grew around Rtisuka as he turned. "We can just use a chant to get back."
"Mmm, right." Keng nodded. He looked over at Manny. Manny stared at Liz, unsure of what to do. "It's the best bet for both of them. It won't take forever. The worst thing that can happen is we have to use a portal spell to portal back to For'Wut."
"Doesn't Revit have better access to doctors?" Manny asked. "Shouldn't we take them there?"
"Mmm. I guess we should take them to Revit." Keng nodded. "It's our best bet." Keng moved over to Liz and Manny and waited for Manny to move out of the way. Manny pulled away, letting Keng take over. Keng whispered and watched as Liz lifted up into the air with a silver barrier around her. Team Zephyr rejoined together in the center.
"You want me to do it?" Keng asked. Lee Seng nodded.
"You know the chant better than I do at this point." Lee Seng responded. Keng nodded and lifted his left hand.
"I walk among the land of the humans. I wish to enter the Realm of the God King." Keng spoke the spell. Silver energy flew outwards, grabbing all of Zephyr and pulling them in.
The group appeared at the portal they had gone through. It was a bit of ways away from Revit.
"Just our luck." Keng muttered. "We're back during the night." Lee Seng ignored Keng and took a couple steps forward from the large portal.
"Gravitum: Cosmic Portal." Lee Seng whispered. He threw his hands together and pulled. The cosmic energy pulled apart, revealing the night city of Revit. "Y'all go in first and we'll send in these two afterwards." Manny stepped in first followed by Olivia and then Evan. Keng let Liz in first and then Lee Seng let Ritsuka threw. The two twins stepped in afterwards, entering the large city of Revit.
The magical crystal lights and paved city roads reminded them of Captiol city. Manny led the way to the "hospital." The lights were on as Manny ran inside.
"Help! Our friends are badly hurt!" Manny shouted. The night time workers looked up and watched as Ritsuka and Liz were floated in. They immediately scrambled out of their seats and rushed over.
"They're missing large amounts of their bodies…" Worker 1 observed. "We'll need a stitcher for this… Go get Dr. Gar'ew and Head Nurse Violet. They'll be best suited for understanding what is needed." Worker 2 nodded and ran off. "In the meantime, let's get them to a room. Help me."
"Alright." Workers 3 and 4 nodded.
"W-what do we do?" Manny asked.
"I assume this is the twin's doing? The lifting?" Worker 3 pointed. Keng and Lee seng nodded. "Bring them over on these trolleys."
"You guys will have to wait, alright?" Worker 5 spoke. "Trust me. They're in good hands." Manny took a step forward and Evan put a hand on him.
"Hey. We got here in time. It's up to them now." Evan whispered.
