The Werewolves rushed the Fox. The pack wanted to shred the little Fox to pieces and move on with their hunt. Lee Seng dodged with a playful smile that hid behind the mask. He would use his Echoes to dodge hits he couldn't dodge and Illusionary Step into their place at the last second. This was something he wanted to practice and get down and it was working fairly well.
Unluckily for Lee Seng, the wolves were intelligent enough to see through his antics and went in for retaliation, sending him flying backwards. Lee Seng bounced down the overgrown street, flipping himself as he used the scabbard of his katana to slow himself to a stop. The wolves circled him like he was mere prey to them. Lee Seng's grin grew bigger behind his mask as he looked at the Werewolf that had sniffed him out.
"Do wolves really play unfair?" Lee Seng asked it. He pointed the gold and silver katana at the wolf. Night was quickly approaching and anything he did, would make him stick out like a sore thumb. The werewolf howled and everyone began to run. Lee Seng moved straight for the werewolf who sniffed him out. Three Echoes weaved around him as the collective Lee Seng's readied their strikes. The werewolf who sniffed him out launched himself into the air and readied and attack from above while his other pack members went in for an attack.
'It's like you're saying, "what should you do? Kill me and get killed or protect yourself and get killed?"' Lee Seng thought. Him and his Echoes stopped, raising their scabbards into the air as a colorful barrier appeared around them. The wolves slammed against the barrier, pushing against the barrier as it began to crack.
Lee Seng and the Echoes shoved the barrier, pushing everything backwards. Lee Seng bolted straight for the nearest werewolf, slashing it with his katana. The werewolf howled in pain and to Lee Seng's theory, the wolf didn't heal its wound. It's friends lashed out at him, forcing him backwards as an Echo exploded in light.

"Gravitum: Piercing Flash and Dash." Lee Seng bolted past a werewolf, slashing at it as he turned and pierced the air with another attack. The starry night painting around Lee Seng as he bounced and pierced between the werewolves.
[3 Werewolves were slain. 42/10,000]
Lee Seng watched the colorful energy twinkle as Werewolves howled in pain. He flicked his finger and watched as the energy flew straight back towards him, revitalizing him. He sucked in a breath of air and smiled.
'My katana is potent against these guys. If I managed to do Echoed Hits on top of Flash and Dash, I could've done way more damage.' Lee Seng thought. Small silver flames burned off of the werewolves as they paid no attention to them. The flames snuffed out in no time as the remaining werewolves turned to look at him. 'Silver Light doesn't do much damage…. Turn on Echoed Hits.'
[Echoed Hits has been activated.]
"Fox fire." Lee Seng whispered. Small golden fox fires lit up the area around them as the fox fires began to pull into the sword. "We'll infuse it with Blessed Fox Fire and see how it goes!" Lee Seng and the werewolves bolted straight for each other. Lee Seng slashed the first Werewolf and blunted a hit on another with his scabbard. Echoed hits triggered, sending two more delayed attacks across the werewolves. Lee Seng threw a barrier up as wolves clawed at him, forcing him to go on the offensive.
"Gravitum: Piercing Flash and Dash." Lee Seng flew through a werewolf, slashing it as he appeared at the end. He lifted his katana up and pierced a row of werewolves and dashed forward, slashing another one and repeating the cycle four more times before the weight of the Negative pressed onto him. He slid to a rough stop, listening to the sounds of Echoed Hits triggering and killing off the majority of the Werewolves.
[6 Werewolves were slain. 54/10,000]
A single bloodied werewolf stood twenty feet in front of Lee Seng, huffing and puffing as blood trickled down its body. They had both taken hits from the fight and were now feeling the effects of it. The werewolf shot forward, Lee Seng reacting a little to late as it slammed its fist into Lee Seng's stomach, sending him flying into the glass building.
Lee Seng bounced, shattering the rough tile as he pressed up against the wall, cracking the wall as he came to a rough stop. The werewolf's howl shrieked through the air as a red energy burst through the large room.
'Ah, shit. I can barely move.' Lee Seng thought., 'I shouldn't have gone so hard on those Flash and Dashes…' The werewolf galloped over to him, slamming the large pillar in the room as it grew faster. Lee Seng blasted himself away from the werewolf, forcing himself to stand as the Negative pressed on him.
"Now's the time… to try it." Lee Seng spoke between his gritted teeth. He slowly lifted his arm up and pointed a finger at the werewolf. Gravity energy poured out of his finger, pressing down on it as he tried to hold it up. The weight of his Negative shattered the ground in an instant as the werewolf rushed at him.
Lee Seng watched as his Negative attached itself to the Werewolf, slowing it. He sucked in a breath, igniting himself in Twin Sun aura as he relieved himself of more of the aura. He dashed forward and went straight for the neck of the werewolf. An explosion echoed as Lee Seng came to a stop behind the werewolf. The werewolf stood there for a moment before its head rolled off its place and fell.
The body dropped soon after and Lee Seng slid his katana back into the scabbard and let out a sigh of relief.
[1 Werewolf slain. 56/10,000]
The eerie silence of the city rolled back in as Lee Seng's curiosity took him towards the dead body of the werewolf. He pushed the head with his scabbard and studied it.
"Big teeth. Sharp eyes. Furry. Looks like a dog." Lee Seng quietly observed as he moved to the body. He squatted down and poked the werewolf's body. "Large muscles. These claws… They're sharp." He poked at the claw and winced when it immediately drew blood. "This is usable for sure. I could possibly find a use for it… Wait, I don't have stuff to extract it with. Dammit." He continued with his observation. The little Fox was very engross in learning about Werewolves.
An hour and a half flew by and Lee Seng found himself standing up as he flicked the blood off of his blade. He had given in and cut into the werewolf, looking at the different parts inside of it. His stomach growled, reminding him hunger was definitely a thing he needed to combat. He summoned his food with a press of his necklace and grabbed it in the air before it could become a victim of gravity. Lee Seng sat down somewhere, fairly flat, and sat the food on his lap. He put his katana off to the side and unwrapped his food.
"I forgot I had this…" Lee Seng whispered. He pulled out a cleaning wipe that he didn't even knew was packed into the sack of food and wiped his hands of blood, dirt and grime. He tossed it to the side and dug into his food. It was a healthy balance of nutrition that would revitalize him.
The quiet sounds of Lee Seng eating filled the air as the eerie silence played its melody in the background. He took his time to eat and didn't think about much while eating. It was one of the few times he could have a moment to himself (though the situation he was in could say otherwise).
"I should've saved this for later but I guess it's better I ate it now than never." Lee Seng put his utensils into the container and wrapped everything back up and touched his necklace. His katana and food disappeared and he was left to his thoughts, again. "Let's find a place to sleep…"
He stood up and started deeper into the building. He had noticed a hallway to his left and took it. He found the stairwell and climbed it for awhile until he got high enough up that he deemed it "safe" from any immediate danger. He settled into the rough ground and closed his eyes. With his history of sleeping anywhere in the lab, sleep quickly greeted him and took him to dream. To be reminded of what could come.
