"Hear the words correctly, she said to her friend FLEW."
Seeing the glaring look of his colleague, the other guard rolled his eyes.
He knew that due to the incident that day, the guards had been scolded heavily causing many to be worried about their jobs, but he could definitely not lose his mind just due to worry.
"Girls, who is your friend?"
The guard then turned to the two and asked.
He was sure that there was definitely something wrong here since the gate had not been opened and now that it was lunchtime, the chances of that happening were even less.
"Our friend is Feifei."
Little Jia and Huang both nodded in unison.
"Umm?"
The guard could feel his face twitch but forced out a smile and continued asking.
"Then tell me, what does your friend Feifei look like?"
"Umm, she is a bird."
Little Jia pursed her lips and answered.
"Okay..."
The guard nodded and continued after taking a breath.
"She will come back, maybe she went to get some food for herself or take a short washroom break."
He could only try to coax the children this way since he didn't know what to think.
First of all, no pets were allowed in the school and if the bird had run away then there was a high chance that it was very likely not going to come back.
And second, if it was some bird they found and petted for a while, the bird might have already gone away.
He just could not wrap his head around it.
But since the girls were having such eager looks in their eyes and also seemed worried, he didn't them to get sad.
"Feifei just ate dumplings, and she doesn't like eating other food."
Little Jia pouted her lips and shook her head.
But then thinking about the second reason she pondered and nodded.
"I never saw Feifei go to the toilet, maybe she doesn't like telling us when she wants to go."
"Yoss yoos, thot hudd v it!"
(Yes yes, that should be it.)
With her mouth completely filled with the other half dumpling, Huang nodded and said words that were definitely not understood by either of those present.
"Huang, we should wait for Feifei till she returns."
Little Jia suggested before turning to the guards and giving a bow.
"Thank you, guard uncle."
"It's okay, we didn't help much."
The guard smiled wryly as the girls rushed back to their bench.
"Those are some really weird ones."
The other couldn't help but say.
"They are children."
The guard shrugged his shoulders before getting back to his duty.
Meanwhile, as the little girls went back to their bench, Little Jia wondered.
"Where would Feifei have gone?"
She didn't know why, but she felt that Feifei would have not gone for what they had just thought.
"Jia, she would have really gone to the washroom just like us."
Huang said and then continued while licking her lips.
"Come, we still have a lot of lunch to finish."
"Your dad really makes tasty food."
"Hmm."
Little Jia simply nodded, just as she was still lost in her thoughts, the two were stopped by someone.
"Wait Huang!"
"Huh?"
The two girls turned in the direction from where the voice was heard.
"Xia?"
Huang muttered the name of the girl while Little Jia only pursed her lips seeing the coming party of people.
Those were the few girls from her own class, and they didn't have a really good relationship.
It was not like Jia didn't want to be friends with them, but that the other girls didn't quite like her company and so the little girl only chose to sit and eat alone all this long.
The girl who seemed to be the small leader of the group walked to them and without even looking at Jia she asked Huang.
"Hey Huang, why are you not playing and having lunch with us these days?"
While she said, the girl glanced at Little Jia through the corner of her eyes for a moment before looking back at Huang.
"Xia, see na, Jia is our classmate and also a good friend, she always eats alone and never comes to play, so I thought that I would pester her to come and eat and play with us."
Huang said as if she was really thinking of getting Jia more friends and indeed it was true, she didn't want Jia to simply eat alone.
She had been Jia's friend in kindergarten and they also lived in the same building complex, but ever since she had been to school here, Jia would be cast out.
She just didn't understand why the others would treat such a sweet friend of her's like this.
ραпdα nᴏνɐ| сom In fact, she had always tried to talk to the Xia girl about getting Jia into their group of friends, but she would only be scolded.
As for Xia, after hearing Huang's words, she didn't answer her or say anything that was close to what Huang had said and instead asked.
"When are you going to come with us?"
It was as if she had not even heard what Huang had just said.
"You..."
Huang pouted her lips and glared at Xia.
"I will not come to you, Jia is my best friend, I will always be with her."
She pointed her finger at Xia before turning to Little Jia and pulling her along.
"Come Jia, we have many dumplings to finish, HUMPHH."
"Huang, stop!"
Xia stomped her feet, staring at Huang's back as she pulled Little Jia along with her.
But Huang acted as if she didn't hear her words and walked ahead while Jia stared at her with a blank look on her face not knowing just what had happened.
She remembered two years ago when she was still in kindergarten there were many children around her age that would not allow her to play with them.
That was when she was a 4-year-old little girl and was crying while in a corner.
But that was when she heard a voice.
"Hey, why are you crying?"
